Evon, condo function room not suitable. Coz bbs need to crawl and play on the floor and there is not diaper changing area or bf-ing room. No toys in the function room also.

Shea, shokel, ya! Excited. Bt oso gtta b v bz shopping for stuff etc. Will b ready by end of sept or early oct. Bt gt lift upgrading jus outside my Hse so it's a major turn off oso. Duno hw long it will take lor. Alr hacked bt hvnt build anything yet leh.

wah so many post, i went to cut hair and so many post since morning.

Ok many question on IFC. Ok the center close due to hfmd case hit 17 cases within a cluster period. The school has appeal to MOH that compare to many child care, my first skool is one of the biggest with more than 200 children in different levels. So the chance of them hitting 17 cases is higher than those school with 50 children. They are not compensating me the school fees and 3 teachers from different management level call me to try to seek my understanding hehe. I know its the government that want to force them to close, maybe garmen shld implement emergency contagious disease leave haha. since hfmd so common now. And the silly thing is, the last case that hit 17, the kid was on long holiday and went to school and discover hfmd marks when go home... oh well. So traveling and getting hfmd is very high when expose to public, like my fren who sahm, the son got from going jurong pt, cos she only go JP with her son most of the time lolz.

Alicia, i decided not to change school lah till maybe after infant care. The ifc teachers has been really nice to enyu, i dun want her to be shock to readapt herself at another school. Enyu went in with many issues due to her weak health, recently found out tat she is born with weak lungs and probably sensitive airway/sinus inherited from me. They had been giving her special attention as they know im very worried. During her 3!! mths of milk strike, they have been patient in rotating to feed her. Usually 1 teacher attend to 3 child, my girl is 3 teachers attend to her to try to "convince" her to finish her EBM within ONE HOUR! They always tell me to be patience with her cos im not very patience and as some of u who know me well, i got quite quick temper haha. So guess i will be keeping her till 18 mths in this IFC lah. Most impt is she seems happy there la.

ok enuff long story. I am sending my girl to this therapy, if it works i share with u all again.

ivy, when u mention abt yr story I truly think the care givers at the ifc are very nice and patient. honestly, I also think u shouldn't change an environment for her cos our bbies at this age of 8-9mth can now recognise environment and people...so dun creat further separation anxiety. anyway hope this HFMD will be over soon.

ivy, if the therapy works i would love to know.. cos ryan's immunity is also v low.. according to both pd & the yu guo physician.. by the way, thks to you & genesis for recommending the physician, i think it helps in a way.. might be continuing the tui na treatment especially he's now having constipation again.. sigh~~

Hi Wei Ting, no wonder the other time I mentioned about the yoghurt u sound keen to try for your baby. So your baby having tui na huh? maybe u go and buy the yoghurt and let yr bb try and see if its help with constipation. Are u still bfeeding or bb taking formula...cos when my bb tried the similac when she poo hor...aiyoh, so stressful so I suspect is the milk that buay gum her.
 
Annie, no tui na for the time being. he went consecutively 3 days sometime 2 weeks ago, that one was due to brochitis.. we mentioned to the physician he has constipation, then the physician jokingly say "wah you poo poo got on leave one ah'?

so ya, and also because of his cough & phlegm issues for the past 2 times, i m very scared of giving him new stuff, especially fruits.. like he cannot take apple.. so i need to be very cautious.. but maybe i will try giving him few mouthful of the yoghurt once i go buy.. yesterday he gek sai till his face turn red & got the eeehhh sound but still nothing come out.. so i think he must be feeling damn uncomfy..
 
Yunzz, it will take some times to know. One is when you get to know the teachers better, you know who is more patience. I know one in the school that is less patience, and maybe becos she is not a mother herself.

