Sandy : Me &amp; My colleague are interested in the Guess camouflage shoes for our boys. Hers is 6M, whereas bb kiren is 11mth old, what size is suitable>

Size refers to the insole le... so you might want to measure bb's feet first before deciding which size and design..
 
canopyhaze.. errr... 6M should be the smallest 12cm,, whereas our bbs should be wearing 13.5cm.. best is to measure the length of the feet..
 
Roxy, how's bb ariel? Will u be free on sunday? Maybe i can meet u at jurong area to borrow ur ss soft toy. Or if u gg to the bday bash then i collect from u there? Once finish using i will return u.

Jainz : woh yr bb can really sleep 12hrs ? My bb sleep little in the day &amp; also at nite (she slept ard 9pm &amp; wake up ard 6+am) &amp; she also eat very little....these few wks dun wat to eat cereal but eat a little porridge &amp; still prefer to drink milk then to eat.....but she loves to snack &amp; eat biscuits....;p

By right bb at this age shld only drink abt 600ml of milk &amp; 2/3 solids, right ?
But my bb eat very little each meal (at least 2 meals/day) but drinks lots of milk which can be >800ml, how har ? Healthy or not ?

Oh, recently, she hv been waking up abt every 1/2hrs &amp; cry....dunno is it teething ? She cant really sleep &amp; can wake up many times in the middle of the nite....so tiring for us as still need to work the next morn....

Dunno shld I use the teething gel ?
Btw, juz apply all around on her top &amp; bottom gums, right ? Do u apply b4 bb sleep or after she slept ?

Mstan, thks! My bb also prefer milk over solid, pd says its ok coz bbs main source of nutrients still come from milk. There was once, abt 1wk my bb never take solid at all! Even now, she just take 2-3spoons of cereal only.

Teething gel, i apply on the swollen area of the gum which the teeth is cutting thru.

Has anyone seen or come across a childproofing locks for a sliding door cabinet?

A sliding door cabinet that looks similar to this

Even Safety First does not have such product it seems.

Or do you have any genius way of blocking it?

Mstan, yah my girl can zz nearly 12 hrs but in bet will wake up 2 to 3 times for milk. She doesnt nap long though, total 1 to 2 hr max.

Suddenly a flash of light came onto me and I recalled that Ah Ma used to have those portable metal lock fixed on the sliding glass of her cabinet. Maybe I can go to those 五金店 to look for it, it might serve the same purpose also.

This is the one that I am referring to:

The downside is that we need to use the key.

Hopefully the Ikea one does not need any drilling, otherwise I might end up getting this.
 
sandy.. if want to let bb wear from 11 - 18mths, which size shld i take then? as they are pre-walker and soft soles.. scared when bb starts walking, the soft soles is not enough protection for her and will easily gena sharp objects on floor.. thanks!!

roxy.. now our bb is 10-11 months le.. so you can measured the sole of the feet to determine what size you are keen..

Sandy, i cant decide what size to take leh..i agar agar measure the feet its about 11cm now? So what size shld i take if i want the shoe to last mayb til 18mths? Thinkin of letting her wear for a wedding in dec as well

If you want bb to wear till 18M.. then need to take a bigger size le.. i.e 13cm.. but will be a bit losse if to wear in Dec ya.. cos now her feet is only 11cm..

GG, there were a few BPs on helium balloons. Kidzparty, babykidworld and mummies shared links for twinkleballoons and jollyballoon. Think they sell partyware and cake toppers too. Most of the stocks from US online party sites. You can go take a look?
 
akk, ya.. there are such locks. if u don't want to buy from ikea, you can go to stores like home fix, self-fix.. it's the same mechanism. I am not sure about other brands but u can check under 'lemon'. it only costs $2.50!
