1727, thanks so much for remembering my mom! She's recovering well. Recovery is quicker than the doctor expected. she shld be back to normal in April. [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif] She's still resting at home since moving about is posing a challenge. Dell, Re: milk storage.

I use bottles for storage in fridge (not for freezing). insterad of buying medela bottles to store, you can buy avent sealing disks if your baby is drinking from avent bottles. these can also work to store milk. this way, just have to pop the teat and cover on and warm!

I prefer milk bags for freezing cos they take less space. I've used Lansinoh and stored up to 220ml before although recommended is only 180ml. In a separate door freezer, can store up to 6 motnhs. deep freezer can store up to 12 months. normal freezer is 3 months.

chloe,

ya mkj 1 is so much cheaper. even if wanna all the photos back in soft copy oso $50 more onli. That is y i'm thinking real hard now if i shld go for mjk instead.

Re: carters rompers

Most rompers tend to be small around the waist and very long. that's why the sizing may not fit asian babies who tend to be fatter around the waist and shorter at birth. my #1 couldn't really wear most of his rompers from birth to 9 months. he was better off with separates!

Re: Placenta

I think placenta serves the purpose of bringing nutrients from our bodies to the baby, as well as bringing waste product/toxins from the baby back to our bodies. so some older folk may consider it "dirty" in a sense. scientifically speaking, it may also be "dirty". as for the benefits, may want to consider consulting independent bodies if unsure whether or not to consume, cos companies manufacturing placenta will definately say only beneficial stuff about it.

cactus, ya... i find carter's romper long n slim.

Joelle, no hard copy its ok, we can always get it develop outside. soft copy more important hee...

BabyL, Re: breast pads.

I used a combination of disposables and cloth. I used disposables initially, then changes to cloth. Ithink cloth is worth it if you plan to BF for a long time cos disposables can get expensive in the long run but think disposables shld be used together with cloth cos initially, you will want convenience.

Good morning all...

Feeling so sleepy this morning. Had severe leg cramps last night. So painful can almost cry. [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/sad.gif] Even after stretching and massaging still a bit sore this morning.

Re: Guardian underpads

I went to Guardian yest to buy the underpads and realised got 2 sizes, but dunno which one to buy. Asked the shop assistants but nobody had any idea. The $4 can anot ah? Anyone know?

poohgirl

i got the green ones.... The pharmaist told me the blue one will be too big, cover whole bed... wheras green one is half a bed....which i think is good enough

Noscon,

Oooo... thanks. I didn't notice the colour yesterday. Shall go take a look again today.

morning Mommies [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

poohgirl, try not to stretch out when you have the cramps. It's best you use the other feet to pull your toes towards you or ask hubby to help if you can't manage. the more you stretch the more strain your calves are and more sore.

just push all your toes back towards you - this will help.

Noscon,

Ah... Unity I think got special discount for NTUC card members on Thursday. There's one at Bedok NTUC. I shall go check it out as well. Thanks!

Carol,

Oh okay. Thanks for your tip!

Re; leg cramps.

thank goodness I've not gotten them yet. I thinkthey are caused by poor blood circulation but husband thinks it's lack of calcium.. don't nkow lah. I had them since start of 3rd trimester with my #1..
