can update me when you visit ur gynae? cos me having spotting also on and off sometimes with cramps.. havent been to gynae yet.. noe 6weeks already..
 


ainsley - alamak.. juz go c dr la... then ask dr to gib u medication safe for pregnancy... better than anyhow eat rite??

ivy - one nite is better than nothing man.. mine dun have.. longest abt 4 hrs but next feed will shorten lor..
 
Miu, choy.. I nt pregnant. hahaha.. I think din need see doc la. Jus mild food poisoning. Stomach is pain bt no diahhorea alr.

Najmom, sure.will update u on wed. U dun hv ur postnatal chk at week 6 ? Or postpone also?

ivy i think i will bring bb try the massage tomorrow, he has been crying non-stop today, and it's not the usual crying kind, it's the wailing kind.. sigh really dont know what he wants..

ainsley, drink plenty of water to make up the loss of fluid, if still no good then better to go see doctor.. take good care.. =)

re the prob of spotting, i still have, and everyday put either pantyliner or slim pad, sians.. asked gynae when i did my 1 month check up yesterday he asked me if i bf bb, i said yes and he say it's normal, different people react differently..
 
Weiting, then u did ur pap smear? I hv been spotting on n off tats y keep postponing my appt.

Miu, same la. My bb's slp cycle oso gets shorter .. Miss my beauty sleep lor..
 
ivy, yah i try not to carry him too much but seeing him cry till so cham i heartbroken. sometimes cry till no voice. hopefully he will be more independent when he gets bigger.

mummies who are using baby bjorn synergy carriers, what colours are yours ah? was wondering if i chose black color, will it be too warm for the bb anot..
 
laureen, same.. the cry can become hoarse, like airy cos no voice liao.. i also think when she older than i try to slowly reduce.

Ainsley, the pain is due to the virus still inside that pulling ur stomach, thats where buscopan comes in, both medication is GP give when im pregnant so safe. If u can tahan, just tahan, drink warm stuff, no milk ya.

Weiting, i use black, reason is not so easy dirty, cos bring baby out, what if throw up, kanna shit haha.
 
weiting after massage, u see if u can try burping him, also dun overfeed him ok. Be prepare for major throw up.
 
Ainsley u take care k.u need alot of energy to take care of bb woh.btw I jialat.I din take note of his height onli weight.haha bt he is very tall for a 2mth bb.

It's been a long time since I login Motherhood forum! My girl is coming to 8wks liao.

She is now 58cm and weighs 5.5kg! By the way just to check how often does your baby drink and how much he/she drinks? My girl is demanding for milk every 3hrs and at 120ml each feed...

ainsley, my boy nite feeding time the same as yr gal leh. last feed usu last 4-5hrs, nxt feed 3 hrs, then the remaining feed 2 hrs. faintz.... ytd nite kenna tortured by him. feed @ 12, 3, 5, 645, 8am. nw his nite timing bit haywire liao.... hope tonight can go back to last feed @ 9+pm

ivy, i also hv the same prob as u.
find it diff to slot in time to pump coz daytime he latches on every 2hrs.
by the time finish feeding coax him to sleep already half-45mins gone. only can pump when i feed him btl @ his last feeding. usu can get > his 1 btl feeding. so will add the surplus to the next pump. that hw i manage to store some reserve.
n ytd i threw away 200ml of milk coz expired liao n i forget to move up to freezer so heart pain bohuhuhu.......
btw my fren taught me a method to slot in some pumping. but only works if yr bb latches on 1 breast each feeding.
eg. 1pm yr bb latches on the right breast. 3pm bb will latch on the left. so instead of pumping the right breast after the 1pm feed (coz no milk liao, only to simulate), you can pump the right breast 15mins before the 3pm feed. this way at least you get to express some milk from the right breast instead of right after latching then pump sure no milk leh.... This works for me and I'm able to get store some reserve liao.

nowadays my boy cant sleep very well in the day. but somehw i can c he wants to sleep but juz cldn't sleep soundly. like very easily awaken leh. so nw i let him sleep in the swing or my bed.
 
Bb has been slping for 2.5 hrs liao. V cooperative today..

