talking abt the Dec birthday bash and I think the other months mummies also do so when its 'their month'. As for ours, Dec can sometime be quite a busy month with people traveling for holidays, clearing leave and also festive seasons celebration. Yes, eg gift birthday exchange sound good!
May: last round when I had 1st birthday party for my girl, there were many adults. Think I had 100 adults, and 40 kids. This round, my boy's birthday also consist of many of my girl's friends haha. So I will do it at a venue to accomodate both adults and children. Will be limiting to 50 adults, 25 children max. Besides, I will not invite many relatives this time round. Also, I am a bit lazy to engage party planner this time round, hence will let Playhouse 'bao ga liao'. The Playhouse is at Rochester Park.

Baby Shea, u need swim diaper huh...what size. I got huggies swim diaper. If you need just 1 -2 pcs I can post to u. But I think mine is S size leh. let me know.

Mine will b boring.. mostly adults so prob jus a buffet at home w a nice cake bah..
phew my boy's fever finally went down oredi. so worried for him! really a lot of undue pressure and stress.. see him feeling uncomfy makes me sad.
got to cancel gatherings with my pals cos they got young ones too. must be socially responsible!
next gathering at cala's rite? mamas must watch their babies! if they got any sign of unwell then better to skip. if not really a lot of unnecessary worry for the rest!

cala & May: I juz book a condo function room by the pool side, coz I have abt 80 pax so i want the venue to be foc. Mine will also be 90% adults. i went to check out raffles town club too but per pax is $30 i think...I rather spend on deco & other things instead. I have book my cake, venue, deco, door gifts already. Now doing scrap book for ppl to sign.....

Hi Alicia, i think S will be too small. cos this is what I used when my bb was like 3-5mths and now she is a L size huggies user.

Luwen, im very sorry what happen to reyes, because yuyu totally did not show any symptoms of any illness. So i really really really dun mean to cause any harm to all the other babies, and am not being socially irresponsible on purpose ya. If there is any small symptoms i will not bring her to meet u all definitely. like the 1st calamari gathering, because her ifc got hfmd case, i also quarantine her. And reyes has very little contact with yuyu, so no offence too, i hope to be fair to my little girl, it may or may not be from her.
And her IFC is not close, its the kindergarden & play ground side that got hfmd cases that result the whole school to be close. Her IFC is a separate area and so far no babies kanna. So i am also unsure did yuyu really get hfmd.
And i hope this case will not again reflect IFC babies got alot of illness or germs cos a lot of my fren children kanna HFMD is sahm. So unless we dun let our baby go out at all, stay home totally then maybe chances smaller. But we also might be the carrier, our clothes if a HFMD child cough onto it, and then our baby bite it, they also will kanna.
I apologize again if this case create any fear, stress. worries on the mommies who went to the gathering. Babies are all so innocent and helpless, I do not wish this to happen to any child, cos my girl also suffer alot. I think if this is going to create a phobia, i think its better that yuyu do not participate in gatherings, cos i do feel sad what happen. Its such a perfect gathering and i stain it with the hfmd scare.

MTDT: They got adults and childrens menu. Adults menu range from $15 per pax to $30 and Childrens menu range from $8 to $14 per pax during the 2 hour birthday party slot. There are 3 birthday packages at $450, $600 and $750. So for a party for about 50 adults, 20 children, will come up to about $2,200 thereabouts bah.

I agree with you on your thoughts. The last time I organised gathering, I also "announce" in the thread that if the kids are not well, better skip and wait for the next round, just so to play safe...altho sometimes they may have had the virus, but symptoms have not manifest yet.
As for birthday, I will have a Noah's Ark cake for him~ u are right

cala, thanks for the intro to playhouse. sounds good.. when zach is bigger next time, i want to hold it there for his friends and him. For now, it's for our friends. haha..

Calamari, the happy melts yoghurt bites new stock just arrived at the West Coast Organic Taste Original shop today. Go and buy if you still keen. The shop is at the stretch of shops facing the Community Club.

ivy i m not blaming yuyu as a viral transmitter but just that her exposure to hfmd is higher considering her sch env. then when i heard she kena, there's this nagging worry in me when my boy had the fever. yes germs are everywhere so everyone got to be more mindful. social responsibility goes a long way! ifc babies don't haf a lot of germs n illnesses but it is jus that they are so young, v easy will kena pass here n there. so prob jus put in a flu bug and it'll b circulating all ard. somemore now the virus n bacteria all v kiang. got different strains somemore so hygience at ifc is vv impt.

Like i say and this is the probably the last time i will post on this IFC topic. Her ifc got no HFMD cases, its the kindergarden side, and they all are first skool, so they close they will have to close the whole school even though the IFC is a separate area. Maybe i shldnt had post so fast before confirming whether its hfmd for yuyu, i just wanna send out a warning fast so u all can watch out esp the next day got photoshoot at roger's.
In fact, there is this conversation i had with the school. if IFC children only go home, go ifc. Chances of exposing to virus is low. The only reason why they get viruses is they go outside, got the virus, and the parents dun care and send to IFC. So the virus is actually from going out. But I am very Socially Responsible, if yuyu is not well, i do not bring her to school one. Very funny hor, whatever thing happen to the child, IFC always the scape goat, not fair to FTWM who send their baby to ifc leh. I also tell terence, yuyu probably got it from outside lor.
