It is quite disconcerting to hear of cases of MC
It is terribly sad, but guess its just nature's way of making sure that the healthy survive. When I was preggers with Kieran, we had about 25% MCs amongst the mommies in the forum, hence I am really thinking twice about informing the world about this pregnancy until it is more stable.
Meanwhile, am going to contact my gyne's clinic to bring forward the date of my 1st pre-natal appnt. I think I will die of anticipation having to wait till 18th June for mine...esp since I don't have pregnancy symptoms & don't even feel preggers or know what is happening inside

Its those cloudy discharge now. The pinky discharge went off after a few wipes yesterday morning. Hope dun come back again. I had a hormone jab too when i had the 1st pinky discharge last monday.
Hi coyote.. haha.u also very sensitive to smell .. I think its terrible and always make me very nauseas.

X - Argh, I can't even get through the clinic's phone line. Looking back at my appnt book, I didn't have my 1st pre-natal visit for Kieran's case till about week 8-9 as well.
coyote - Mine was once every month from 1st trimester till 1.5 months before delivery when it became every other week. For the last 2 weeks, it was a weekly appnt. I assume if its a higher risk case, then appnts would be more frequent.

Blue - I think its just u & me both that have yet to see the gyne. Anyway, I managed to call them & the nurse said that "Dr Tan's policy is to see patients only after week 8, unless there is bleeding." I guess I will just have to wait it out...just that hearing you all going to see your babies & listening to its heartbeat is making me impatient! But don't want to change gynes cos she is really one of the best around.
Hmm...just checked & we didn't get to see the gyne till 9W5D old the last time with Kieran. This is a photo of his 1st scan

carebeary - Kieran is 2.5 years old, & the TKD classes are for 3-5, a special class for toddlers. Its more like going to gym rather than proper lessons at this age. The school is called JH Kim, you can google them - they have about 6 outlets in total across Singapore.
For 1st time mommies - on the stuff the other mommy is selling (yunzzie) - the ones worth buying are mybreastfriend pillow & desitin cream. With the pillow, i could actually latch on & nurse & be replying emails! Ultra useful.

Hi jowinbaby: the waiting time @ Dr FOng is equally bad... usually have to wait 1-2 hrs. But i like his patience & gentleness so i decided to stick to him.
jowinbaby - LC Cheng is within the same clinic as WK Tan ya. Why don't u opt for the last appnt of the day (4.30/5pm)? I usually do that (& show up abit after the appnt time) then at least the wait is not more than an hour cos they have to close the clinic by 6pm.
On the blog, its actually done up by hubby. I asked him the same, & he says he will set one up for #2, & maintain them both till the kids are old enough to take over their own blogs (but hah, lets see. Will most probably have like 2 entries per year after a while!) Meanwhile, I have ALOT of photos of #1 in my facebook, also wonder if we will take 1/2 that many for #2. Growing up, I was the 3rd born girl in my family & yes - I have v few photos as a child compared to my 2 sisters. So poor thing

On the blog, its actually done up by hubby. I asked him the same, & he says he will set one up for #2, & maintain them both till the kids are old enough to take over their own blogs (but hah, lets see. Agree with MayC.. Desitin creamy is gd... But prices r hiked up in sg but no choice rite. When i went to States few mths bck, it was selling like 3+ 4+ usd per tube in walmart or target. Here in sgd is abt s$12. So ex here but gd... I bought the jar type whch sg do not have. About twice the tube capacity for only 8+ usd.. Il be going agn this yr n hope to stock up on the desitin tub.

jowinbaby - wow, u still end up waiting for 2 hours for the last appnt of the day? Does LC Cheng take very long per patient, hence the wait? And I thought WK Tan's was bad! Then just show up even later than appointed time?
My company has flexi work hours, so I usually just book the last slot on a weekday. Its a pain getting a cab around the 4-5pm time though.
Desitin etc - yes, i think we can all combine order for a spree for all stuff maybe towards the end of the pregnancy.

Dr Tan doesn't spend too long on normal consultations though - maybe 10-15 minutes each. Yes, TMC's parking sucks - sometimes the valets can take up to 30 minutes to retrieve your car...so each gyne appnt is a long drawn affair - spend like 2-3 hours for a 15 minute appnt!

I have told my 2 elder sister & hubby told MIL. (I am sure MIL told all her relatives by now..sigh). I haven't even told my parents yet cos they are away on holiday.