Snowpear, mayb drag bb's last feed to later? I oso hv been spotting on n off. Sian rht. Menses still predictable. This spotting hor, jus on off on off like tat.
 
ainsley, i tried liao. any timing ltr than his usu 9.20pm feeding he will wake up < 6hrs leh.. i find it puzzled too. given the same amt of milk if feed @ 9.20 it can last him for 6hrs. but i tried giving him @ 12am he wake up 3hrs ltr hahaha.... is like he noes its the 2nd feed leh so timing shorter. faintz.....
oh u got menses liao?
 
haiz juz nw my neightbour bang his dr then my boy got startled n cried. but heng i put him in the swing so faster on the swing n he goes bk to sleep again.... n with the lift upgrading here, he really cant sleep well in the day.... haiz.....
 
Snowpear, my Plc oso lift upgrading soon. Duno hw. Sianz.. Mine ah duno menses or wat. Jus spotting on n off. Will ask gynae this wed. I think ur bb tune to the timing liao. Bt v gd lor. Can slp 6 hrs..
 
ainsley.. possible to have spotting if you direct latch on.. cos sometimes.. when you lesser the latch on.. menses will start to come le.. that y gynae said even bf also not 100% cos you don't know when your menses will come..

Sandy.I tried kodomo b4.it's wetter bt more difficult to pull out sheet by sheet coz it will stick together.mafan when u in hurry to pull n wipe.

genesis, I tried putting him on mattress also won't have deep sleep. only yaolan helps.


sandy, I tried johnson wipes before, very moist but gimme rashes when I use on myself.

tomorrow is feb le. time really pass so quickly. everyday busy busy.. cny coming le! festive mood!

Laureen, can still b trained la. 2 mths bb only. Slowly... Try to leave him on bed as much as possible lor. When he's awake, play with him, etc

Ya.. pigeon.. is gd.. but both J &amp; J and Pigeon are x.. hehehe.. so was thinking of buying economical ones.. cos bb uses very fast..

This is the 5th packs le that I am opening today.. really very xiong..

sandy - wipes are indeed xiong sia, somemore my bb poo big time, use up quite a lot and fast.. i lost count on the number of packets le.. but so far i only use the J&amp;J which hospital gave (more than 1 piece comes out everytime i pull) &amp; pigeon, which my friend recommended, say the moisture level is just right (not too wet)..
 
lolx.. no la.. I mean since born till now.. today is the 5th pkts le.. if within one day open 5 packets.. think I juz washed and pat dry her butt.. faster..

laureen.. I only use the travel pack wipes when gg out... at home will use the big pack one..
 
Wei Ting, yes white look nice hor.. but not practical to me too.

My bb fall asleep herself on cot just now cos my HB put her on cot and went to vacuum, i think the noise make her sleep, he so happy but haha 5mins wake up liao, cos time for milk.
 
sandy how u use 5 packet per day??

To save $$, use cotton wool/wood pad (the one we buy for our face), wipe with water in day time. Nite time so sleepy, i just use the wet wipes.
 
me tried the blue and light pink which Gleneagles give. I'm more sensitive to the blue. the light pink like wipe already feels sticky.

my bb from birth till now never use more den ten pieces of wipe cuz I strictly water and cotton unless outside. even in hospital I use tissue and water for him.

oh I'm using pigeon wipes in white packaging on him. the seal is good but find the wipes rather dry.

johnson seals are bad. difficult to stick back.
 
ainsley, same here. Today my girl keep wanted to suck... terence keep asking so fast hungry meh... i try to buy time lah... i carry her to living room, back to room, walk to kitchen.. buay tahan. Also dunno why my right breast below area bit pain... oh btw i order a top from maternalove.

Today got sale person come promote delphin vacuum cleaner, $3k plus.. siao.. but i engage them for 3 times service lah.
 
Ivy, my girl ah, duno wat she wants dw lor. Sometimes v gd can fall aslp on her own.. Or jus pat her will do. bt sometimes will cluster feed every 1-1.5 hrs..
 
Ivy or whoever know can answer me? is ridwind the same as gripewater? Where to buy ridwind? I bot gripewater already....wana let bb try.
