wah.. a couple of times a day??
i tot initial weaning is to give like a spoonful once a day.. or depending on the baby's intake... then after 1-2 month then slowly increase again....
maybe u give too much at one shot la.. baby's stomach cannot take it....

hehehe.. start slow ba.. they been having only milk for the past 4 months... must give their little tummy time to adjust to outside food.. heheh.. :p

think the diarrhoea med 'dried up' ur boy's poo lor.

actually i read that it's gd to give rice cereal first for tbf bb, coz it contains iron. then later move on to fruit/veg.

mine also! ever since he can flip, he will cry n struggle n flip onto his tummy then sleep!

think it is still too early to introduce solid food to baby. my #1 had her first taste of rice cereal when 5 month old, and it is a spoonful a day for the start. hope your baby is fine now

Thanks, eczema better after i "elomet" my whole body, today skin started peeling (like microdermabration :p) my breast looks like a tree bark!!! all peeling all over! damn gross!

<font color="0000ff">sandwich</font> ya, ya, my toes and fingers have cracks, have been moisturising and moisturising like mad!! still have cracks but after elomet, i think cracks seems to get better.
Aiyo, i think you cannot put elomet continuously....must let you skin rest for a while, then continue...the last time my eczema was so bad doctor prescribed me Dermovate, like super potent...and wanted me to do light therapy....but i went for holiday, then came back and eczema got better, so doc was so cheeky, she said next time i just prescribe you a holiday

By the way, what do you use for shower? I am using Pinetarsol and its really good, better than Cethaphil.

<font color="0000ff">Jul</font> use gloves to do the washing!! my eczema gets worse with rubber gloves, so what i do is to wear plastic gloves (the $1 for 100 pieces ones) then wear those latex gloves...at least for me, it works, this way, less contact with water, my fingers are significantly better

how do u take it w/o ur hubs ard for 3 mths! i already sian if my hubs not ard if he works late or got function. everyday wait for him to come home n throw the bb to him so i can take a break!

My baby only chubby on his face. His body not like those michellin type. My gynae is Dr Adrian and I guess the same gynae as yours. He was using forceps on me. I think baby's head is round because sleep in sarong. I guess sleeping in sarong may help. Your baby sleep on cot/bed?

Sigh...another mafan stuff: My mil stopped me to give my son until 6 month. Feel very piss off with her. Seems like she is the expert. Buay tahan.

I hope u didn't go to the Big Splash flea market. I went today, it was BIG disappointment. Only about..5 stalls selling baby stuff and their price more ex than BP price. A few stalls selling adult clothings and a few selling food and tibits.. most of the stores are empty! Such a waste of time. In the end, we just spent some time at the beach.

I dunk my boy's feet into the sea water.. Hahha he got a fright of his life cos the water is cold. He enjoyed "standing" in the sand tho'.

I tink I can only ans ur qn in 3 months time. hurhur~ Me same as u de but I dun have a choice wor... cannot take it also gotta force myself to. If u remember, he was alr away quite frequently when i was still preggy. Aft Jaelle's 1st month, he started to fly again but not as long as tis time round lo.

Well, now its not just me alone. I got bb to look aft. Cant tink so much abt how I feel as I would wish to. Hb is the sole bread winner. Plus, we intend to move out to a bigger place this yr. So he wanna pia. (our current place really too cramp)

Ppl who knows abt this also ask me the same qn. Seriously, I duno how to ans them lo. Some say I'm very strong to handle everything on my own (considering the fact that I'm a 1st time mum) but I'm really not as strong as they may think de. I can just tear/ cry out of a sudden when I realise his absence. Or just cry under my pillow at night lo. </font>

Jaelle slps in her cot most of the time. Only allowed her to nap in the afternoon on my bed at times...

Today, my uncle just told me.. say its cos she slps on her tummy(means she has to slp on either side of her head).. Thats y... He also mention that it very good but nv say why its good when asked. hurhur~</font>
 
i feel sick =( my baby bought home a cough + cold from infantcare over the weekend. and now as i pump for tomorrow's milk, i am feeling so cold ... plus i can't get the letdown effect no matter how i try. think i try another 10 minutes i will go hit the sack and use all FBM instead.

whoa.. slightly bigger ar.. means my CNY outfit for my girl most prob 泡汤 le.. i ordered Size 6-12M ones.. my girl now stl wearing carters rompers 3-6M one.. stl abit loose summore.. jialat jialat.. but nvm hor.. buy big one at least sure got chance to wear.. better than buy too small *self-console abit* =p

Sleep on tummy makes baby feel secure. Same goes to sarong because when sleep in sarong, baby feel like someone is cuddling them. I am not very comfortable to let bb to sleep in sarong but it makes them sleep better. Somemore wont have suffocation issue because sarong got a lot of tiny tiny holes ma. Only at nite, we let our lil one sleep on bed and it seems like he is adjusting quite well with all the arrangement. Btw, my daughter also slept in sarong last time and I "wean" her off around 1 year old.

Last December, we went to Malacca trip and my lil boy seems to able to "survive" without sarong because he sleeps in sarong in day and on the bed at nite. And last time his head is quite sharp one and now everyone comments that he got a round head.

My col and friends who have kids sleeping in sarong also say it really helps a lot.

It is really up to you because many ppl around me let their lil one sleep in sarong. :)

Hmm what kind of slight discoloration? Mine got abit of black - blue color on the ears, duno how it went there? It went away after washing with washing liquid



Which brand of food bottle/warmer is good huh? I saw Pigeon, Avent, Tollyjoy, Tommee Tippee ones. Need recommendations as i'm considering to buy one.

Wat I did was to massage gently in circular motions on my Bb's head when I am breastfeeding him.. Helps to make head rounder. Now dunno effective now cos I did tat during 1st mth n it helps as head still soft.
Oso heard sleeping in sarong helps the head to be rounder.

Same like u, not comfy w bb sleeping in sarong but it helps to make the head round, so let him sleep in sarong in the afternoon w 1 condition tat cannot "yao" the "yao lan". When his head is rounder, I will "wean" him off too.

My PD actually advised against massaging/touching baby's head, until his/her skull/head is hard and the gap is closed (probably >1 yo). For the very same reason as yours - cos the head is still soft, so don't disturb it.

Josh's giraffe already almost albino liao. The spots very light brown now, and all the ears and legs no color already!! </font>
