Hey mummies... I suddenly rem something from the last dim sum I haf with u girls... Carol was mentioning that we cannot buy the first shoes for our young fnds..(old pp saying) ... How about we buy shoes for each other?

For the past 3-4days shay has been waking up 4times or more a night. Morning wake up at 7am! I'm falling sick soon.. Voice changing liao. Yawn...

most of my friends dunno what is it about haha. Got one guy even say wah kinky lap dance is it -.-

been so busy, the birthday party seems happening. Mommies &amp; babies enjoy! I will be stuck busy in office for the next 3 months doing a preschool OKTO program. Not sure by then is it suitable for our baby, but mommies with older child can look out lah.

Anyway, even if my hb at home when there's a lizard or cockcroach also no use. He will join me jumping ard, screaming for help. LOL!!
 
haha.. no lah, I'm a crazy fellow who likes to think of crazy ideas.

I'm also scared of cockcroach but bo bian, sometmes have to act tough and catch it.

Usually I would use empty container to trap it.

And now u reminded me of this incident,
got 1 time hor, I left the cockcroach in the container for 1 good day and it still never die! u don't die hor, nvr mind. So I decided to try and "hiong hiong" grab it (not bare hand of course, I will cover my hand with a plastic bag) and dump it into the rubbish chute.
Yes, I did it ("bravely") eventually (I think for 1 good hour!).
After this incident, I hated "them" more. Why? Becos there's this unbearable stinky smell after opening the container.
So ladies, nvr trap a cockroach in a container and leave it overnight. I've learnt my lesson.

"These" creatures should not be called 蟑螂 but rather 臭蟑螂, oh sorry, shld be xi2 beih3 臭蟑螂.

hi mummies, i remember some time back some one mentioned there's this virus which will have fake measles &amp; very high fever one.. what was it all about huh? i think ryan has that too.. =(
his fever shot up all the way till 39.6 yesterday &amp; today..
 
WT.. fake measles appear only after the fever.. not together with the fever..

If there is spots and fever.. then you better bring bb to see a doc immediately..
 
sandy, no he hasnt got measles yet, but my parents brought him to see doc and she said the measles will appear soon.. and last for about 3 days.. so am thinking is this viral thing common? anything i need to take note of?
 
WT... oh.. the fake measles may or may not appear after a high fever de.. depends.. not to worry.. if it is false measles .. it will goes away on its own..
 
Weiting : oh, that is called roseala. My bb kana fever last Fri then start having rashes (fake measles) since Sun nite. Brought her to c doc on tue &amp; doc said no need medication. The rashes will go away after 3-5days. These 2 days really better &amp; recovering. As long as yr bb can eat &amp; drink after her fever althou with rash shld be ok.
 
weiting : if the rash only appear after the fever then shld be that roseala rash (dunno I spell correctly or not ). If u hv fever &amp; rash together then more serious better go see doc fast.
Take care &amp; let her drink more liquid/water these few days.
I made barley water (no sugar) for her to drink.
 
thks mstan, did your doc say how come will have this? so it's common at their age? your bb also so high fever? mine is 39.6 sia.. a bit scary~~ no he doesnt have rash now, it's his super high fever now and kept fluctuating.. then pd mentioned he will have rash coming out these 2 days.. that's why i think it's the same as yours &amp; i heard before some mummies in this forum mention before too..
 
yeah i think he started with throat infection too.. i thought partly it's becos he dun want to drink water.. so heaty.. went to TCM before pd, and he also said throat infection &amp; gave 'herbal tea' suitable for bb as medicine.. also got give him barley without sugar.. hope he gets well soon..
 
Akk, LOL, my younger brother is super afraid of lizards. He will not go and shower if he hears their 'clucking' sounds. I am not afraid of lizards or cockroach unless they land on me then I'll freak out. My motto is 'Live and let live'.

Luckily, my hubby is not afraid of any of the house pests. And he will catch the flying cockroach and lizards with a plastic bag then go outside and throw into the communal rubbish chute outside our flat. I refuse to let him throw into our house dustbins (dead or alive). He say he is 武松 the 打虎英雄 cos he catch（壁虎. kekeke.

did u gave the orange colour brufen also? if fever too high then must feed this leh...don always give him that pink paracetamol only.

my didi had slight fever last night too, rather kancheong, so faster fed him the paracetamol to bring down 1st...
called back earlier, he's ok, no fever. cross hands/legs/fingers...hope the fever dont come back.

thanks shryn.. i also hope he recover soon. worse thing is these few days so busy.. no time to take care of him.. my parents were the one taking care of him... at times like this i just wish im not working.. =(

yup the pd he seen last night said too high, so gave the orange color one.. said that is for fever above 38.5, but if below that then take the pink one.. last night first time 39.6, went to the pd he gave the suppository into his butt..

When I bring her to see doc last Fri, the doc said she hv throat infection &amp; fever of 38.8, so he put something into her bum to bring down her fever faster &amp; gv her the pink paracetamol &amp; another medicine for her throat infection. Then we notice she hv slight rash on sun nite, but we thought maybe will subside. On Mon evening the rashes become more so we bought her to see doc on tue. But the PD said no worries as it's roseala rash (or fake measles) &amp; it will subside in abt 3-5days. No medication is needed.
PD said that such roseala rash is common among bb ard our age, so no worries.
I did a search on internet &amp; found that such rash is indeed common so dun worry too much. U juz monitor &amp; if any usual like vomiting etc then quickly bring him to PD.
Take care of yr health too.
 
My cheeky is also down with viral infection..yesterday afternoon he got high fever of 39.1 degree, brought him to the PD..he said that temperature will fluctuate and will continue for at least 3 days..after that may follow by rashes..
This is the first time my bb sick until so serious..

He got it thru his "god grandma". Piangz why can't these adults be more responsible?? Knowing that she is unwell still wanna carry and play with my boy..my MIL didn't even stopped her..end up who suffered? My cheeky so cranky thru the day and night, still gotta check his temperature very often..I barely sleep last night..think after his turn will be my turn

wei ting, my girl got fake measles before, start with throat infection. I manage to find out she might have a bit allergy to milk, and my hubby fren say enfapro tends to cause phlegm, dunno whether should change milk or not although she has been *touch wood* quite fine.

BTW i realise i shld make good use of knowing all the babies here. If i future have any film that need to cast baby or children, i should post here! hehe.

Mummies n daddies, I hv alr made the booking.
Although there will nt b free flow pg drinks, they will ensure tat there will b sufficient for the 2 hr party.

And also for siblings, I managed to talked to them n siblings who wana go playground can pay entrance fee n will b allowed in the room. However, games n food will nt b catered for them.

There will b free day pass for each paying child as well. So they can go n play for free another day.

Anything can SMS/call my hp at 91053549.
