Charlene, u got the exact same prob as me!!! But I kept trying to let my boy take the avent one or not take at all.. After few days of trying, slight improvement only.. Will continue to try..
My sis no problem of switching his boy from step 2 pigeon to step 3 pigeon.. So gd.. Sighz for my case.. Guess we just gotta keep trying..

Veronica- I give the medicine my PD gave sinupret syrup..he is better already..but my mil used to give him "pa bao" powder..think it also works, just that last week he got fever and cough so I bought him to the PD..
Cayenne- at least u can still try, mine refused to even let me try, just keep crying and tossing until i gave him his old 1 back..Trying the avert 1, think it's better but still after awhile still make noise to look for his old 1.. But seriously I think e pigeon step 3 quite big, that's why maybe they don't like..ya we gotta keep trying..I only let him take when he is going to sleep..

My collegue pass me a Chinese powder I'm nt too sure wat dAt but it work wonder.. Flu cough phlegm all solved within days man

wow 500ml water is a lot! GG, i think my boy also ~30ml/day nia.. or less..
charlene, cayenne.. i use NUK pacifier.. no problem to switch from 1 to 2.. he loves his pacifier!!

thanks skinney.. see how, maybe i start showering him at a later stage... my boy also dont like to drink water now, sigh~~~ he will just 'buu' everthing out if i spoonfeed him & if i feed him by bottle he will use his hand to brush the whole bottle away to make it fly~~ shall attempt to use the mag mag cup to feed him again..

wt, I also showering zach now cos i m too lazy to set up the tub but i put non slip mat on the floor. Then again, I think zach is used to showering cos his prev ifc does that.

BB kiren is having fever this morning, it hits 38.3deg before i left for work, sianz~ don't know y he is sick cos we never go out leh, I thought he is teething but no other teeth sprutting out leh except for this 2 bottom teeth whih are out since 1mth+ ago. Rushing back to see bb during lunch. Hopefully he can recover before we go bali in a few days' time.

Anyone bathe bb in big bathtub? I duno whether to brg over her small bathtub over to my new Hse ant leh.. Or jus bathe her in the big bathtub will do..

lynn: yup muz be white background. I went to those kodak shop & my gal didnt smile so e photo not nice! haha.....but i didnt bother to re-take. muz wait After 5 yrs den can change passport....

Hi Lynn, yes. the backgrd must be white.
If you apply via the internet, online by APPLES, the instructions are there.
The ICA site also have an online tool to help you to crop your picture to fit the ICA standard.
My hubby did it within 15 mins last night =)
I cant wait to get Faith's first passport. hehe.

1xmumm: yup after 5 yrs need to renew passport. Mayb ICA will ask us to update baby's pic by sticking a updated pic after 2 yrs? not sure....
May... jus o let u kw, if u make appt on weekend be prepare to wait for abt 1hr cos weekend many pp even got appt time. Jus take note.

Evon, I'll go check out. I use Ikea bath tub that is non-slip so didn't get any additional mat. thanks!
evon, thanks for the advice.. good thing i didn't choose weekend in the end, cos i was also scared later will be too rushed to go calamari's house and also thinking of cooking new food for zach. Gg to study the receipe book on sat morning.

if you want i cant pass you some to try. Coz you just have to give a small bit to bb...like lip balm that qty....
may - im going to buy the annabel book for bb...hopefully now i dun get stress up wat to cook for him n whether will he reject....

sigh~ the bathtub my hb bought from MBS is too big for my toilet. Now gotta go and buy new one and hopefully can find a buyer for the old one.. =(

Mummies, nw nn ah will always tries to struggle when carry her to come down to b on the floor when we r outside... Think she wana explore lor n She will give her signature high pitch scream if she is nt able to come dwn. Headache headache.,
Sarah- I have got no chance to ask the PD regarding this.. My boy got new pattern again, knock his head against my head and gosh my head is painful but he seems not to have any reaction.. Really don't know what to do..don't know whether he is by nature mischievous or what..
Lynn- actually the last time I submitted the photo, it was not white background ..it wasn't rejected, and in the end I managed to get the passport. Mayb ICA also take into consideration that it is not easy to take picture for baby..

I'm still using bathtub for my no. 2 too. Worse, no. 1 sees Mei Mei using the bathtub and she has regressed from showering on non slip bath mat to the bath tub.
sarah, have u checked her receipes online? the recipes are about the same, just that her book got a little bit more info about how to store and how much time to put in oven, set what temp etc. I bought the book cos i must have smth in hand n hope u enjoy her food as much as zach and i do.

my fren's kid is now on mixed feeds..
Shokel, it feels like he is full. My boy doesnt usually bite (he "bit" mroe when he had no teeth, thankfully), but if i force or "encourage" him to latch longer than the few mins he is on, he will kick and kick and bend his rubber body backwards upside down until i cant hold him properly.. or crawl away. cant do anything..

seeing you gals' reaction and your "reports" of your babys drinking amount make me feel assured.. one mum i met even told me my baby skinny and her baby chubby cuz her baby likes to drink water
ok, then i just let him drink whatever he wants.. cuz like shokel, i also feel he doesnt take much bm thats why want him to drink at least 50ml water a day.. cuz he occassionally kek sai until face turned red.. seems i am abit harsh to him

may i prefer showering baby too.. cuz now my toilet is cleared of the bathtub and stool!! yay.. and ya, no need to set up the bathtub so troublesome.. anyway, he also dun want sit inside.. make me kan jiong.. then without bayhtub he kept wanting to squat or sit on floor.. so ironic

As baby grow and his look had changed, u will need to remake the whole passport again at the same cost. they don't allow u to just change the photo only. So I would suggest to u, only make baby passport if you are bringing baby to travel, if not another $70 gone.
Recently I just change my #1 passport cause of his photo, its only 2 years and his look differ from his bb time.
Btw ains, can u send me dolly address, might be able to get down on sat to meet up with u gals.
