Dark red or brown could be old blood. As long as not fresh red. Continue the inserts on time and if still worried maybe call them on Monday or next working day? I had 3 full days of cramp and Af symptoms and bfp.
Now might be too early to test hpt.

Don't have to consider the natural start of period day if you're on medicated FET.

I was spotting for a couple of days (7dp4dt and 8dp4dt) also. BFP.

Anyway yest I was bleeding quite heavily, dark red with clots. Went down for a scan, both BBs are ok. Based on transfer I'm nearing week 6 already.

Doc said quite common for ivf cases to bleed, and unexplained.

Hey All... i really dont know who to turn to... but I hope I could find someone here who care to share if your experience is similar to mine.

Here's a little background abt my IVF.

I did my FET transfer 1 blastocyst on 12 June 2017.
On my period calendar, expected 'period' due date is 14 June 2017.

Here's what I encounter..

the question is ... the dark red blood is my period??? Is my progesterone level not high enough? Or implantation? I am sooo worried now and i dont know what to think... i cried yesterday kept stressing myself about it. If its my period and my progesterone arent high enough, my lining will shed and what will happen to my embie????

12 June - 0dpt (Felt something inside my tummy at left side of near naval area)

13 June - 1dpt (No symptom except for being hungry)

14 June - 2dpt5dt (Wokeup at 420am, felt slightly crampy but diff type of cramp, intense cramp from 615-715am, pulling cramp one whole day, backache, constipated, 10am - 730pm wipe with brown stain)

15 June - 3dpt (only mild pulling, watery brown discharge at around 650pm, mild pain in left and right ovaries)

16 June - 4pt (cramps till thigh started ard 6pm, dark red spotting smell like crinone then pee again at 7pm, wipe and have same spotting)

17 June - 5pt (frequent dark red colored blood/stain when wipe)

I also started spotting after my ET and had numerous no. Of spotting and bleeding episodes until wk9 N in some episodes i was bleeding red like day 4/5 of menses type.
Just head down to visit the dr when u see red and bed rest as much as u can.

Update:
They didnt do any blood test to check my hcg cos too early. Doctor check and said that there are no coming flow from the uterus and it looks like old blood and im expected to go thru this for a couple of days more. She also said that some people encounter the bleeding early or late 2ww. they gave me the PIO jab for hormone support.

Ask me to monitor till Monday or Tuesday, if the bleeding gets worse or still spotting. They ask me to call them up.

I took the jab before, the spotting does not stop immediately. So far, mine range between 3-7 days.

Yes my dr gave me max dose of supports - 2x proluton jabs / week, 3x duphaston, estrogen n utrogestan but still had spotting n bleeding episodes after the max supports given.

My suggestion is if its not bleeding, then u wait till tomorrow. For me, i just went to kkivf yesterday due to 3 consevutive days (2pt5dt - 5pt5dt) and its very worrying cos its there when i pee and constantly coming out (dark red and dark brown mix).
Dr checked and said thay brown and dark red is old blood and she did not see any fresh flow coming from the uterus. So they give me a PIO jab.. and today i feel much better and decrease in spotting.

If it is not a flow, then monitor first. Coz if go Thomson 24hr clinic, its gp, then they will have to ask your gynae to return to TMC as its weekend. I encountered once before, waited 1.5hrs for gynae to return and the charges is $300 for her to return after working hours, my total bill that visit was $450+. If go KKH O&G, for subsided patient around $45-$70 depending on what tests are done.

Yes. Experienced spotting and bleeding for my no.1 when i bfp in 2010. Spotted whole of trim 1, trim 2 got massive bleeding and i bed rested 80% throughout my entire pregnancy. my no.1 is turning 6.

Then my thyroid specialist (KTPH) refer me to KKH for IVF when she gave me green light for TTC, as my age is catching up. So, my IVF is done at KKH, but I have switched back to TMC now.

If really have emergency over the weekend, KKH O&G is ok to go. Its a walk-in clinic for women.

Rest well and visit your gynae tmr morning. Dont worry too much.

There are many reasons for spotting n bleeding .... sometimes it could be cervix sensitive or sub-chronic hematoma within the uterine cavity, low laying placenta, separation of membranes etc ...

But he says it should correct itself later part of the pregnancy

Hi, I am seeing Dr Adelina Wong now. Very friendly and patient lady, she really take time to talk to us and answer all our queries and doubts. Usually there is no queue at the clinic, unless she step away for delivery.

Then I start asking around about this. At first thought private gynae may not accept, but seems like there is no issue at all. According to KKH, usually switch need to be done before week 20, but still depending on different gynae's preference.

I see...I am a subsidised patient at KKH, so my experiences there is not very good. If you are a private patient at KKH, then not that bad I think. Actually TMC, most gynae dont have package too. If you are looking for gynae with package, then have to consider others.

Just stick to ur ivf doc lor. Why must switch? I heard many bad reviews abt tmc lor n the bill later can shock u. U must think if upon delivery n u went into emergency csect u know the bill can clock up to how much ma

I am a subsidised patient, so I am seeing a team of doctors, so far seen about 3-4 doctors but all not good, feel no commitment and no one to follow throughout. I even encountered one doctor blamed the previous one for not changing my supplement the last visit.

Ah... i also heard good reviews on dr adelina wong from my ivf dr nurse too. I saw Dr Adrian Tan from ACJ too and he is a nice n assuring dr but i am contemplating if i should change cos my EDD is on 1Jan18 and many gyneas arent around during this period. So i am having second thoughts again ....

Dr wong also no longer has package ? Think the obgynea insurance is putting a strain to the drs and the costs are being passed down to us patients ...

I had low laying placenta for both my pregnancies n for my no.1 i bed rested alot and my placenta moved up as i advanced into trim 3 and i had a normal delivery.... the bed resting part minimizes the risk of bleeding.

Oh, you are from ACJ too. Previously I saw Dr Joycelyn Wong from ACJ too. She is very nice, but the waiting time is long and clinic so packed, probably because there are 3 doctors. I am trying my luck on Dr Adelina to see if she accept KKH IVF patient and she is ok with it. Otherwise I will go back to Dr Joycelyn.
