miumiu, hehe, no lar, I cook lemon & parsley baked salmon for my no. 1 to eat. For the baby, we just put salmon into her porridge instead of threadfin once in a while.
Today ikea photoshoot was chop chop! Funny thing was majiam cheering team like that. All waving toys n trying to get my boy to smile but he simply gong gong look at camera. Haa.. And once again they tot I haf a bb gal. Haha

Hiyo my boy still needs his fish to b blended b4 he will take! Grr.. But if I gif him pasta or rice grains then he will happily chew chew chew. Sigh..
Miu u can try steaming if no oven.. Put orange or lemon that time jus put the zest can oredi. The pith which is the white part of the rind will gif slight bitter taste when put to cook

Shaine, I know of 2 persons who tailor/sew mummy/girl sets, u can select their fabric and tell them what design u looking at. They have uploaded quite a few sets on fb. let me know if u are keen and I can share with u...their work on fb.

may,my gal also got funny taste buds le,normally the yang shen xu we dun like cos bitter ma.i will add honey to sweeten.but since she cant take honey yet,i gav it to her plain and she likes lor!!!normally she dun like to drink water,she will giv me a disgusted look if i feed her plain water. but she keep drinking the yangshen water hehee...btw hows ur marketing? got ur cod boh?
carol, zach like to drink the bitter concoction too. I think they don't know what bitter is. Haha.. oh, in the end, I didn't go because I used up my avent cups/storage space last night.
My mil bought me a big box of strawberries last night, so i decided to make fruit puree out of it. But i steamed too many, so i decided to make strawberry porridge out of it and the portion was so huge that there were 5 portions of 100ml. End up got storage problem.. plus he still got fish puree, so decided not to cook the chinese porridge today.

Actually I used to dun like the idea of a maid staying wif me but now tat I have one. I tink it's great! She's really great help n I have much more time to myself!!

yunzz,i gave cherries to chloe b4. i peel skin and cut into small pieces.i stopped steaming her fruits after 6/7 mths le
so far oki le..touch wood. sometimes i will hold the cheery in my finger n let her suck as she likes to bite. but must hold very very tight in case she suck tthe whole pit in.den dun let her suck too long cos scared the pit kena suck in by her n choke!

for me, at the moment, i only hire part time domestic helper to clean up the house. We are able to manage the rest of the stuffs by ourselves. I find it very troublesome to have maid because we are always not at home and i think it's so costly to bring her out with us. i.e. we usu go out for drinks on weekends, so where do i put the maid? bring her out and also pay for her drinks?? or let her stay at home alone??? we won't know what she is up to at home.

GG : Yup, bb kiren will wear a small swim trunk, and a thermal suit when he goes for his swim. I've bought the trunk from baby fair @ expo last time, and the thermal suit is a hand me down from his cousin. the brand is called "Konfidence", i believe it is from Kiddy palace.

i brought baby swimming yesterday. no swim diaper, no swim suit, jus wear romper and diaper and neck float and in he went! lol. he enjoyed it after he overcame his fear
there were 2 other babies, one was fully geared, the other one like mine just wearing normal clothes ;p

miu: ripe avocados are black and slightly soft to the touch. The ones they sell in supermarkets are usually green and hard. Dont put them in fridge as it will take an even longer time to ripen. I scrape out the flesh, blend and feed bb. No need to steam lah haha. My LQY likes it

I fed bb chawanmushi n salmon porridge today! Wah Heng ar, he likes it... Spend so much time preparing n cooking the veg stock everyday.. Eat porridge So much more wk... Cereal so easy!! Heehee...

yunzz, both are from doctor's too. they have 1 mild, 1 medium and 1 very strong one. if the mild one doesnt work, can get the stronger brand.

skinney, i think it's not so good to wear diaper cos if baby shit, the poo might spill out as opposed to wearing swim diaper or baby swimming trunks. It will containminate the water.
GG, if your baby can adapt to water w/o thermal wear, normal swim suit with swim diapers/trunks is ok. I bring my baby down to the pool since he was 6-7weeks old. He wears a swimming trunk and is ok w the cool water. If too cold, he will cry tho.
