What to do after open myomectomy?

Hi,

Any advice on what to do after an open myomectomy surgery? Do I need to get a postnatal massage too since it’s similar to a c-section delivery?

Also, my tummy (above the c-sect) has been big since day 1 after the surgery. Is this normal? It wasn’t big before the surgery and I definitely didn’t expect it to become big after the surgery since I’m removing fibroids.
