Rach, I can't make it on Monday cause I'm going out with hubby. supposedly to celebrate my birthday... But we will also be having sushi.. lol at SAkura.. lol

rach> as i mentioned, 630ml is only for de 5times bottle feed. he still have another 2-3 times latch on a day which i dunno how much he drinks. but shuld be ard 110ml each round. thus making it 630+330=960ml a day =p

i still have not looked around for a playgroup for my girl yet...am wondering if should skip that and teach myself at home or not... something like home school lah. but worried later she may have socialising problems like become very shy etc.

I need your advices and experiences please?

RE: How to warm EBM when we're out?

When going out, for example for 2 feeds:
I currently will bring my chilled EBM prepared in 2 pigeon milk bottles which is stored in a cooler bag with cooling element (medela), a hot water thermos bottle and a plastic mug.

15 minutes prior to my baby's feed, I will mix the hot water with some cool/tap water in the mug and put the pigeon milk bottle to warm it up (have to do it twice to get the desire warmth).

My friend uses thermos mug instead of my method using plastic cup to warm the milk.

Really appreciate if you could share your methods please?

what u can do is.. take out the chill ebm b4 the feed.. like 20mins earlier (gotta try and error) .. let it stay in room temp. then warm it 5mins b4 the feed. Just need to warm one time. try to use a bigger cup. So that more hot water is used to warm the ebm. And when u pass by mac/kfc or any fast food. Just ask them to refill hot water. So far i been doing that haha they oso never ask y i need hot water keke

Oh yes, I never thought of that to bring the ebm out earlier to de-chill than warm it up. So clever!!

We Mummies mah, we always ask for hot water every where we go one :p hee hee so it's ok lah, I think they're use to it.
Sometimes I also lazy to bring hot water bottle flask (so heavy).

for my #1, i oso like u.. gotta warm 2x. after many months later then realise can do that! so not clever lah haha. So now #2 easy lah keke

haha yeah so heavy to lug the bottle flask keke! lucky sg full of fast food around. haha anyway, i use those metal container (with a handle) to warm my ebm. its bigger than a cup loh. you can try that.

Just got back from A&amp;E. Went to check my neck. Doc says nothing serious. Could be just a sprain. Gave me cream to apply instead of medication as he trying to minimise the medication in the breastmilk.

Now the real problem comes from the insurance claim. very troublesome and long procedure.

yesterday my cousin came over my place and she saw the amt of FBM i have stored so she requested to get some from me for her 5mths baby to drink.
I gave her 20packets of FBM containing 6sticks each. She even ask if i have spare to feed as she wants her son to drink breastmilk. So now she will come to collect from me on a weekly basis. So offically i'm providing for 4 children now.... lol reli makes me like a moo moo cow.

boobs powerful for my children but nt for my DH anymore. LOL
well maybe my hardwork paid off... i latched and pumped every 2hrs during the 1st 2 weeks of my confinement then followed by a 3hrs routine till early this month i started to be lazy.. now oni pumped every 4-5hrs.

now i olways go sakuraya buy sashimi to eat. but very costly. everytime 2 person eat abit only ended up 70++ liaos
