I would like to join this thread too, hoping for a baby boy in 2011. I have 2 gals age 2.5yrs and 14mths.



For my 2 babies, i went to see a TCM Chinese Physician at S'goon North to 'tiao' my body before i conceived. The physician said she give me medicine to 'warm' my uterus, etc etc...plus lots of vitamins. Would love to go back to see her again, but she's really expensive and i was quite put off by her hard selling (only 'tolerated' coz i hope to have a smooth pregnancy).

Anyone has good TCM physicians to recommend?



Just want to ask also, in order to conceive a boy, do we bd on the Ovulation day, or 1-2 days BEFORE ovulation"?



My cycle is really long, about 38 days(!)but it is quite regular. Hopefullly can pin point ovulation day. My gynae says we need to opt for alkaline diet about 1 month before TTC-ing before trying for a boy.

Good morning ladies!

erm.. woke up so early cos i've got heavy flow.. =( feeling wet and crampy! Sigh..



Angel aka blurbaby,

are you a whitelink bride? =P



1) start taking folic acid (if you want can also take pre conceive supplements.)

2) eat healthy from now on.

3) take your basal body temperature (bbt) and observe your cervical mucus (cm) to find out when you ovulate (i.e. your egg is released!)

4) you can also use the ovulation kit to help you detect when you ovulate.

5) Make love regularly and not only on the day of ovulation (you can google for sperm meets egg plan or there are other formula available online, some even to the extent of teaching you when to bed to get which baby gender)

6) after making love, tilt your butt up (can put pillow below or if better still lean your legs against the bed, hahaa... that's what i intend to do!) for some times (some say 10mins, others also recommend 20mins)

7) there is also a recommendation to stuff tissue (lightly) to prevent the sperms from flowing out

8) don't clean up. just sleep. Haa..



ehhh.. that's all i can think of for now.. =P ladies please share your success formula too! mine is not yet tested one. haaa..
