my boy loves the tomica type, they have lots of design, buy until we can start a collection now then plus tracks etc.....aieeeee...

U can also buy yobaby yoghurt from cold storage.
It's organic one but I find it abit Exp. $11+ for 4 small tubs.

Cala, we were talking abt the mass birthday celebration during the gathering rite? So anyone has suggestion? Maybe do it in a condo function room so to save up on venue rental then we do pot luck?

Ains, how was nn's slp last nite? I'm tired waking up few times a nite. Still hoping it'll be over soon.. Wonder how did i survive for 9mths. LOL!

Brushing teeth - i've been using first toothpaste & pigeon tooth brush to brush shay's teeth. But one sales lady in vitakids say i too kiasu.. She say only 2 teeth no need to brush laa! Then laugh at me.

karen: ya ya, we should have them in a function room or maybe rent Hort Park function room for less than $200. If can have 20 mummies, only $10 per mummy. As for brushing, I started brushing bb's teeth since 4 months too! With First Teeth toothpaste and Pigeon brush as well. So i am kiasu too! lol

Cala, maybe the vitakids sales girl not from spore.. Coz we sporean tend to be kiasu. LOL!

Mass birthday celebration - since evon has been offering to provide her sis condo function room beside e pool for gathering, then maybe we can use the place there? Evon u ok?
If not then Hort park also a good place.. All mummies can start voting for the venue. We welcome more suggestion.

Oh ya, anyone gave bb yu ren seng si Shang brown rice? Need to slow cook like rice or jus cook over stove like cereal?
And also anyone gave bb oats yet? I went cs n bought organic baby oats, duno if can give bor? Jus cook over stove too?

I'm using the pigeon toothbrush too.
My boy suck it like eating lollipop instead of open his mouth to let me brush his teeth *faintz*

U can grind the oats into powder then cook it with water over the stove. cooked in 8-10mins till the water is being absorbed.

Alternatively, you may also cook the oats in slow cooker juz like rice porridge. This don't need to grind n I find it nicer...
Usu I slow cook it with apple n pear.

yup i gave Baby Faith yu ren seng si Shang brown rice before. Just need to add water and cook over stove can liao.

But my baby prefers porridge more than that brown rice powder.
My MIL will slow cook her porridge with pumpkin and add leaves of "vege-of-the-day".
Maybe its more delicious than the brown rice cereal bah.. cos more effort mah.

Bbshea- haha. I tot it's for next gathering.. So it's first yr gathering ar.. Kekee.. Anyway, think they shd be able to stand la, but function rooms got chairs n all.. So nt do bad.. Prob some bb knw hw to walk le lor... But my cousin only starting walking at 18 mths!

So far, I only gave Ashton porridge w liao also.., and using veg or meat stock to slow cook... He always finished it.. Today I'm giving him pasta...

Ains, motorbike engine. LOL! U funny ley. Go kitchen get a few clothe peg might help. Kiap nose, kiap mouth then see noise come out from where? If still noisy, kiap until no sound! Haha.. ;p

I used to gv oats during dinner before he started to reject oats.
It doesn't matter which meal to gv.
I thk breakfast will be good but I have not started giving solid for bkfast.

Actually u can try substituting rice grain with oats (or a mixture) and cook it the way u cook porridge. Ang mo uses oats/millets for their porridge.

Can i know where u bought and what brand is it?

Cos Faith din have any reaction to it, so i assume she can consume that without worrying she will break out in allergy..
im thinking of buying for her and let her try more. =)

And you mentioned organic products.. Sorry im not very familiar. Do you mean there is a baby food brand "Organic"? or just any baby brand that produces 'organic" foodstuffs?

Hey jes, that fish biscuit is from Pigeon. Packaging is blue in colour. The organic cereal brand is Organix. Can be found at Vitakids (paragon, united square, forum) n some cold storage.
 
shokel...the tonka wheel pal cars are from hasbro.
u can get them from isetan, bhg, metro toys section.
Look for the 'redder' section, HASBRO brand toys.
The packaging for their toys are majority in red colour.

Karenkkl - I brush my boy gum since he' a month old..but now as he gets older, got more difficulties, don't let me rub his gums and brush his teeth..he don't like the pigeon toothbrush, I bought the rubber toothbrush for the finger from 1st few years..

The birthday bash sounds good..but I think a place for them to be able to crawl around wld be good..let us all rack our brains for the venue...
 
cherlene, wa.. u started brushing so early? When there is no teeth? Before shay grow teeth, i use gauze to clean her gums. Only after her teeth pop out then i started using brush. She loves & enjoy brushing teeth thou.

Cala, gym sounds fun for the kids! Btw, the function room evon offered has a baby pool in front. So there is also entertainment. Up to u all to choose, i'm ok with anything.

Milk Formula - I'm helping my neighbour to sell off her grandson's milk formula. Old lady dunno where to sell, so she ask me to help post online. She has the following to let go:

ainsley: i dunno if this works, but my hubby sometimes 'on engine' too, and i feedback to him.He was surprised cos he doesnt know.
He feels v. paiseh abt it one.

He asked me to nudge him or 'shake him softly' each time he have sound, so that he will change his sleeping position.
Then the engine sound will stop.
So far, it works leh.
