Hello! i'm going to be thick-skinned and ask..did anyone miss me? lol I'm back to sunny island singapore!!! <3
forgot who wanted to share buy the fitti 360... did you managed to order?
didnt had much internet connection over at my in-laws @ miri, sarawak.. so couldnt get to check the forum. it was a freaking rm20/weekly for the pre-paid broadband... so you now how fast or stable it can be -.-''
anyway, it's my girl's magical 3rd month today! yay~ fingers crossed!! which also means i got 1 month left of maternity leave

i tried to train my boy to skip midnight feed and sleep through the night, thought it was sucessful as he woke up and settled himself back to sleep for 1-2 weeks, but the past few days he wakes up at 3+ to 4am crying, then my #1 also wakes up and cries when she hears didi cries. i was upset too, asking myself why #1 learnt to skip midnight feed after crying for only 1 night but #2 cannot. can u imagine 2 babies crying together at 4am? it is so frustrating. then i think i have to take things easy and don't get too upset. after all, he is still a baby and i shouldn't get upset with him. u jia you too

baby's weight> my boy's weight have been quite stagnant for 3wks. have been ard 6kg since he turned 3mths. for 1mth like no increase in weight liaos. how ah? need see pd? but he still drinks as normal. day feed 130mlX4times, latchX2times, dream feed 150mlX1time. total abt 930ml or so a day

Sleeping thru the nite>>
took me 2weeks to realize it's the room temp prob!!
My girl sleep peacefully at nite frm 10-14weeks.. Suddenly last 2 weeks got prob putting her to slp. On the nite of 31st Jan aka morning of 1 Jan, we on air con cuz somehow I just felt she's feeling hot!
Lo n behold, she lie down for abt 10 min. After talking to herself n making some noises, she fell asleep!!

its common for their weight gain to slow down, some a lot slower, aft 3 mths. my boy put on 1.9kg for 1st mth then 1.3g for 2nd n 3rd mth then now at 4th mth i weighed him today he is 8.3kg, only put on 800g. my twins who were on fm since 2nd mth put on 1kg steadily every mth until they reached 10kg at 6 mths. aft tat between 6 to 12 mths only put on 2kg. as they grow more mobile u can expect them to be leaner as well. but as long as still drinking well its v normal, i think pd will tell u same thing.

My maternity leave has ended & been back to work for the week. These 2 days I realise that my girl does not want to latch on during the day. She only latches on during her nite feed at abt 4-5am. Should I continue to try latching her during the day or should I just bottle feed her. My hubs say she might get confused with when to latch on if I latch her during weekends daytime.

i'm going back to work on monday too! i've stopped latching on in the daytime. and i only latch on for night feeds. just yesterday and today i've started feeding my boy on a three hour schedule instead of feeding him on demand cos the teachers at infant care carry out feedings on a three hour schedule. he did alright for the whole day, but puked the late afternoon feed out probably because he was drinking too much and too fast. i'm thinking that he'll probably adapt to infant care better than his brother (because brother went at 1 year 1 month old, had separation anxiety, feeding woes etc)

Hello everyone! It's been ages since I last log in or read any post. This long weekend allows me some time to do things I enjoy .. Well, great to read that many sep babies are learning and growing up well.. My girl .. Sad to say, is a little spoilt! She can't go to sleep without me petting and nursing her. Now, I dunno what to do to wean her off.. Yikes! She also wakes up pretty frequently in the night still.. She shakes her head left right left right many many times then wakes up.. Hai.. Tiring on my part leh. But she seems to be able to recognize me and my husband Liao.. Also starting to be slightly choosy over her company.. How's everyone?

i need some advise here.. i will be gg back to work only on 1st Feb. Now thinking if i should still continue breastfeeding my girl after i return to work. I have bought Medela mini electric breast pump, used it only during the 1st month, as i think the pump is not very efficient in clearing my breast. Now thinking if i should buy another pump? Any good recommendation?

Me Me!! hehe.. mon is offical school reopen so i be back at work full time as driver! aiyo been waking up 9am everyday dunno how to tune back my body clock to wake up at 6am to send my boys to school. Thank God joseph has started to sleep thru the nite only wake up at 5am to drink milk then its back to dreamland again.
i think most of the ftwm here be gg back to work one by one hor..

oh yeah, i notice the pd aws will flip my boy here n there n check some stuff. i'm not sure what he's checking coz he's sooo fast!
but during the 3rd mth development check, he flip back n forth, see here n there a while.. then he can tick off the many items on the health booklet liao.
never go gp b4, so dunno if they'll do the same?

jul> erms. ya hor. shuld go pd for jabs, den can at the same time check the condition of my boy hor? keke. but than, pd not very convenient. the gp at my place allows us to make appt for baby jabs. dat y alot of babies go there for their jabs =p

just a random question... how long do u mummies intend to latch your babies? i mean when to wean off from breast? i heard of children who still want mummy's breasts when they are older...

Guess working mums are slowly going back to work one by one. Sigh. Me too. Officially starting work tomorrow. Dread it but no choice.
Cleared my 4 mths of ML. Actually went back for meeting last Wed. Been busy planning for work. Haven't logged in for a while and might not be able to do so for quite some time ahead.
Still gotta take my #1 and #2 to their kindergarten before I set off for work. Hope things will run smoothly at home with my 2 relatively new maids. Been training them for a month.
Pumping at Work:
I think I'll only have half an hour in between work to pump. Hope it'll be sufficient till I get home and pump longer at night to clear my boobs before supply runs low.
Jia1 you2 to all the working mums! Sure we can provide well for our babies, be it milk supply or financially!

You only pump once in the morning and once at night? I am also going back to work soon. I wonder how I can continue supplying the milk to bb. I only can pump in the morning and at night when I am home. I seriously doubt that I will be able to pump in the middle of the day since I will be out at customer site all the time.

Hi Michelle..my company have Baby room for employee who needs to bf, so i guess pumping during office hrs should be no plm. U using the ameda pump right? isit good? Not too sure if i should spend $$ on pump now? U also intend to send ur baby to infant care right?? Me too..but a bit se bu de..cant bear to see her cry, and very worried that no one will attend to her when she cries..haiz

Till today i still dunno how much my baby drinking per day, i m still feeding her on demand. But i top up with formula about 3 to 4 times a day, each feed about 70ml
Now very worry, dunno how to start schedule her feeding,and my medela mini electric is so lousy, make me lazy to pump

i brought my bb to have his hair cut botak today! finally!! cut real short... screamed and cried madly in the neigbourhood salon..
gotten have 3 adults handling him, granny carrying him, the main auntie to cut his hair, and another hair stylist auntie help to "hold" him in place....
almost every auntie in the area that passed by the salon, stopped and watched him cried during the process.... oh my... lol
he was starting to pull hair when agitated and when pained, cried even more... so now no hair to pull... he is going to pull and grabbed his ears (which he did in the salon).... lol
my boy changed pattern again!... refused both bottle and latching on... arghhhh

my bb is 16wks old. i think when to start swimming is probably up to the parents or based on baby's comfort level..so hard to say what age if u ask me.
the neck support is easy to put on, but you'd probably need another person to help hold her up straight coz u need both hands to put the neck float on.

according to books, stop dreamfeed bbs ard 7/8 months old. So u might wanna try later? For my #1, she stop the 11pm feed when she is abt 11months old.

Hi kiki,
Tried her on the swim last sat. she learn it v fast or maybe I can say all bb born to b a swimmer. Think I put too little water, she cannot stand. Either back kick or front kick.
But MIL kept complaining and say her neck will b very tired.
The neck float not easy to put on cos her neck still fragile and the float is hard
