was supposed to meet sandwich and co for lunch. then i forgot and wanted to meet jul to collect stuff. and i forgot again and asked fitti to deliver diapers.
yet.... ytd night hubs tried to tighten the lock on our front door and couldnt screw it back so i need to stay home to wait for contractor to repair. but i tot i shld just go ahead with lunch and ask them to come later. but i couldnt get through to her on the phone hence i decided to stay at home. added incentive is that 2 parcels are arriving so i can be at home to receive. one of them came and i am still waiting for the other. just when i was sending email, jacob fussed so i tot finally he wants his milk. so i fed him, which he drank ferociously. but less than a min, i smelled poo and checked and yes, he pooed again(twice today)! so i dropped e bottle and pulled him to the cot to change. to my shock, the diaper (read: <font size="+2">PETPET</font>) leaked big time! the back of the romper was soaked with poo!!! so i gotta bath him again!! less than an hour before his first bath... and then cleared up the mess... so tired!! he dirtied the bumper mat also... grrr... so stupid to have a diaper leak at home! and it got me thinking: luckily i am at home! shld i been out for lunch, my sling and clothes would be dirty! so i must really thank (not in order) i) hubs for spoiling the lock ii) contractor for not picking up the phone iii) vpost for cocking up hence i can only make payment ytd and ended with the parcel arriving today iv) one of the bp seller for posting out my items late so i could stay at home to wait for them!

on a happier note, my stocks arrived!! yay!! didnt stay at home in vain..
just finally gotten both myself and my girl out of bed... (yes i was on the bed replying forum via my iphone all morning.. lol!!)
bathed her..and now i'm going to bathe... and have my brunch.. then unpack my stocks and take pics..and then upload them before i go for my dinner at Fullerton with HB and his company!! woohoo!! hehehe..

The elders always have this thingy in mind when babies cry non-stop for nothing. My boy did that last week too and both my mum & my FIL said similar things : To take that don't know what plant's leaves and place it into the tub and bathe for him/wipe his face. -.-" Somehow i don't know why it works. Or maybe it's really coincidental. LOL! Since it's not for consumption, i just follow. I followed is because i do believe in such things too. Wahahahaa... sound so aunty right? Nevermind.. as long as my baby is fine, i'm okay. I understand how you feel when living under the same roof and everyone has different views and comments in settling the crying baby. DO what you feel is correct & comfortable!!
Just to share with you, last week when i carried my boy to my grandma's house(but she passed away few weeks before i got married in 2009) as my relatives were all there. Strangely,he cried non-stop all the way even though they pass him back to me..! I was thinking it's impossible for him to be in this manner as (1) he does come into this house often too (2) the people whom he saw in the house are the same usual people whom he saw occassionally. The only one thing in my mind was -my grandma came back!- Sounds scary??? Whahahaa... but i really suspect lah.... cos before she passed away, she usually will be sitting or walking around the living room together with her children and grandchildren at this kinda timing! My uncle quickly carried my baby back to my mum's place (we live next door only) and he stop immediately. I told my mum that i suspected lah then she told me the same thing. So she took the leaves and placed them in the water to wash his face. LOL! Then i told myself to try again (whether he really not familiar with my grandma's house or was it really my grandma came back and he scared). I brought him back to her house one hour later (10+pm - usually all relatives will go back and grandma zzzz), he was okay!!!! For one hour, he never fuss, cry, cranky!
Anyway up to individuals to believe lah... because my 4yr old nephew encountered similar thing at his own great grandma house MANY times ever since he's a baby.. and till now lor!!!

Awww... this is the 3rd time i brought my boy to the doctor. No choice, got to use the neubalizer? because of what asthmatic bronchitis??? SIgh.. my poor boy... not even 3 months, kena H1N1, not even 5 months, kena this stupid thingy flu virus which causes all the rubbish!! Urgh! Heartpain heartpain. TOo many people living under one roof is really contagious in a way when one is sick!!!!!!!!!! Thank god my flat is ready soon.......... at least i have a roof over my head!!! My boy has been taking so many kinds of medicine and it really hurts so much... he struggles whenever we give him medicine, he struggles whenever i want to clean his nose or suck out the mucus for him... sigh! Doctor says he gonna take about another 5 more days to be well.... awwwww... so long!!! And he has to finish the antibiotics too!!! *.* Hopefully no more medicine for him after this!!

