Hi I am about 6 wks pregnant now but have been having cramps for the past 1 week.

Is it abnormal?

Am worried and I'm oni seeing gynae next week

Thanks

I cannot comment on your case, but to share, I did experience some mild cramps, of which the gynae explained that the embryo is growing, and stretching the uterus. And especially for first time mums, this is a new sensation to the uterus and to the mom, so some might feel mild cramps.

If it worries you, you can either call the clinic, or ask to bring forward your appointment.

yupp i did have some cramps too in e early stages of my pregnancy, but everything was ok. but then again if u worry about it, yupp u can call e doctor. all e best!

Hi wt, do you have any bleeding? It's dangerous if you spot any bleeding - brownish, pink, etc.

I am typically more cautious so I would see the gynae immediately and do a check.

Had cramps too at 6 weeks... Still have cramps today at 14 weeks. Gynae said she is not too worry about it as long as the is no bleeding.

However, you should see your gynae to make sure everything is fine.

Just want to ask did ur gynae give you medication? My gynae gave quite a fair but, wondering if it is safe....

Yes, I had cramps and even spotting. My OBGYN wasn't too positive, but in the end, it turned out to be alright. Call the clinic and get an earlier appointment if you are worried. Good luck.

Its way too early to have cramps, you're just 6 weeks pregnant. For my past pregnancies, cramps occur during the 2nd trimester of the baby.Try to elevate your feet whenever your sitting or lying on bed. it would be a big help.