Morning, i observe my girl, when the teacher come to carry her. The one she likes she will extend her arms, or even luff or smile to her. She might even swing her legs when she get carry by the teacher she likes. So far, i know she likes the head teacher most, she will chuckle when she come and carry her, the stern teacher which she scare of carry her, her face very grumpy. 1 malay teacher who loves her cos every evening she will be the one sitting with her to train her new things like standing crawling. The single teacher is the one she dun really like cos she is bit rough, i see with my own eyes the way she feed her when she is a baby when i get to stay a few days, also one incident my girl throw up cos the teacher very rough wan her to finish up her milk.. takes a long time for me to know which teacher is better or she like lah. Of cos... sometimes u go earlier suddenly to spot check lah. Also when the teachers talk to me, to update me about her, you will know who is more observant, more accurate about her character and behavior. So far they are ok lah. My gf who send her son to little skool house at jurong was so angry cos she forget to bring pants and the son was without pants whole day and then come home sick... at least NTUC first skool got spare ntuc clothings.

weiting, the therapy is call jin shin jyutsu. Yu guo is very popular, i have yet to go, but my fren niece went and its very good too. Im trying this therapy by a home therapist 1st, and see how. If its so so i will go yu guo to tui na once a while. Feed ryan, plums, peaches once a while to prevent constipation. Peaches, nectarine is natural laxatives so cannot give too much. plums are very neutral, bowel regulator, can give more often. cold storage now sells 1 box of 8-9 plums at $10.90, peel skin, remove pits, chop and steam for a while and puree, then can give him liao.

luwen, ains: as usual, Kayla will be at playgroup class from 2 to 4pm so can only see her at 4+ hahahah
 
Weiting, the lungs weak then will get cough often, esp nowadays weather so bad. my pd say 7th mth also worst haha. So far, i try to give her vit C rich food, say brocolli, parsnip, peaches, persimmons for immunity. Of cos cannot just give vit c rich food, but i focus on that cos not so common as food mah. Usually we give pumpkin carrots vits A rich food. Protein iron from fish ,meat, milk. So good to give vit C food once a week. Then i like to standby bao yin dang. Also i quite daring to give medication now. Cos treat it while its still mild rather then it get serious and damage the lungs further for eg bronchitis. Then when older, make chicken soup with goji berries, carrots, corn. And like may suggest, little amt of pao shen when baby is healthy to bu back. Dun worry ok, ryan will be stronger and stronger as his immunity build up. If ryan reject yogurt, give it with his fav food. Like enyu will only take yogurt with her avocado.

thanks ivy.. mm, din know plums & peaches help too.. ok i go try & give him a little.. mum just called me & told me he poo already, but all hard hard & he's screaming in pain.. poor boy..

actually i find that i not very adventurous in giving him foods yet, kept giving him the same old food, unlike u i see u have intro-ed a lot of new food...

k, u let me know about the therapy bah..
 
WT - how is ryan's head now? how abt giving him golden kiwi? my boy poo poo a few times on sun and mon when he ate golden kiwis over the wkends...
 
WT - actually maybe its a chicken and egg thingy..

u dun give him fruits - his poo gets hard etc.

also maybe try changing ur milk brand? sometimes it's the milk tat is not suitable to his digestive system.
 
manunited, his head seems ok already, the part which he fell that time already harden back.. but our review to kkh will be next week, so see what the specialist say bah.. thks for the additional suggestion of kiwi, can try

MTDT, yah lor.. maybe that's what made it worse.. but initially right from the start he already got this problem.. i used to think it's milk powder and went to change 2 times, but still like that, even taking those type like friso comfort also like this.. now he's taking the dumex hypo-allergenic one and it's supposed to be v diluted so dont think it will cause a problem like the usual cow's milk

but yes, i may start giving him more fruits to see if it improves the situation.. just 1-2 weeks back he still had his bronchitis, so even pd ask us to avoid giving him fruits for the time being..
 


Shokel : hahhahah...i think bb kiren has gained weight. He should be around 9kg by now. He didn't smile thru' out the photoshoot till the last few shots. And he looks funni with his new hairdo, hubby wanna him to have a trim b4 the shoot.

WT : I remembered u can try putting a powder from GNC in his milk or cereal, it is not a laxative, but it will help to loosen the stools. Let me go home and check the name.
