Hi magmag,
My gynae provided the binder. The brand is Dale. It has a website at http://www.dalemed.com/prod/abdominalbinder.html
I personally find it useful. I even used it during my post-natal massage.
You can check with your gyane if he/she sell a binder. I think most pharmacies sell binders.
I took the nurse's advice during the course to wear button-down pyjamas dresses. However, I personally find it troublesome to button up and down whenever I breastfeed. It is not recommended to wear pants, unless it's really low waist and loose like maternity pants, as the pants may 'cut' into your c-section wound.
You would need to bring disposable panties, the hospi wld not be providing. Remember to buy at least a size bigger than usual. You can also bring your own sanitary pads. The hospi should however provide one packet.
