hello mummies, I'm back from Taiwan! Had lots of fun shopping and eating. Surprisingly, didn't miss the gals much when I was away. Maybe because I did all the 'missing' while I was in Sg and I told myself since pay so much to travel, must enjoy myself and don't think about home liao. kekeke.

Too busy the two days after coming back from Taiwan so never post in forum. Also, because too busy trying to watch online the Taiwanese drama series that I was watching in Taiwan. I posted about Taiwan in my blog if anyone is keen to read.

I walked past Caesar Park Hotel, very nice, told hubby next time if we bring the gals, I want to stay there. Cosmos Hotel is very good in location but I find the rooms a bit small and got no wifi.

i have been thinking of getting micro four third cam instead of DSLR.. think so long and still dunno what to get.

I like EP1, but very ex. My fren say olympus always hang.. dunno how true. Tot of GF2, but design not as nice. NEX i dun like sony cos got bad experience with it haha. Had fun using my fren canon 500, so tempted. Of all the Micro cam, which one u will choose. Choose only 1!!

LX 5 and GF2 whats the diff??

seldom login now coz sophie was sick. she kena bacteria infection again! and was on anti biotics for 7 days till her bday on sunday. Glad she's ok now.

however, I'm not ok =( My morning sickness starts! sobs...now on MC for 1 wk and gynae said I may have thyroid....boohoo. wating for bloodtest results...

ivy: i would probably get the GF2 i think. honestly i am not too fussy abt cameras if its for leisure use believe it or not. as long as user friendly then i don't think there is any big differences btw the brands.

i think olympus has a EPL which is a cheaper version of a EP1.

LX5 is a fixed lens compact cam. GF2 is a M43 camera.

btw your enyu already 1 yr old. don't delay anymore!

gg: honestly wrong person to ask. haha. we only tried polliwog and fidgets. fidgets more things for kids this age except things looks abit worn. abbey climbs up n down our bed as well and likes to fiddle with my stuff.

ivy, i m not a mega fan of sony cameras too but nex 3's been pretty easy to use so far! in case u r interested in nex 3 or nex 5, they having free orignal battery promo till tmr.

one thing abt sony, i find it not so Macintosh friendly, but thats when i use sony many yrs ago. Now i using Fuji F31D, its good camera too.
But i know i know haha my fren also suan me, nowadays most cam quite mac friendly.

may: tats cos the camera uses the lcd to show u the scene. lcd drains batteries very quickly.

Hi Mummies/Daddies,

Need some advices regarding Cove Lights

We scheduled renovation to our resale flat after CNY 2011. We have selected an ID, and they are asking us to use Cove lights for the living room.

But i have my reservation seeing that it is not easy to clean and the lighting basis is using reflected light - we are afraid this will not be bright enough.
As we are unfamiliar with this setup, can i ask if anyone here is using cove lights at home?
How is the maintainence and lighting-wise if its ok?

jesline: was using cove lighting at my previous place. it is more for mood than actual area lighting. use it to complement general lighting than use it to light up the room. maintenance wise, it is not a big issue. i have never cleaned mine for the 5 years i stayed there and i did not have to change the tubes since i do not use it everyday. its more for those days u want to create a mood.

gg: no issues. first mrt ride? lucky baby! my daughter been on the train since the first few weeks she was born. unlucky baby born to poor family.

Mummies who are still breastfeeding, is there anyone's baby refuse to latch? Raelynn has been refusing to latch since yesterday, I can only latch her after she has fallen asleep. If it's day time, she totally refuse to latch. Don't know why.

Ginnie queen, so far I'm coping well without a maid. Can use his napping time to cook and clean the house. Everything needs to be fast so it's like racing with time. But as I'm currently preggy with no2, can't really chiong.. Energy level drop drastically as I'm at third trimester Liao. Was considering engaging a maid as I don't think I can cope well when no2 is born.. Lil Keith is turning terror! Engaging maid also headache..

anyway, i got my usual cleaning auntie to do spring cleaning for me yesterday. 11hrs straight and havent finish..!! gotta continue after we come back from hk..
