Confinement Nanny to recommend - Li Jie

Hello future mummies! Wanted to share about our experience with Li Jie, our confinement nanny who was introduced to us by my sister who have also engaged her previously.

Li Jie was incredibly helpful with breastfeeding/ massaging, especially when my wife had only managed to pump out quite little breast milk each time at the initial stage but she was patient and encouraging, reminding us to keep trying and eventually the volume got more..

Her meals were always delicious and varied (3 meals
each day and brought along her own blender to make smoothie for my wife), ensuring my wife didn’t get bored with the same food. She also made desserts for her and made sure I as the husband was well-fed too.

Li Jie was very thorough with food prep and cleaning, always keeping the kitchen spotless and organized, which was such a relief during this busy time.

When our baby had colic, she shared great techniques to help manage it, which worked for us.

Li Jie is patient, caring, and incredibly skilled. She treated us like family and we’re so grateful for her. We will definitely reach out to her again if we have future children.

I wanted to echo Weihao’s comments above about Li Jie (CHONG MXXX LXX). It was serendipity that I got to know Li Jie as my confinement nanny wanted to leave after 3 days of taking care of my 2 months old baby because of a previous hand injury acting up. I was at my wits end as I didn’t know other Nannies. She then recommended Li Jie. After speaking to Li Jie briefly on the phone, I decided to take a leap of faith and hire her as she sounded very pleasant and professional.

Li Jie was truly a godsend. My baby was going through her 10th week growth spurt and was especially fussy. But Li Jie was so patient and kind when taking care of her and it paid off because my baby took to her just after one day.

My baby also had bad colic issues and Li Jie recommended me to get the colic drops and also massaged her everyday to get the air out. She also recommended giving baby less milk each meal but instead have more meals even though it meant that Li Jie had to work harder and wake up more often through the night. It demonstrated her commitment to her job and her strong work ethic in terms of doing what she thinks is best for the baby. After about a month of Li Jie’s tender loving care, my baby’s colic situation has gotten much better.

Li Jie’s presence has given me a peace of mind to go back to work full time. I am not worried and am able to concentrate fully on my job while she takes great care of my daughter. She is also such a pleasure to be around, always jovial, positive and encouraging.

I highly recommend Li Jie to mummies looking for confinement nanny / nanny to older babies. She is such a professional and I am so glad to have met her.

Hi Mummies! I would like to recommend my confinement nanny Li Jie or endearing known as Bobo auntie!

I met her when she was looking after my colleague’s daughter a few years ago and had a good impression from how she took care of the baby. I was fortunate enough to engage her for my first pregnancy.

Even before I delivered in July 2025, Bobo auntie would continually check in occasionally on how I’m doing during my pregnancy.

During my confinement, she would make delicious foods that remind me of my favourite homecooked meals from my grandma for me, my husband and helper. My husband who is also Caucasian enjoyed her food throughly.

As my baby (born at 38 weeks at 2.1kg) struggles with colic and is a noisy sleeper, Bobo auntie takes extra care and goes out of her way to make sure he’s sleeping alright throughout the entire night. Despite experiencing sleepless nights due to baby she continues to ensure that im well fed and rested while looking after baby.

Am so thankful for Bobo auntie for her love and care she’s sown into our family and will definitely engage her if we decide to have more children

Hi everyone, I would like to also recommend nanny Li Jie to anyone looking for an excellent confinement nanny!

We initially hired her for the usual 28 days in Jan 2026 and extended for another 2 weeks till the start of CNY.

As a first time parents, we were quite anxious and lost in the beginning. Thankfully, Li Jie was very patient and encouraging, guiding us through caring for our baby and understanding his needs. She handled our baby with so much care which allowed me to get a proper rest.

Her confinement meals were not only nutritious, but also genuinely delicious and varied. I am quite a picky eater and she was able to accommodate to my preferences easily. Everyday she prepared 3 meals with a variety of dishes that helped with my recovery and milk supply. Visitors never failed to comment on how amazing her cooking smelt! On top of that, she always kept the kitchen spick and span.
