miumiu, i breastfeed and bottle feed midnite, baby also got colic, partly she is very kancheong, cry alot also can get colicky
 
Ainsley! So good u! I wish I can experience the spraying!! Mine is just a leaking tap, drip drip nia....urs sound like a strong hose! I can get 60-80 already smile like siao!!

Ivy, ya agree it's troublesome to use the aid but u are not afriad of nipple confusion if u bottlefeed?
Wat teats are u using?

yunzz, tats why after i try, baby seems to be ok, she still latch, so i stop using. I using avent.
 
GG, lolx.. quite strong man.. Just now spray in all directions. think becos of the multiple openings at the nipple.. But for me, I never pump before so I also duno exactly how much milk i have. haha
 
hemmie - mi wash with baby accessiores cleanser and sterilise each time i pump .

ivy - do drink lots of soups, water / milo, drink some warm water b4 u latch/pump will help. eat more fish and spinach too.

tris -mi try sweetest moment b4 given by my relative cake and ang ku kech so so only, packing is nice.
 
Hemmie: i bought too many connectors n got the softshield funnels but too small for me. As for bottles n pump, we wash with soap n sterilize after every use.

Joanna: usually engorgement happens on 3rd/4th day. You have to keep latching/pump n massage VERY hard. Ask ur Hubby help u, men got more strength. U will feel like kicking his face but after he clears ur blocked ducts, u will feel a lot better. If not LC massage oso pain.
 
calamari, where do you buy the accessories like connectors and funnels from? Don't think I saw it in any shops like Spring or Mothercare.
 
Ainsley, ya, I know wat u mean. Some days I also find got more openings! When I hand express can see different small streams then I very happy machiam strike 4D! Then some days only one or two openings...like spoilt tap!

Calamari, how do we see if the funnel is right size for us or need to change? Go by nipple size or breast size??
 
Joanna, calamari is right.. Get ur hubby to help u massage.. He helped me clear mine a few days back.. I wanna bite him while he was massaging.. Haha..

Regarding cleaning of pumps, I only clean with bb washing liquid n steralise after every pump in the day.. But at nite, I will just wash with warm water.. Else run up n down the floors in the middle of the nite very troublesome n tiring..

roxy, 10ml no big deal, my hubby drop 30ml oki.. he tell me to tell u goes quite well with milo. -.-
 
cayenne &amp; calamari... if my hubby is hm early loh. He either wking damn late or hving entertainment... where got time to help me massage. 2nite, same as well bah... won't see him till pass 12midnight x (

miumiu, same here my boy also cranky today. whole afternoon didn't sleep. luckily I've got CL so she help me "ding" for yesterday nite n this afternoon so I manage to catch some sleep.

I also order Elsie Kitchen on 1 Jan! me doing another day on 2 jan also house too small cannot accomodate too many people

Do you experience ' shuang tong' after the massage.... now my body is aching... esp my hand.. don't know it is b'cos they are exposed to surrounding wind.. now very 'shuang tong' and it only after the massge today...

Other part abit.. but not that serious...
 
Joanna: i didn't use any warm towels, just plain hard massage by Hubby to clear the blocked ducts.

Hemmie: I bought them online

gg: the funnel size depends on ur nipple size. M size is a bit small for me at the moment so switch to L size. More comfortable , dun have funnel marks on the nipple. Pity the softshield funnels do not come in other sizes except M.
 
Have not login a few days... For me I'm pumping r hourly (bb day 9) yields about 40 to 50ml. I also perspire at night with aircon but remember to wipe always stand by a towel by your side to wipe dry..my massage lady advised me not to eat mee sua in the morning cos my massage is 11am, also dun eat cakes for breakfast (cos got preservatives) we will feel cold and shiver.. Morning can drink milo n biscuits. If feel engorged use hot towel (not warm towel) she mentioned about 70degree hot put on breast and massgae, to me it helps! I feel engorged today at 3am and 8am both times I use hot towel and I can choose to pump or dun pump (feel if breast is full) and go back to sleep
 
Miu, think ur boy is gg to slp well ltr in the nite since he has nt been slping in the day.. Hope I dun need to watch sunrise tmr. Lol
 
ainsley, when you are feeding on 1 side, use your other arm/ hand to press onto your other breast to stop the flow and let down reflex, especially useful when you have such forceful letdown. Also since you are dripping in the shower, you can do some hand massage and ease the flow there and then. Before feeding baby, you can try to hand massage to stimulate your let down so that some milk can flow out before your baby drinks so she doesn't choke.
 
Think I also abit over ss... But I seldom pump, thus dunno.

Now breast will be 'full' within 2hrs.. Just now bb fed at 11pm... Then woke up at 2am for next feed, my bra all wet liao.. Wet thru my breastpad too. Argh... So messy! :p
 
Juz finished pumping.. Bb abt time to wake up for next feed.. Wonder if I shld wait for him or go sleep.. Scared I settled down n sleep then he wakes up.. Then i maybe too lazy to wake up le..

cayenne, i used yla for bb shower last week... abit cannot make it... food cold, forks/spoons not enuff etc...

miu when my CL leaves dis sat i will joining the panda eyes watch sunrise club.. she just told me bb awake form 3 - 5 am dun wanna sleep...
