I would like to ask if you have let your bb take the chickenpox vaccination? I just got a sms from my clinic informing me to bring my bb for this jab, will it cause fever? or up to individual? Now she is still coughing, so hesitating now...

I went for my last jab for HPV at my gynae last sat and she said that I can start trying for 2nd baby if I wan a rabbit baby. Hubby is very excited but I told him Nov den start trying. haha. Coz I dun wana start my morning sickness feeling so fast. I wana enjoy my gal's 1st yr party w/o the pucking feeling. I counted....wah muz conceive by April 2011 den edd will be in Dec '11 for rabbit baby. If not will be dragon already......

I think cfm i will need to hire a maid if i have no. 2.....1 child still managable on my own for now.
 
Gg- I think Bp got sell thermal wear for bb, I buy float from her before! But me let bb wear swim diaper w trunk tt time when I went wild wild wet...
Btw, anyone been to anchorvale cc swimming complex? Those staying near ss, any comments? I think there got slides n all for kids like wild wild wet too...

Cala- I bought the cubes cheese... Mixture one leu, got cheddar , blue n plain .. U jus give LQY w the cheese as finger food or got mixed w purée?

Miu- I baked salmon w orange juice also.. Nt so fishy lei.. U can try... I think best nt to microwave bb food.. No gd lei... Steam or pan fry I think ok ba? Tt time I also pan fry w olive oil for his beef pasta... Smells gd lor!
 
miu, whr u buy the cod from? i buy from cold storage also fishy....i sign off liao. can steam the fish for chub ma. like wat shokel say,i tink raw food best dont micro cause some ppl say is no good wor...forget the reason liao but to heat up cooked food is oki kua..u can try place gingrt slice n steam wiv d fish...by rite fresh fish if steam on its own wont b fishy wan de...wil b sweet le
 
Shokel - Hahhaa! Me too, still breastfeeding but havent go back to pre-pregnancy weight. But I think hor, if I stop breastfeeding, I will grow fatter!!! Hahahaha!!
 
wow all the cooking expert here ...made me feel so bad coz i din seem to cook much variety for my gal ...alway porriage with fish and potato, carrot ...i think she start gettig bored.

DecMum, i din know that got to give chickenpox vaccination before 1 year old but i think is optional..

congrats to all mummies who r pregnant ..i loved to be pregnant again too ...haha but my hubby dun wan No.2 so soon ...coz now one already got problem coping ...haiz.

btw anyone registering for childcare next yr? any good one to recommed?
 
oh ya...my gynae said for my 2nd pregnancy I need to go thru c-sect too =( SAD! coz my gynae scared my wound rapture....tot i can try natural birth....

will they cut on the same wound again? if not 2 scars right?

Jus to share w u... Mine both kids are 18mths diff, will be very tiring for u if no maid as the older one still very young to really understand what u wan and need from him lol.. They said is better to have like 2 yr gap that is the best.
 
Canopyhaze.. Think shld be okie ba... But think then ur #1 will be very super sticky to u cos have u heard of pp saying the terrible 2? Aiyo u will be very busy and quick temper too cos #1 will alway wan your attendtion then later he wan thsi and that lol. But maybe diff mummies got diff exp la...
 
alicia... can try VBAC for no2 but no3 cannot le... dat time i wanted to try VBAC and gynae was very encouraging.. mei xiang dao, got abit small contraction, bb heartbeat drop already and gynae told me csect!!! haiz.. no chance to try natural birth one of my biggest regrets....

canopy.. like wat evon said, its very very tiring. And during pregnancy period when no1 is at cutest age (1 yr - 18mths), u wun be able to spend much time with no1 as cannot carry bb n u'll be feeling so tired... my no1 and no2 are 18mths apart.. i also striked no2 when no1 was only 9mths old and i kinda regret missing out on his cute period... year wise they are only 1 yr apart.. and its really very tiring!!
 
roger... my gynae says as long as get preggy after 9mths of csect op, can try no2 and we very guai, we waited till 9mths to start trying hahahaha we were just fortunate to strike during first try n got our desired gender also... 4d also not so zhun!

Alicia: hope u can maintain weight. Cos when I stopped breastfeeding for my no. 1, then start to put on weight again. For no.2, me still trying to lose weight while not compromising on my diet. My 2 births are csect. 20 months apart. Gynae cut same spot. I believe u still can try VBAC.
 
Any mummies have difficulty feeding ur bb? My girl like to grab e spoon, grab e food, play with her saliva by puuing all e food out! Makes the whole feeding process so messy. Is this common?? Or my girl noti? Tried to discipline her but she is too young to understand i think!

btw, if want to aim correct gender... BD on or after O for boy and BD at least 2-3 days before O for gals and no more... the reason is that gal sperms swim slower but survives longer inside womb...and boy sperms swim faster but die faster inside womb... hence if you BD before O, by the time you O, majority should only be left female sperms... we tried that and it works for both no1 and no2 gender
 
Alicia, nw there is a new guideline for gynae alr leh. Can try natural Birtg even thou u c-sect previous time. U ask ur gynae abt it..

Yuki, chickenpox is nt compulsory. Bt I will let nn take when she turns 1. It together with other jabs. Duno hw many in-1 kind. Lol

Shokel, u still total latch ash? Recently I started co-sleeping with nn n latch her lying down.. N ah, these few days she v reliant on latching leh. Sigh~ I unlatch, she will wahhh, neh neh, Neh Neh... Ash will b like tat?

mayb you ask your gynae to let you try natural birth 1st. My fren said her gynae told her after duno hw many hours of trying must go for c-sect liao. Let me know if you wana know more. I go ask my fren.

Maybe pumping will shed more weight coz of the constant washing + sterilising etc. i duno...
 
Alicia, she's a caring dr but i find her scan machine too old. She told me my bb was abt 3kg at birth but in e end, my girl was 3.7! In e end had to emeg csect coz my pelvis was too small. Initially she told me my pelvis shld b wide enough n i would hav a fast n easy delivery. Sigh, so me n hubby decided for our no.2 next time, we will switch to another gynae.

mine was exactly 2 yrs of age gap..so far, i'm surviving without helper or part time cleaner.

my eldest goes childcare & my youngest with my inlaws while i'm at work. they will be back with us on every weekdays night and weekends & public holidays. Though abit siong but still able to cope & manage. My hubby do play a part in managing the boys too so still not so bad.

but with an extra helping hand will be good so you could have a little me or couple time. Actually i'm so used to having my kids around doing everything with us, if they are not around, i'll be starting to miss & think of them, cant even leave them to go dating or holiday-ing with hubby alone.. Silly me right :p:p

re exercise
actually we can eat all we want but we jus haf to exercise to cut off the fats. i v lazy. i think i lazy for more than a decade oredi. haha. i think i m in pretty good shape. round is a shape too! =D

alicia there are gynaes who are pro vbac while some prefer otherwise. told my gynae i wan to try vbac and he is v encouraging. he even say if kena before safety period is up, nonid fear rupture. jus need close monitoring during pregnancy..

aiya, for me, give up liao lah...
i hve been a rolly-polly since young.
gee... anyway, being a glutton, i've been giving myself a v gd excuse to indulge in watever i like to eat - i m stil breastfeeding, so cant diet. haha... ;p
 

I need personal trainer or else I can't get to do it one. Hubby n I are super nua...rather laze than exercise. Also for fitness purpose, both must lose weight. I was so inspired by my friend who engAged him. I met her yesterday at a fren's bday party I got a shock when I saw her. She lost 15kg in 4 months!!! N look so much younger. So immediately ask her for the contact lol!
