Lingling, yes he got massage both my back and legs. The waist just kena today, not sure how to massage there leh. So xing ku...

BabyL,

i sleep on my left side and also experienced back soreness... try putting a little pillow on your lower back to give it some support.

oh yeah, it seems like my left leg is more prone to numbness too - i think it's kinda poor blood circulation since i keep sleeping on my left side.

LadyK, ya lor! I saw the unprocessed placenta, it does look gross and yucky! I guess I will do the capsule one.....

Alright, off work and heading home now...chat later!

for me, i do stretching on my waist to relax the muscles there... sore sore... and still got like 6 weeks to EDD! [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/sad.gif]

lingling - I dun monitor daily (suppose to be testing daily), only during check up. Self cut down on carbo and sugary stuff lor. Anyway my diet has always been quite health conscious- save for the desserts n cakes [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

serendipity, asther - had 2 links to consider mommycozyhaven but the weblink seemed to be down - someone in the forum mentioned about medical hall in tampines processing as well but i lost the address..

jonjosh - try la.. I think some pple bring home to self process but if heat is too high - burnt, then got smell somemore - capsule better la..

hmmm,

must read up more on the benefit of eating the placenta. I'm open to this idea if it can be processed ethically into capsules kekeke....hb was saying donno whether they will replace my placenta with some other things and use my plcenta for themselves muahahahaha.....

elise,

I'm still on for the pink pacifiers [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

think this link sells in 25 instead of 18 right?

and cost US1 more. That's fine with me [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

BabyL,

If u are interested in cupcakes, may I ask u to take a look at www.partypetite.com (my sis website)

wish,

it's definitely worth looking into (the placenta)

may ask my gynae for his opinion this Thurs. I think he prob doesn't believe in it :p

jonjosh,

i bet my hubby will say the same thing - basically he is quite anal abt women spending money on vanity! whats more eating my own placenta!

but if my looks gonna suffer after childbirth and i need those facial treatments, semens or collagen drinks to upkeep, i might as well invest on my own wahahaha *trying to convince herself*

i havent ask my gynae too, who knows some gynae will reject the idea.

oh well, if mine's agreeable - he gonna to be v busy lor - collect cord blood la... collect my placenta la... :p

seren,

actually there are many potential benefits but it seems like the research in this area is very new.

• Increase general energy

• Allow a quicker return to health after birth

• Increase production of breast milk

• Decrease likelihood of baby blues and post natal depression

• Decrease likelihood of iron deficiency

• Decrease likelihood of insomnia or sleep disorders

JonJosh: I actually consider to give cupcakes for full month, is ur sis have any shop so i can try the cup cakes? any package for baby's full month? i'm trying to add her at fb hehe

ladyk, i read it will reduce postpartum bleeding. i wonder if its a good thing. last i raised to elders, they asked if i m sure cos it is a dirty organ. imagine all the toxins from baby to us.

seren,

i think old folks wouldnt be receptive abt this idea bah. we all know that its not exactly a dirty organ... because it also stores/ deliver all the nutrients that bb receives from us during pregnancy! [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

stroberi,

tks for asking. My sis doesn't have a shop. She is baking at home. She has done full mth cuppies and has the photos of the cuppies in her link. Alternatively u can let her know what u want and she will try to accomodate to ur designs. She will be doing some for me too.

hi mummies, have some "silly" questions to ask abt newborn..

the tummy binder thing, is to be used before or after bb's umbilical cord falls off?

n is it ok to let bb wear rompers before the cord falls off?

cloudys,

I donno what is tummy binder for bb, i more "suaku" than u hehe.

I think it's ok to wear rompers b4 cord falls off, won't affect right? I intend to let my ger wear rompers right from the start coz i got quite a few from the carter spree [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

tummy binder is this piece of rectangular cloth that is wrapped around bb tummy to prevent wind from entering.

cloudys,

i probably use it before and after hehehe.

i think its ok to let bb wear rompers right - as long as you take care of the cord area. hehehe.

come to think of it, maybe it's more convenient to wear button down or tie string vest before the cord drops off.

Joelle,

hehehe not me.. not taking maternity shots - hubby not interested [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

Ladyk, cos my fren gave me some carters nb rompers. So small la! Scared keep too long bb cannot wear, n dun wan waste it.. Hehs.. Ks hor..

Cloudys,

yah! carters romper v small! it says 3-6months somemore! - looks more like newborn sizes to me! faint la...!!

the part that i not so comfortable with rompers is that, i thinking how to get their hands into the sleeves - bb arms so soft.... legs are still ok since can unbutton

When I buy carters from USA, I find that the sizing is bigger than those sold locally. Mmmm....

I'm collecting my studioloft shots tmr! Hehe. May go for another session on the spot if the end product is satisfactory.

Does tummy binder really work? I saw it but still contemplating to buy a not. I suppose it to be used after cord drops off.

bebe,

Thanks, but I dont think I will be getting another one as hubby says bb will not be using that for vy long. [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

Seren,

how u find the service provided from studio loft?

Carol, sigh...blame it on my cravings....was enjoying it earlier but now am suffering! I can feel the sore throat kick already....Does drinking honey helps?

a spoon of honey will [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif], organic honey will be better.

if not just take a shell of the durian and pour some water and drink from it - somebody, someone, friend...says it works.

hee i not durian lover - thankfully!

sore throat yes... my hubby caught a bug from me already! he's got running nose too...!

rent a space in PSA huh! hehehehe yah alot of things - what cot mobile, turtle pillow, BF pillow, breast pumps, steriliser... suddenly like SO MANY THINGS all inside the baby cot!

Carol, mine is not eating the durian fruit but durian milk dessert bought from food court....

Yes, I better go drink honey or salt water to clear the heatiness!

joelle

no prob, then i put in WTS [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

seren, i'll be having my bloom shoot with Studioloft next fri, 12 feb. how was the experience u had with them?

had my gynae visit today.. requested to know bb's weight, gynae said his machine not able to see bb's femur bone clearly. told him my concern about not knowing bb's weight.. he spent some time explaining to me why he doesnt measure and how bb's weight is just a very very rough estimate..he says that the measuring of the bb's weight is assuming that bb is a perfectly round sphere.. and does not take into consideration alot of things.. like bb's bone density etc.. measuring of bb's head circumference only one dimensional.. doesnt measure how long bb's face is etc.. and no head is perfectly round etc.. so he told me not to worry.. as long as bb's active, it shows that its getting enough fuel, nutrients to keep it active and all's fine. will only need to worry if movement is low.. and he measured my belly fundal height and its on par with my weeks.. feel better after he took the time to explain to me..

miracle,

glad you find some ease with Gyne taking the time to explain.

i never knew my eldest weight, not my 2nd, 3rd also the gyne never told me - normally just said "baby is growing well, all is good". That took us thru the entire pregnancy. these days the machines' are really sophisticated, watching the 3D scan in process was truly amazing - am lucky we manage to have at least one shot of that image for keepsake.

miracle,

hee hee thats true, my gynae also mentioned that its a very rough estimate. and i always see him drawing a circle around the baby - so this is how they estimate the weight! hee hee.

miracle,

u going for the shoots nx week oso? I juz booked a slot with them on nx wed. However, not sure if their service is gd as on the phone, it sounded not so friendly.
