like wat the other mummies advise, dun apply ruyi oil directly on bb, just put on ur hand and pat gently around cord area... i did use cord spirit... tmc gave 1 free bottle...
 
Roxy, I'm watching 通天干探, apparently it was aired on SCV recently and one of the lead actors is Moses Chan. I like him though he's not very handsome. haha. ;) what's rosy business in Chinese?

Pauline, I did my makeup myself and hair juz leave it down, went there juz for photoshoot. Maybe mine is wkday and no one is after me so I have alot of time to chose the pics. Yes, I did ask them to 'erase' everything including the vertical line on my tummy so its flawless! haha.

and I'm bringing a small luggage to hospital! hah, coz still got hubby's clothes ma..so alot to bring for this "trip". =p
 
Hi Sandy, dunno leh, that day i went for my pedicure/manicure session then got few taitai there told me de... they said dun apply ruyi oil directly on bb which i'm aware... and they said before cord drop, can try to apply the oil on baby's feet and forehead to keep warm.

Hi Roxy- yeap, thanks for the advise, wonder do hospital still use cord spirit, heard that some don't.
 
Alicia, I see, hubby is a teacher so weekdays is out. I went on Sat morning but their schedule is packed back to back so v rushed, can only do 1 pose for semi nude shot and the photographer did not even notice that my polo shirt sleeve was not turned out properly. Whole series of photo for that was 'spoilt'. Cannot smile naturally for my solo shots cos photographer was a tad impatient. Quite stressful experience. :p

MTDT, actually I didn't want to buy the DVD set cos keep telling hubby that I don't think I have time to watch but he tempt me with Moses Chan lor. So I bought the cop drama series, at least he can still watch with me sometimes.

I am reading the thread and i have a question:
Is it necesasry to put ruyi oil on baby everyday?

I tot it is only when baby is uncomfortable in the stomach, have wind etc then we apply?

hi roxy, i'm very good thanks. now 37wks n waiting anxiously everyday for my princess to pop hee..., cos i'm opting for natural birth ma. btw the stevie bag my friend oso wanted to get, but dun hav liao,she went to outlet in states oso. the bag got another model exactly the same is union square baby stevie.its actually a diaper bag but the shape n color is the stevie shape lo,only thing is got extra diaper mat n strap to loop on ur stroller.but i find is not worth as it cost usd400+ leh. xiao eh, extra 200+ for the diaper mat n strap.the wan u got for me is really good deal lo .

Hey gals, just wondering what brand of baby wash did you all get ah? Dunno whether I should get the more expensive one like gaia and sebamed, or the good old J&amp;J.
Is the johnsons baby wash no rinse formula? or need to rinse one? If you gals get the johnsons baby one, what type did you buy? Top to toe or the normal baby wash?

Ling lee, i think cannot see sinseh cos cannot anyhow massage the legs... might trigger contractions.. i not so sure but instead of massage, u can ask the sinseh to wrap the sprained ankle with some herbs and medicine?
 
mtdt, lol.. I am from HK actually. So watch a lot of HK drama.. there is one Taiwan show by "xiaozhu" and "Rainie" also not bad. quite funny. but ah.. that one worse.. one week one episode only.. lol..

No nesting instinct la. Just that during my week 31 gynae appt, Gynae told me I am 2cm dilated, I quickly go back pack hospital bag and start washing baby clothes. As I am a 2nd time mummy, didn't really need to buy alot of baby stuffs.

I did apply ruyi oil to my boy but I rub it on my palm first before applying on him. (The cord is still attached now) And soon after can hear him fart. hahaha....

I oso chasing this drama via pps. Nice show.
 
Ainsley, I oso watching xiao zhu n rainie show. abit boliao but Very funny show. But muz wait till every Monday sometimes wait till my neck is so long.
