Hi koric, true my boss r nice which means I have to work double hard to repay back!! Like this morning work nonstop from 745 to 1130. Only took a bite of breakfast when my staff use my pc. So stress ... now my backbone is sooooooooo pain.
My gynae told me to go swimming juz relax in the pool have yet to try. The public pool near my place has a lot of kids I scare they bang into me...

Today during consult, he did say that today beta should be at least reach 800, but my is ......
Anyway I had a big cry just now.
I also call my tcm dr, he still will give me an tai med & see how is the result.
I felt very lost just now, but after heard the call from Nuh, felt that at least Prof has not given up yet.
So I should at least have some hope.
I would wait till the result is out, then give up.

BNB, praying along with you. One question though - did the Prof give you any meds? Just take note when you take western meds and TCM.
Cos when I asked my doc if I can take multi-vites, she repeated that I should make sure there's no herbs. And I was told not to take TCM first.

Sisters, I felt a little sick after dinner. Then went to puke and shortly after LS! Argh!
Queenie, I feel that Dr. Yu is woman of a few words. She will only tell you what you need to know. And she doesn't really look at you in the eye when she speaks. But she was recommended to me by my gynae so I went with her since she is so experienced. Queue is not really long. And everytime I go to CARE, the wait is very decent. I've not waited more than 30 min. But of course, it's the nurses who attend to me. I don't get to see her often. Only first appt, ER, ET and scan. I waited for about 45 min during my week 6 scan yesterday though.
SGH will culture your embryos to as long as possible. While people usually do D2 trf, it depends on the embryos. I did D3 trf.

Hi Queenie, I ve not been to KK b4, so can't compare. But I will recommend friends to SGH n her for a few reasons.
1) 1st appointment to see her is the wk aft I call SGH for appointment. Very fast. During 1st appointment, she will explain ivf in detail to u. If u already made up ur mind, nurses will start arranging all the tests. The whole process is very fast. From my 1st fone call to SGH n my 1st Lucrin, it's only 3 mths( taking into a/c I need to wait for my AF to come)
2) As mentioned by koirc, we dun get to see doc frequently during cycling. Only 4 times. N only time u really need to ask question is when she explain y u need to b short or long cycle. But I still liked her cux during ER n ET, I was so Kan Cheong. She knew it n says a lot of things to distract me to calm me down.. She even joked during the ER process b4 I knocked out. She is also very gentle n careful when poking needles. As my veins are very fine, nurses dun dare put plug for me. She took over n it was totally painless n fast. Impressed!!
3) the nurses. I m all praises for them. They ate the ones we see often, teaching us etc.. N they remember all patients names! Initial Lucrin stage, I freaked out due to injection, rush to them in d morning asking for help. Broke down thr. They contorted me n told me options for future injections is to just go to them every morning for help. Nx day I manage to inject myself so did not go down. They r worried. Called me at 10am to check on me.. Everytime I ve a question, I will call them. They will either ans my question patiently on d spot or call me back within nx 30 min if they bz. I always do my scan n BT in morning, go work n wait for result. They will usually call ard 11ish to tell me result n how much more injections to buy. Cux I will only go back during lunch time, they will first get a que no for me at dispensary. Then pass me the no when I reach SGH. So I dun need que. I just need to collect Medicine from counter.. Then rush back to work..
4) waiting time for scan n BT all fast. Usually <30 min.

Yay, TGIF! I was feeling unwell yesterday and knocked out at 10.30pm! Feels so good.

Btw, she told me that she will monitor me till week 12 then I can decide which hospital I want to go to for my delivery. And that I'm welcomed to stay at SGH of course. I want to go back to my own gynae...

