ainsley: ya, go japan shiok lor.. tt time sq promo, we paid less than $2k for 2pax i think... ya, must go gotemba, i spend 1 day there lor!!!! prada/miumiu is cheaper! and viviene westwood is also cheap there, in HK is quite popular this brand.... and some japan brands!!!

europe/paris : so shiok! my frd in paris now, i ask her to chk chanel bag price for me!!! heheheh...

flight stewardess: isit carol??? she used to be isit? did i rem correctly...? hahah...

ainsley, the journey isn't that far. I guess I'm using to taking long rides in Japan.. 80min by express bus is one of the faster options. I used the Japan Rail pass to go there via train initially and it took me 3.5hrs! Good thing my bb was ok w the ride. he took many hours of bullet train, normal train, subway & ferry during our last trip... hee

yunzz, now u know why i switched from going hk to going japan in june.. to think that I was planning to go europe on maternity leave. Heng never book, else it will be the 2nd consecutive year of cancelling. I'm hoping that zach will be a savvy traveller and that I can bring him for longer haul flights next time.
 
*sigh*.. May .. hb said bb too small.. don't travel.. so till now lor... and i can't leave bb behind de.. and that time MIL was sick.. so we didn't go anywhere till now.. #3 out le.. I told him next year can go liao bo.. he said see how la.. *faintz*... *sob sob*

cayenne.. no need to wear anything de on top of this TP.. is like a pullup pants.. for toilet train purpose.. easier to pull up and down... and let bb has a sense of wetness if they wet themselves..
 
may: i need time with hubby...its been 3 years since both of us have been alone on holiday!

yunzz: i love freezing temperatures keke...and i very hiao, love to dress up and depreciate my winter wear! I am on UOB or SQ mailing list, so found the promo through my mails.

yeah! SQ having promo now..price comparable to the uob-sq promo..
but i realised tat the flight timings are pretty bad!
it will touch down in tokyo at 11.05pm and by that time no limousine bus liao..
any idea wat time does the train operate until?
 
yunzz: for the UOB-SQ promo for Taipei, I actually managed to save about $200 per ticket...as compared to the SQ sweet deals price now.

As for traffic and weather, I guess we will handle that when we r there. The fun of travelling unplanned!

Yunzz, nn's birthday Is on 28/11. Planning to b at hello kitty land in tat day. Actually nn oso Duno or dun rem. So it's oso for my #1... she loves hello kitty.

May, wah, bus for 80mins ah. Dun think nn can take it lor. She's alr ehh ehh throughout The journey fr orchard to Tampines..
 
yunzz.... anytime as long you are comfortable.. or like some now having a hard time trying to put on diaper for bb cos they flip n flip.. so instead of change to pullup.. to TP.. more economical..

sigh...my last vacation with hubby was during our honeymoon to europe in dec 2008...the weather was so shiok! i miss paris! u ladies enjoy shopping there hehe
 
ooo yes europe + cold cold weather is shiok de lo! i wan to retire in siena or florence! haha.. the last time i went was in jan 08. wanted to go back but then last time own biz hard to take time off. i missss travelling! my annual short getaways oso kena shelved to dunno when le.

go travel w bb like v mafan leh. must pack this pack that. go w hb only will miss bb! so cant get myself to make any travel plans cos bb is too attached to me and vice versa! salute to those mamas who can travel w baby in tow! cala lagi best.. with TWO!

ainsley, ohhh... ok. Nn comes first, before shopping.

yunzz, the train operates till quite late, ard midnight. Maybe the flight schedules for better timings aldy got sold out. They have been running promo for haneda flights for very long. Hehe.. maybe next year our families can go europe together. I wanna use up my miles man..
 
luwen, you don't have to worry so much about packing cos the hubby carries anyway.. hee

oh yah, one thing about bringing kids for holidays is that they will get post holidays blues (very unbelievable). My bb cried for 2 days STR after coming home, as though he found it very bored to be at home. Not only do I hve to cope to post-hols blues, I also had to entertain the 5mth old's blues. -_-

janiz: i did Glenn Doman for no.1 for 5 months and gave up. Need to be very very extremely disciplined wor. Only probably suitable for SAHMs but many of my SAHM friends also gave up. My no.1 basically lost interest after 5 months and refused to look at the cards hehe.
 
yunzz... some commented can hold 2 urine.. but also depends how much bb pass urine ya..

As for poo poo... like normal cloth diaper.. soak first.. before wash..

May.. hm.. I have no idea whether ifc allow bo.. you may want to check with the Teacher there..

Wei ting : Plan for short trip first la since this is bb's first trip. Am going Bali with hubby and bb in Sept during the F1 period, as I wanna avoid the traffic jams @ my workplace during that period, will be there for 7 days. Just managed to get tickets last week; and has arranged hotel to cook porridge for bb so don't need to bring tomm much stuffs. Hopefully he will behave during flight. =)

Calamari….i will be a SAHM soon so I thought of DIYing with bb to better utilize my time haha…if not hubby will ask me go back work! hohoho
anyway I flash the math dots cards that I bot and Kayla (same name with ur no. 1 hehe!) seems to luv it…I flashed those b&w pic cards and she dun like…that’s one of the reasons y I chose GD instead of shichida
Did u buy or DIY the flash cards? GD recommends 4”x22”. The cards v big leh?!! that means the wordings i have to write till super big!
 
janiz: i bought the cards..eng, chinese and maths. Then sold it all away keke. (btw, i had a bad experience selling the cards cos some people really cheapo..buy 2nd hand stuff, but expect 1st hand condition :p)...Yes, the cards very big and many cards leh! Got storage problem. U shd buy a Toyogo box to store them lol! Good luck in the GD method. I believe it works...just I got no patience

calamari : yes, has informed Hotel that we're bringing a bb with us, and they have confirmed will cook for bb but has yet to check with them on the ingredients, but we did mention that no seasonings to be put in the porridge, probably will check with them when we arrival. Can't wait for this short getaway. =)
 
Canopy, the hotel sounds very nice to help u cook baby food.

I intend to let my bb eat the same food as us for our hk trip end of year. Do the restaurants add alot of seasoning in their porridge?

Btw, wanna check w mummies here on whether u all got lobang for hk Disneyland hotel?

May - so fast let bb eat same food as adults? i feel tat outside porridge alot fo seasoning leh. if really eat outside food, i rather choose soup noodles and only give the plain noodles! :p (soup also alot of seasoning)

I also travel freak and last time dun hv any help, thus lug baby everywhere i go.

Europe really the best. I went there for 5-6times.. diff countries each time and yes, i love COLD! WINTER! my fav! :p

Cala - I love spain leh! such a nice place!
