My goodness! SO panjang lebar this thread!! Been MIA cause kids been sick - they were down wt flu. Man, how I hate it! But alhamdullilah, all OK now

Your eyes damn good! Alamak, very the long story. Not as simple as you'd think. My boys kan born 29wks. Si abang after 12hrs, was already at birth canal so doc cant stop him although I was given 1001 meds to delay labour. Si adik pulak, was breech when abang was born so docs left him in there. Abt 18hrs later, he was out by emergency C-sect thanks to vaginal infection frm the earlier normal delivery. So there you hv it! *Phew*

Come lah tmr, then after can go United Square, hv brownies at Globetrotters - YUM-O! There are 2 buses frm town to TMC bus stop. Service no 5 & 143, you naik frm the bus stop depan Royal Scotts/DFS. 5-10 mins dah sampai
KKH: So far, I've had pleasant experiences there. Hv stayed at C-class & B1 class. Besides waiting time at the clinics (which I've learnt to deal wt by getting the 1st 2-3 appt slots in AM), I hv no complains. The Children's Clinic (Specialist & Private) are also excellent. I personally believe that they know what they are doing. And at KK, I know that me & my kiddos are in safe hands as they are well equipped esp wt Level 3 NICU (when you hv had premature birth - this is important!). My gynae there is Dr Benjamin Tham - excellent, flexible & open. Absolutely love him

TMC stuff are all well trained. I had C-sect, didnt know what to expect as it was my first delivery. The nurses there all very helpful. Clean me up every 2-3 hrs.. imagine all the heavy bleeding after C kan..so very uncomfortable. Without calling or telling them what to do, they dah get ready to salinkan I. And very polite. I really had a pleasant stay there. They even mandikan I tau!
And there are a lot of good gynaes too. Dr Lawrence Ang, Dr LC Cheng, Dr Adrian Woodworth and many more Ive heard good reviews. If you are looking for female gynae, you have to wait for Sharena to be active bck here pasal her 1st and now 2nd I think both are female gynaes so she's in the best position to advice. HTH..

What will they do at Phytospa? Rambut I gugur pun teruk jugak.. Have you checked how much per treatment is or they go by package? And I think definately got to go back for few treatments kan? I thought of going shopping on friday in town la. Mcm lama tak go there..and dah lama tak ajak Sharf naik MRT.

Oh abt PhytoSpa, the times I pergi (just 2x lah), no package. Just make appt then they do necessary treatment lah. So its per treatment. No hard sell too

And no im not working and have not been for the past 3 yrs like that...ever since my babysitter dah tak larat jaga my girl dulu. Alhamdulillah my hubby bole support us, cukup makan...hehehe. Dulu i keje at Kiddy Palace actually...tapi tak bleh tahan pasal orang atasan so racist...malas nak layan~

ape cerita pasal hairloss ni pulak? My hair baru aje stop dropping last month after 4 months of hair loss. Now look macam badut sikit coz the small stub of hairs are starting to grow. Does going for treatment works? coz it's due to our hormones kan? if our hormone tak change then then hair wont stop dropping right?

Wow that's good service man! My 1st kena c-section, the "doc" did a bad job glueing me that the cut split apart on 2nd day. Plus they glue me pun sengget. I didnt know it was sengget til the nurse who washed me cut on the 2nd day told me it was. so she tried to repair but sticking alot of scotch tape sana sini... eehhh suay seh.... Now my tummy looks like crap!! Padahal the "surgoen" who cut me promised that i'll get no scars n able to show off in a bikini...Hah!!
Pls note i put "__" sign coz i tak percaya those ppl were qualified to be called as such.

i've been under the weather for a while, flu cough running nose sakit kepala.. hai nak breathe pon susah... twice last week i come to werk than belom lunch i dah balik... mon and tues i was on mc.. sekarang duduk kat office groggy sebab makan ubat da macam macam.....
but the worse part abt being sick is i cant be with my boy... i miss sangat sleep with him and kissing him...

I was with Dr Joycelyn Wong (TMC).Cant say much abt actual delivery coz she advised me to transfer to KK coz I had complications and KK would be cheaper as my baby is premature. She is very caring,take time to answer all ur questions. Even u takde question, she take time to talk u to give relevant advice. I also appreciate her advice coz she clda keep quiet and let me stay in TMC which would cost too much. she manage my transfer to KK by contacting her dr fren, Dr Irene Chua,ask her to take me then prep the necessary papers.
Another fren with her too - happy with her. She is open to discussing ur wishes. My fren tak nak episiotomy, those normal scans to c baby, took doula and hypnobirth,squatted when birth. She ok with all this. Kalau birth have complications, I dunno how she is though.

if u wan to squat/other positions during birth, Mt Alvernia is ok with that too. Again choice of dr is very impt

kalau ade flu try makan vit C tablet. Ima kalau ade slight hint of flu nak datang ima terus makan tu. Flu pun leh terbantut. I got my Vit C tablets from dulu discharge hospital branak 2nd one. Got it free in the medicine bag
But u can get those off the shelf at pharmacy. Also try the Brand's Essence of Berry. That also keep me from getting flu. Quite good, me dah more than 1 year tak kene flu.

things that will help with pushing out baby
- birthing choice position
- how breath when push out baby. heard breath long slow breath help
- push with contractions, slowly
- dun tense ur mouth, facial muscles.
the muscles there cam ada relation with muscles kat bawa. relax facial muscles
- better to make low pitch noises than high pitches. cant remember why exactly but something to do with make the pushing easier
- can try do perineum massage urself to stretch that area
cant remember off hand wat else. this from my readings/learnt from birth class at Four Trimesters. just to share. tapi I tak dapat try see work or not coz kena emergency c-section

I think e dr selected v impt. coz some prefer episiotomy, some is not. My fren had one for first time. second time, she had a diff gynae whom did not give her one. her babies are abt the same size.
some dr/nurse will observe you, even pegang the perineum while pushing to guide u so that minimal tear. I met one gal who had v bad one too. suffer few yrs. I think she took classes, took a doula to help her, read up more abt 'pushing' techniques. but true lah, in the end these things c how on the day itself.
I'm amazed the story I sent u gals earlier - baby 4.55kg, tak payah episiotomy, small tear only. I wonder how manage that? *scatch head*

Hi Lynn02..Yup i went there n haha guess wat i spent most of my $ on food instead the chocs are simply irresistable..
Lingerie i saw a whole lot of them..but didnt keep track of the pricing though..They have different section Mens, Womens, Kids..My focus was on the bedlinen n Kids cause the toys are rely cheap too..But it is very big n Household things was there too..So Happy Shopping!!!
