anything on saturday afternoons? My sat afternoon nothing to do... and nobody to go out with. Usually Ayuni on weekends if by noon to 2pm tak go out, she bising!! once getting ready to go only, she quiet coz she knows going out!
 


poly dentist cheap but 6 mths wait for appt. by then, i forget already.. but last time, i took out all my wisdom teeth thru poly. they refer to cgh. its very cheap coz abt $1K plus i think for day surgery, plus use medisave. if private dentist, $700 just for 1 wisdom tooth but also use medisave.

yes, they garang. scold me ah last time.. hahaa.. but i go 1 private malay dentist also scold coz decay til deep in. ahhhahaa...
now i go near my house, very young dentist, v nice also. which reminds me.. i need to make another appt soon....

nowadays on saturdays we just go swimming then have lunch outside, jalan2 before going home.

time i used csc at kk...i saw my gynae at Private Suite and was in A1 ward.
i never had to pay for any consultations and medicines under the list by MBS.
i only had to pay cash for blood test and if i take the fish oil supplement.
other than that, they will deduct from our monthly pay at a subsidised rate.

u tak apply dependant CSC for ayuni ke?
my hubby applied for faiq so whenever he go to my gp for medical examination or jab we can claim back $10 or $20 from the total bill.
quite worth it pe...

CSC cannot use for inpatient stay, only outpatient.
The old scheme yg boleh use for inpatient...kitorang new generation ni rugi sikitlah on that.

I went to Dr Aziz too, and same with styliciously - It's near my place. I agree he's very experienced, and one good thing is you can also consult him on religious issues etc. Funny guy, tapi can be quite frank - yang ada orang a bit uncomfortable on this.

is the subsidy at PS through CSC worth it? I pun tak pernah pakai that card - I just use it to claim my $10 when I go doc, Tu pun most of the time terlupa & gotta make manual claim at p@g!

lynzi - i prefer seeing my gynae at tps. my first pregnancy, i was so lembik and i couldnt handle walking so far to get a scan, another long distance to get urine checked etc.. dr goh sl will be topmost in my list of possible gynaes. thanks!

nora.r - doesnt the polyclinic dentists see our little ones? i went to see a dentist at woodlands polyclinic and she told me that i can arrange an appointment for my 2-year old during my next visit.

dat time when i first gave birth kan, i used the CSC card everytime i go for consultation. Like wat Lynzi said, just show and go. Then end mth, they cut the amt, after subsidy, from hb's pay. Even hospitalization fees. Dats inpatient kan? I pun tak tau.. hehe

My sis said bila dia pakai her hb CSC card, tak de pun subsidy. Then kalo gi plyclinic pun sama, after jumpa doc, trus balik. Tak yah make pymt.

lynzi - yup. i'm a woodlands mummy! i'm a ftwm to one precious little girl. tiap2 hari i rasa macam nak pencen je. ni tengah stay up til the wee hours of the morning pasal kerje jugak lah.

naqia - yup. bila i jumpa my gynae, memang tak payah bayar apa2. tapi, bila dapat gaji, semua kene potong lah. but i did not check if i'm paying less or not. unfortunately, kalau kene hospitalised, the CSC card doesnt cover.

nora - poly dentist is not that cheap leh. I went for scaling and polishing cost me about $40+. i think the rate is just slightly lower than private dentists kan? So if you’re in a rush, I think you might as well see a pte dentist.

Thanks Lyzni - the info on CSC card helps... I tot since I got the CSC card shd utilise it tapi kan... rasa macam nak stick to dr. aziz. I think the susidy follows a certain percentage aft a certain amt n for standard medication...

My hubby n ayuni got the card also, auto my workplace give aft i give certs. my hubby nv use at all coz last time go GP under his company dunt need to pay.. now dah contract job, his benefit not so good. Ayuni went to Dr. Melati at East shore, quite pricy n not under MSB so i also lazy to claim $10 on my own. she go to my GP also for creams. they claim for us so easy for me. Think will switch to GP for jabs after 1 yrs - less hassle.

Ok! best! Yesterday, my sat morning layan Ayuni then 1pm she sleep I also sleep, so tat she dunt wake up so fast. We woke up at abt 3pm then go Parkway Parade! hehe.. got straight bus so i rented the stroller there instead. Sometimes, with Ayuni alone macam lonely.. ahaha

Big Splash - seens pics of it in mag n when pass by ECP, looks good. got shuttle bus there from parkway parade. Maybe will go there on the 28 sat? I like fireworks!!

If the poly is near yr place, then maybe it makes sense to use the CSC card. So far also my experience (actually hubby yang pakai my CSC card!) is that no subsidy lah, cuma dia potong straight through our salary.

Heys, there's a Dr Melati at East Shore? Is she a PD? I thought it's Dr Malathi? Coz my baby goes there to see her too. She was my baby's PD since birth, so just go lah. Her medication also I think, is much more effective than my GP's.

Hmmm kalau gamen service dapat claim 35% kan? Or is it more? I *must* go one day. Dah bertahun seh tak gi dentist (menggeletar seh)

I live in the other end of most of ya who live in Woodlands. But if anyone's interested, can gather at my place one day. Putting up temporarily at a place with a pool. The baby pool's quiet most of the time anyway, so you gals can bring yr littles ones here to swim

ya, that's the same Dr. Malathi, she's seems to be the only PD there so East Shore cases go to her. i heard pple say her name first so i always tot Melati.hhaha.. What kinda medicine u refering to? her hydrocot cream comes in tube instead of the family GP type where its like a small case. more hygenic if in tube. as for paracetamol, I used the one she gave for 1st jab when Ayuni fell sick. quite drowzy but quite already ah.. she was quite ok in whole 2 days.

