Hi rhyea,

I'm new too and I'm a daddy. I hv asked a similar question before too, as in how to keep my angkuku occupied. 1 sugg here is to give him a beach ball, which I hv not tried yet.

For now he likes to self-entertain himself with his own drumstick (hand) and we have been busy trying to pull his hand out.. so probably he is feeling "happy" as in we are always there to "play" with his "drumstick"?! :D

But he gets cranky soon after (maybe didn't get to enjoy much of his "finger-linkin good") and we end up carrying him around..

I am also hoping to find a toy that will make him self-entertain for ages.

Eh, beach ball how to play with him? Put him on it and roll?

So far hor, I think only the cot mobile is my savior. He can look at it for almost 20 mins when he's in a good mood. But seems very passive leh. He just lie there and look.

Anyone bought exersaucer? Is it worth it? Was at the expo baby fair just now and saw the evenflo ones. Very expensive leh, if he doesn't want to play, I'll be sim tia....
 
Oh yeah forgot to mention, ivy/terence, you were looking for baby monitor right? Just now I checked it out at the expo fair,
Philips analog one going for 119 (RP: 139) got two other models 510 and 530 going for $159 and $229 if I recall correctly. Doesn't seem very cheap leh. In the end, I didn't buy, waiting for the philips carnival sale. :p

There was also a Lindam baby monitor for sale at $89 (RP:129)
 
Mummies and daddies, just to let u know ntuc now got offer for baby products and diapers... Brands like nepia, mamy poko, huggies, pampers... Drypers...
 
rhyea, I think just inflate the beach ball and put in front of him, or even on top of him. It is light and shld be fine. But don't use bowling ball hor.. hehe.. kidding ya..

Hi ladies, been so bz with work so haven been following closely... Btw anyon had gone to the baby expo fair??? Any good buy? Thinking of going down tmr if there's any gd buy ;)
 
The expo sale was quite small leh and not that many booths compared to the March one. Saw drypers, huggies and goon on sale there. Didn't take note of prices since my boy doesn't use those but don't think it's any better than what the supermarket sales.

Toys also not much. There was a small corner with munchkin toys and taf toys. Oh yeah, mumsfairy and small small world were there also.

I see more people with lots of loots from the Harvey Norman sale lor. There's also metro and borders sale there. Borders not much selection of books and not cheap also. Haha, I only came home with some chocolates from metro. Wanted to buy the carlson wipes (3 for 5.50) but baby was fussing by then, so we left liao.
 
Cayenne I stay at Tpy n on leave today. Ice 11am I at pontian wanton mee, not nice... Then went downstairs singtel cos Terence finally decide iPhone, din see anyone with blue sling leh, u got go vitakidz?

Rhyea, u can stay here if u like we got a few late nov mom her too including our sleepless Ainsley hehe.

Rhyea thanks for report on expo, I wanted to go today one but my pd tell me try to keep my girl at home so only went marina sq osim to get my air purifier filter. Osim mother's day got promotion.

Angkuku corny corny. U go join my hubby company n can talk rubbish with him then he dun hv to come talk to me corny stuff n force me to luff hoho
 
mstan, I hv also tried to find the Enfalac A+ small tin before, can't find it at ShopNSave, NTUC nor Carrefour..

ivy, no leh.. din went to the vitakid.. i went to toys r us sale, then to the main toys then to ELC n back to toys r us sale.. :p
 
ivy : fm really depends on individual bb.
I tried similac but recently think bb dun really like as think she still prefer bm....;p...so thought of changing brand to see how lor as my ss cant meet her dd so hv to supplement....;p
 
Nn has been slping for abt 2 hrs alr. I m still with Phoebe, drawing with her... Hope tonight is a peaceful night... Wish mr luck. Lol

Enfa got no small tin, I am feeding ryan enfa now but thinking of changing already cos constipation not getting any better. Wanna trial and error other brands of fm..

Ivy and angkuku, thanks so much I managed to get the buckle belt from kiddy palace already. Went toa payoh to order this afternoon and collect from sengkang just now. Service staff damn good, even offered to help us to screw on... Heehee.. At least I don't need to buy a new pram for now..

Thomas, if I wanna buy the irobot from u, when can I collect the earliest?
 