Hi ron, thanks. MS not really better yet, i'll be happy if it only last until 12wks, cos with the current rate, looks like it won't go away anytime soon.. This morning was the worst, as i was eating my instant oat, i vomitted back to my plate, oh so gross. But yes today was my 10wk scan and i'm so happy to see my precious babies, now at 3.6 & 3.8cm though a bit concerned now cos the next scan for me is still so far away, more than a month's away, cos my gynae will be on holiday. So i will only see him for wk15 scan! No wk12 scan, no nothing.. Apart from the down syndrome test 5oct that is, which also he won't be around to read the result, will hear it from another gynae at his O&G centre. Your scan coming next week?
Tzac, did u just go for your scan too? As normaly our schedule is quite close to each other..

My in laws had been staying with me n apparently my mother in law doesn't know what's the right food for me. She has been cooking 'xi yang cai tang', green bean soup n cut papaya for me. At times, she gave me seafood soup and white porridge with cai xin... It's either non nutritious or not suitable for me. Sometimes, she don't even cook,,
I find it very very unhealthy for me as I'm already eating outside food during lunch time at work. Can someone teach me how to make simple nutritious meal using slow cooker? So I can cook myself in the morning n eat when I return from work.... Thanks

how's everyone. I just return home from watching movie with dh and for the last 20min of movie, my cramps were so bad I really thought something was wrong. Anyway I tahan, and kept quiet (cinema only 5 min from home) and then on the ride home i lie down then dh ask what happened and i said cramp v badly. He mentioned prolly a virus passing ard as he had some gastric flu this morning or maybe I ate something wrong. But yeah it was excruciating the pain!
Spent 30 minutes at toilet bowl, also talking to bb to stay strong and praying....and oh goodnesss..........:x cramps are crazy!!!

Hi bb2012, sorry not sure how many weeks preg u r pregnant. I cook my own dinner every day ... I usually have a soup, veg, egg or fish. Soup that I drink are like 6 flavor soup, lotus root pork rib soup, abc soup, white fangus soup, black chicken soup, sometimes can b as plain as egg soup. My tcm did tell me that soup has yin and yang type. We need the yang type and u need to boil more than 3hrs to change to yang type.
For veg, I juz have it plain stir fry. Sometimes with ikan bilis or silverfish or little bit of minced pork. I would buy leafy vet such as spinach, xiao bai cai... Sometimes I m too late only left dou Miao. For fish I m v particular or should I say my bb is picky, only eat steamed cod fish and flower grouper. I would wash it put little bit of salt, seasme oil and pepper to steam it. For egg I would fry it with minced pork, tomato, or sometimes silverfish. U may think I m doing a lot but it's actually v fast... What u do is every night u prepare the ingrients for next day . In the morning b4 i go to work I cook the soup. Then put in thermal cooker. At night when I m back, first thing is take out soup from thermal cooker boil the soup and put salt. Then either steam fish or fry egg. I always do the veg last.
If I m eating alone I would juZ cook porridge dump minced meat, chicken and veg into the porridge. V nice too.

Kimmy, what movie did u watch? I watch transformer with my hubby when I was 6 week pregnant and shivering in there until he was shocked. My mum told me can't watch horror movies or action movies anymore... So far I only went to cinema to watch smurf.... Mayb the movie shock bb...

I went to watch romantic-comedy: crazy stupid love. But end up all the sappy parts I felt so emo like wanna cry like that. Hehe I think I ate something wrong, plus I also had constipation ..so probably the worse combination l ah....that's why i cramp so badly and stuck at the bowl. Phew, today woke up feeling much much better. Had a little horny dream in the morning somemore. Oops.

And told him about the thal report, then he don't be don't panic and said if dh has been tested negative all along, its probably very very very low like they detected it in dna or genetically but he don't see much of an issue unless results (which he ask me chase kk for it) show otherwise then he may send me for amnio test which I'm a bit hesitant, but we will see how. so far so good and I'm happy to pass the Oscar obstacle.

Kimmy, I use dried scallop and slow boil with red dates for abt 30 mins. After that I put in sliced and marinated chicken fillet in and continue to slow boil for 30 mins. U can put pepper and sesame oil in. When u want to eat, beat egg in and stir well. That's my egg soup. U can use ikan bilis to boil too. I m v cautious with my salt intake and I dun put salt when I can.
