Any comments about Dr Chen Li Han


Hi Yen,

Are you talking about Dr Chen at Yishun Chong Pang?

He is my gynae for both my pregnancies... he is quite patience & gentle. His stitching skills is not bad, heal very fast...
I think his rate is abt $65 for consultation + scanning, consider quite cheap bah, coz got include scanning.
Remember to call for appt, coz clinic is always quite crowded...

What is the typical waiting time? Is he a pro-natural gynae? Because my #1 was c-sect. I wish I can have a natural birth this time and find a supportive gynae.

No pro...
It really depends... Even we have bookings, sometimes we still got to wait like 15-30mins.
I think he is quite a supportive & patience gynae. You can tell him ur needs or query, he will explain it to you.
 
Hi colyn, why you option for c-sect? when is yr edd? Mt.A?

I first saw Dr Chen last week, waited for 45mins. He is very details, explain everything very clearly to me. Mayb this is the reason prolong the waiting time.

He is my gynae too I give birth to my son 13th Feb 2006. His stitches are good. I can get off the bed the 2nd day & they are almost invisible now.

May I noe how's the charging of Dr Chen Lin Han? Is there a package avail? My wife pregnant first time n we're looking ard for a gynae in North side. My GP recommend Dr Chen and we're considering also Dr Lawrence Ang.

Dr chen delivered both my bbs by csec. He's very neat at stitching, even my massage lady for my 1st gal commented on the stitching.

His subsequence consultation fee is $65 incld scan (first appt will be more expensive ~$120). He got package that start from week 16th, it's $600 (consultation + scan + vitamins).

I also considering Dr Chen & Dr Ang, but I decide to change to Dr Ang because I have a very bad nausea, I can't stand the smell from ChongPang market.
 
Dr. Chen delivered my 3 babies - all natural birth. A very experienced and skillful doctor. Good stitching - I can walk the next day and very little pain when passing urine in hospital. My hubby fully trusted him.

I'm staying in Tampines and I still went back to him for baby #3.
 
I was delivered by Dr Chen tz too, cuz I live near Chong Pang.

My Edd was July 08, induced

Normal waiting time is an hour.... Even got waited 2 hours before because he goes for delivery and always late one lor...

I got complications after birth.. Have PPH lor.. Landed in ICU for a night, 2 bags of blood transfusion.

During my delivery he just came bcak from a C-sect... My baby still got 3cm in my canal so cannot deliver yet, he just took off his gloves and tell the nurses at Mt A that I am still not ready and left angrily!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reason he gave me about my complications is that my baby is big (first child, 3.3kg. When scanning he predicted is 3.5kg so he afraid can go to 4kg so ask me to induce at 38w 4 days)

My trusted GP says that it can be he never deliver placenta properly .... If not, will be as internet says, induced, big baby, long labour will cause it too..

At least he did come back 3 hours after my birth to do the op to clear the blood clots.

The stitches are quite good actually. Don't feel pain can walk immidiately I must say.

By the way, is Cleft palate is able to see during the detail scan?
 
My 3 babies are delivered by him. Thumbs up for him. He estimate my babies' weigh very accurate.

Sitches are good can walk don't feel pain at all.

i still got cramp after eating ultrogestan..
then cal the clinic, they ask me go see GP..bcos they say appt full..
i feel v piss lo
then i wonder y he nv give me another medicine duphaston which has no side effect...
then yest i cal and complain...the nurse ask me to go see him immediately abt my cramps..
i say i already at work...somemore when i have cramps, u all say full appt...when i feel beta, u all ask me go down....my company not suka suka let ppl go on leave lo..
 
i personally find doc chen a very good gynae.

my first girl was delivered by him via c-section. now my 2nd boy i'm also seeing him and my hubby trust him a lot . cause at times , i have problems with my vomiting or bleeding , i went to other gynae at amk such as dr theresa cheng and dr jen , they are not as professional and patient as dr chen at all .

Dr chen will do a through investigation first before the last resort of admitting me to hospital for treatment but the other gynaes don't do all these . Especially Dr Jen , just sk me to go hospital like that without any checks .

Overall, his service is good , nurses are friendly , most importantly his rates are reasonable .
 
Hello, i hope there are more people comment. I'm with Theresa Cheng too at AMK. But her medication seems very expensive so decided to look around for 2nd option and saw Dr Chen LH which is near my house.

Now I'm 8weeks pregnant, looking for package and good gynae. Please comment. =)
 
Hi memorablechocolate, congrats on your pregnancy ! Hmmm , I went to Theresa Cheng when I was 8 weeks pregnant and I was having bad bleeding . I had bad experience with her service and her price of medications plus consultation . I still vividly remember her anti biotics was $150/box . The whole consultation plus medication was $315. I almost fainted .

When I went back to Doc Chen with the same problem , he did the same treatment and guess how much I paid $120 .

I think Doc Chen price is very reasonable and most importantly his service is good .

Dr Chen services are good. He is patient and friendly too... He has delivered my 3 babies. He is just like my friend. His package is abt $650 from 16 weeks. His medication also not very ex.

I called the clinic to find out but was informed that I need to go for the 1st consultation then they will recommend me the package.
 
Hi, strongly recommended by my colleagues to see Dr Chen for my pregnancy. Read favourable comments from another mommy forum. Any updated comment on Dr Chen?
 
DR Chen is great! Took good care of me throughout my pregnancy with twins last year. Super nice caring doctor. Heard his stritching skills are superb, ( main reason I went to him ) but I still get keloids. Guess it's in my genes..I strongly recommend Dr Chen!
 
He is my gynea for my 3 kids. Remember my 1st born, he scolded the midwife to help me push my bb cod i don't know how to.