Weiting, 3 of us get wat we need hooray, n kiddy palace staff really quite good hor. btw enfa got enfalac or enfagrow right? Friso n new dumex mamil got prebiotics suppose to help stomach thus poo easier?

Thomas so ur irobot got cheaper version?

any mummies after your go back to work..babies schedule change? my girl used to wake up at 3-4am ever since i go back to work she will wake up at 2 and want to feed..cos she will cry if she dont latch.... 2 nites already... before that she wake up she will take pacifier then ok already.. dont know whether it is a phase or not... very tiring.. these 2 nites i just konk out on the bed after putting her to sleep .. then wake up in the middle of the nite to pump or latch.. super tiring.. but she is still drinking normally in the day.. feel like giving up breastfeeding also.. cos got to wake up to pump n before pumping still need to wash and steam the parts

i think nan ha not bad... at least not that sweet but i also stop giving cos she mostly on ebm ..then very hard to use finish .. always got to throw away.. very wasted..

i going fullerton tom! celebrate 2nd year wedding anniversary.. finally some time off haha .. but my poor mil got to take care of rachel .... oh but got to pump.. after pumping we put in the fridge of the hotel ok one rite? .. i think i got to resort to using hot water to wash the parts hor? cos no steamer there.. want to go enjoy also need to think of all these hahah
 
Morning.. Bb woke up 11pm n I took her out of cot to give medication n bottle feed 160ml, woke up 5am Terence put pacifier n slept. 6am I think she really wanna eat liao cos crying, feed her n now pumping.

Faith it's ok to worry all this cos at least u dun hv to worry bb hehe. Me Terence know each other 9yrs, rom 5yrs ago, marry 3yrs, no romance liao. So u n hubby must enjoy the romantic times whenever u can ar.

Ivy, nn finally woke up at ard 2.30, slp fr 8.45... then woke up ard 5+ n nw wake up eyes big big Liao... Considered nt bad le la, compared to the previous night of waking up every 1-2 hrs. Bt I could only slp at 11+ cos gtta acc Phoebe to draw. arghh.. Lol

hey mummies, I have not been following the thread, can check with u all, do u all cont to give bb bm when u r sick?
Now I having dry cough, wondering whether i shd give or not. N my mil give me "ying2 qiao4" some kind of chinese med in tablet form to eat. Ate liao will my bm be affected? My bb is on tbf, havent give him fm for like v long liao. Any advice?
 
hey twin stars can give .. but your medicine must be pure kind or something like that.. then give.. cos doc say got antibotics to baby so ok..

mstan888.. i used to give rachel nan ha 1.. cos she has a bit of sensitive skin so that why give. she was ok .. nan brand is not so sweet in fact i think it is a bit bitter... hahah .. so dont know whether ya baby like or not .. but i like cos i dont like it to be too sweet. similac taste sweeter i think .. hahah i didnt marry at fullerton.. i married at intercon..but now fullerton got offer.. 288+ per nite inclusive of 88 dinning credit.. so i think quite worth it .. and plus we might be going casino to check out hahahah so quite near..! plus this year not going oversea so take 1 nite out not too bad hee..

ivy . ya must enjoy.. but i already trying to think of how to sterlise bottles and transport the milk back.. cos now supply like dropping .. bu she de throw away the milk... ya girl so good can sleep so long!
 
faith, not very long, last time longer, from 1030pm can sleep till 6 or 7am, recently become shorter.. dunno is it becos the milk cannot fill her up enuff.

ainsley, 834 to 230 about 6hrs is good!! mine also 6-7 hrs at most, cos i woke her up at 11 to feed so wake up at 5am to 6am.
 
mummies, i need help. i suspect my gal has flu coz theres green mucus coming out of her nose and today is a PH. my pd is close! how? any any remedy??

just now i took a trolley and bought 2 nepia and 2 mamy poko, hahha sibeh aunty. And go food court buy bao for terence, buy clarinese for terence... nothing for myself

ivy tat is scooba. i have tat too. bought i tink two years back ba...

weiting mine is 520. no scheduling compared to 560. but i don need the scheduler la... so get this one sufficient liao. if the machine is less than 800 then extended warranty cost u 179. if more than 800 i tink is 239 if i don rem wrongly. model 560 going price is 988 at courts. whereas 520 cost 788 (excluding EW).