After u say feeding ur bb on 8 MAr then I realise my bb is 5 months during CNY. So I should start in Mar and not April.

Looks like a lot of you starting your babies on semi-solids at 4-5 months hor? Why people say start at 6months? I was told by an acquaintance who works as a nurse, that it used to be 6months. Then slowly the manufacturers changed it to 4 months. Doctors discovered that it's not so good to start at 4months, and so now the trend is slowly going back to 6 months. Apparently, the manufacturer labels are begining to change it to 6 months too.

Yeah loh. What's more i am on total breastfeeding!!!! Supposed to be healthier hor.. but i have no idea why like that.... can sense he breathe till very xinku... when he's sleeping, i will be there trying to clear his nose to ensure it's as clear as possible.... i just cleared it and now i cant hear the sound as much as just now... awwww... luckily i haven't gotten a job yet or else i will surely eat cuttlefish.

What I don't understand is that since you all are talking about buying organic cereal, I thought the idea is that you want to give baby the best food to start with, ie, organic. But then why give brown rice si sen fen, when you don't even know what exactly used in making this? Or is there a organic brown rice si sen fen also?

my boy got block nose since 14 Jan till now still haven recovered. Seen 2 PD liao also nv recovered. At night the condition get worse.
inside like machiam alot of thing.. keep got the korr korrr sound. i use the nose cleaner but nothing come out lehh. How arr???

1st PD seen on 18jan give iliadin, 1 drop 3 times a day. use 5 day rest 5days.
2nd PD seen on 29 Jan say the iliadin use 5days rest 2days. give me Sinomarin mini (hypertonic sea water nasal spray) can use up to 10times a day.

reason y i started my boy on semi solid is becos he is rejecting milk unless i give him some solid. not using solid to replace any of his feeds yet. juz slot one round of solid in btw one of his 2milk interval - when we are having our dinner, so he gets to eat when he see us eating too. den he wun get angry, den after tat he took his milk as usual. else last time he drink n purposely vomit when u carry him. imagine all de milk at ur face =p

kam - haha i very greedy leh! i want to let jacob try all the brown rice cereals! for western stuff, i would get organic ones if possible for the 1st few months cos their tummies still fragile. after tt then maybe buy the local ones, cheaper mah. for chinese ones, i may wanna buy from eu yan seng cos my friend's mum highly recommend! cos si sen fen supposedly good for appetite and their leg muscles i think. so will give mixture lor, organic, chinese and local, so he can be exposed to different tastes. so sian tt i cant join u all. i m still waiting at home! and i din have lunch!!!

My #1 saw Dr Ang AT once. We also don't like her at all. My hubby said would never go back to her.
We like Dr Keoy, but it also took us a few visits before we started to really like him. Now we only trust him and no one else. And we feel that the medicine he prescribes work well for my kids. Guess it's more of "yuan fen" bah. No need appointment. Level 9, Novena Medical Centre.

I used huggies, drypers, fitti(basic)... i will say i prefer fitti the most. Huggies also leak poopoo....

I can order if we have sufficient orders. Realized no need US200 also can save de.. In fact the last batch I ordered 3 batches, turn out the cheapest one US141 has the cheapest shipping coz they really filled the box. Small box but full!!
The one I ordered US280 was split into 2boxes. One big box n one small box. I tell u, even the small box stuffs throw into the big box still got space lo!!
Make me so angry.. Wastes $30 shipping on the small
box.. Even pay 7% GST also cheaper lo..
I feel like trying out something this time round.. Order everything one shot.. Means regardless how much, coz I think old navy only pack abt US220 max per box.. N in this manner they can hopefully max out the boxes by filling all full to abt US 220 or order in batches of US150..

Maybe i'm more spoilt, used to having things done my way. My MIL last time also feed my #1 fu shui. The best part is she already knew i won't allow, so she went to secretly feed. Lucky my maid tell me and I kicked up a big fuss and got my hubby to scold her. She never learn her lesson and went to feed a second time. This time, I brought my baby back to my parent's house to stay for 2 weeks. tell my MIL if she don't listen to me then i won't let her see her grandchild..heh
So basically when it comes to my kids, things must be done my way. no room for negotiation. I don't care if they complain to their other kids and say i don't respect them. Maybe i sound mean but it's my kids we're talking about loh. Once they get the message, they now guai guai already. no more funny business