As for the pool, u staying at the condo beside kembangan mrt ke?

Ade plan nak gi swimming eh? Best jugak tu. I just got back from Downtown East chalet. My sis booked for her kids. So all the nephews and nieces (young and old) enjoy themselves kat Wild Wild Wet.Me first time seh pergi! Jakun habis! Brought Darling to the kiddy slides and she enjoyed it very much. Good thing though they have this safety vest for all the kids. Mana nye tempat at Woodlands nie have swimming pools with slides. Btw, I didn't go to Sher nye chalet - celebrating Sharf's 4th birthday. Darling kena flu. And today she just got better. Need to get Sher's addy too. Pass Sharf's birthday present...hee..hee..

Btw, any mummies out there know about these children books - Help Me Be Good (http://www.grobooks.com/shop/index.php?c=91&p=201). I don't know if there's more than 1 type of these books that help children to learn good morals. I saw kat TV that Diana Ser is having and it is not this one.

I gave birth at east shore and i think there are several PDs there. Imagine kalau Dr Malathi sorang yang jaga all the newborn, bila masa dia nak jumpa patients kat clinic dia...ehhe. But I guess those PDs may not "reside" at ESH itself. ESH is so convenient for me - dekat habis. Nak bersalin, 5 minute naik keta dah sampai. hehe...

At first, I pon ingat Dr Melati seh? I was like, wow, cool, ada malay PD with such an antique name..heheh!

Re Belly belt, so far I tak pernah pakai. My maternity wear are hand me downs from SIL, and I bought 2 maternity pants which I plan to use again when i get preggy with no #2 insya-Allah. I think maternity pants beli 2-3 cukup, boleh recycle. or, I just wear some pants under belly :p

OK ladies, turning in now. Entah what got into me, stayed up a bit later to do some ironing. It's time to look for a part-time helper...!

manage to go the samra party. fun! it ended at 12am. The makan was Anatolia's turkish & briyani not sure from where. music started ard 9-9:30. the ladies side only start dancing at abt 1030pm. Terpekik-pekik heheh. I went with a fren, she dun really dance so I pun tengok aje. tapi time dorang start buat cam conga - kita join sejap. heheh think this e only time c some hijab gals buka scarf pun on hip to gelek ;P

some mums came with their daughters. fathers with sons.youngest boy was abt 4yrs. pandai dia samra!

anyways they organise samra abt once in 6mths or once a yr.

I've used the maternity belt before. During the first few months ok, but must wear a longer top to cover the front part, if not people will think you tak zip and can see your panties. : )

But after that still have to buy maternity pants cos my jeans/pants semua tight- very uncomfortable! So not a very good investment..

daec, will try to join ya next time, keep me informed. I pernah join belly dancing -fun dancing with all the girls!!

Actually my first pregnant I bought all the maternity clothes. And it's really expensive. For the second pregnancy, I wore my first and also bought second hands. Sometimes, i just wore my hubby's shorts at home.

maternity pants:
i bought 2 pairs and i wore them all the time. now that i'm not pregnant but terlebih babat, the maternity pants are comfy. it's the below waist type.

maternity clothes that do not look 'too maternity' are also perfect for me now. i'm suffering from perut buncit which can be mistaken for being 3-4 months pregnant. sigh.

actually I choose Dr Joycelyn Wong pasal 1.gd comments 2. from TMC 3. on Fridays she was based at Bedok. gd! no need to travel, I thot.

tapi during the pregnancy, she closed shop at Bedok and choose to focus on her clinic in TMC aje. I just ikutlah since I already see her for few months.

I only saw 'Little Book of Manner's by Karen Katz. Does it cover habits such as whining, complaining ? Or is there any books cover that ? I have come across both kids & adults who still do that. Its irritates me and wish Nada dun pick that up :p

Yup straight to Big Splash from Parkway Parade, read in a mag but details not specific. This sat gonna bring Ayuni to sunat in the morning. But most prob in the afternoon shd be alright. Thinks Ayuni will have mood to go out one. U got any specific timing? if not, after 2pm is fine with me.

Saturday usually own time own target with ayuni coz If not working, we will be at our bedok home fri nights til sunday nite. If i work, will go out after work n end up at our bedok home or go straight there. my hubby definately have to work OT on sat even though on 5day work week. My hubby likes it there coz his collection of PS3 games. For me, i will surf or blast the vol up on movies or concert dvds. If ayuni sleeping, i will close the door n the noise wont travel in. Sometimes, very tiring to jaga ayuni esp if i dunt sleep with her.

count me in for pool outing if any coming.

Anyone going out this Friday?? I clearing my VL so wants to go out instead of being stuck home in the afternoon. I do wanna check out how good is the GSS.

i will be teaching conversational malay to non malay pupils.
moe dah siapkan lesson plan and books so just teach aje.
no test or exams.
at the end of it they just need to sing a malay song or a short skit on stage aje.

Nope, mine is the old type (expire 10yr) I made that dulu in 2000 for the purpose of nak go for school sponsered weekend cruise. Pas to tak guna lagi. My son is the biometric type. The cover keras konjol.

jusco there's 2 if i'm not wrong. one is only 1 level, the other newer one is mega big - its straight after carefour. think these 2 yang paling jauh i pernah go venture out.

dah lama tak pergi sey.. macam nak rent a car n go! JB -sometimes need to be streetwise n hussle abit. if not, easily taken advantage of.
