nice chatting with all of you at fish and co today =) i think smaller turnout is more conducive for interacting with everyone. my baby knocked out already cos he didnt nap well this afternoon. going to bath now and tuck my toddler to bed so that i can get an early night.

I was thinking if my #2 was anything like #1, then he would want to sit up all the time. And true enough, really is the same pattern!
When #1 was little I had the luxury of time to hold him upright and sit him in my lap, but now really no time leh. So in a way Bumbo really saves my ears from the screaming.
Like now, he's happily sitting in the Bumbo quietly watching #1 play. Otherwise like just now he was lying on the mattress, he kept screaming and screaming until I am almost deaf.

my boy is hovering around my computer now and he pointed to your girl and said she's "annie" - one of his classmates that he always play with in school. he always amuses me because he sprouts a lot of rubbish.

in my opinion, this is a MUST HAVE item at home. cos our children get accustomed to sitting on the high chair for meals at home = they get accustomed to sitting on high chair for meals outside home. else they will be a terror at restaurants, climbing all over the place.

That I have to agree with you. Must inculcate the habit of remaining seated when eating, otherwise very horrible when eating out!
What I did back then was to lock the wheels of the walker, cos had no $$ to get a decent high chair, and there's no space at home to put a bulky high chair either cos my stupid flat doesn't come with a storeroom. Basically is just have a place for him to remain seated throughout the meal, and that's it. I don't think it really matters if it's in high chair or bumbo or any other type of chair.

agree with Sandwich. it is a must have item. my #1 is using Ikea one. brand new is $20++ i think, i bought 2nd hand which costs $10++. many restaurants are using Ikea high chair, so i think it is a good (and cheap) investment to get Ikea high chair
since she could sit herself, we make her learn to remain seated during her meal time, when it is our turn to eat, she also sits with us.

$248 with my plan.. i changed to the Flexi plan which includes 200min talktime, 12Gb data usage and the usual 500sms...
$56/month.. but coz i have Mio Home, my plan has 25% off monthly subscription...
and its from Singtel obviously.... and it being the main key line for Mio Home, i am still entitled to free upgrade EVERY 12months..
so i dun have to bear the $300 penalty for 12months upgrade.
trade in my old old phone bought 2 years back for $60, and i called in before i went down to Hello shop, asked for vouchers...
and i got $40 voucher...
so in the end i paid $148 for the cool phone.. hiak hiak hiak!
but this is my main line, which most of u prob dun have the number..coz the number i used to sms u all is a student line, FREE UNLIMITED sms!!

I also thinking of purchasing iphone. With my current plan I will only need to pay $48 for 16G 3GS. My plan is high end cos I use a lot on my job and I pay only $48 each month. But my coy now plans to give us a mobile phone with SIM card. Maybe I don't need this high end plan anymore and may downgrade my plan. If I downgrade, then I will have to pay $668. Hiaz... Wonder if I should get the iphone.

hahha..yah.. the orginal price is $348.. but if i am willing to switch plan to the new Flexi-range of plans, it'll be $248..
so they just want us to change plans la.. u change plans..the phone gets cheaper..
but the difference in my plan is from 300min talktime, now only 200min.. but i get 12Gb data usage...
so its like more worth it..though i'll never be able to finish the 12Gb.. hahha....
my frens told me they use very hard only less than 1Gb loh.. hehehe....
and with that 200min plan, it comes bundled with 12Gb data - $56/month...
simple as that... as for the rest of the discounts.. yah.. coz of Mio Home, got more bundled discounts.. coz i've 3 lines under my name.. my parents's line + mine..
now singtel trying to fight with starhub and M1...so they offer the extra 12Gb data usage plans loh.. only for FlexiValue which is the 200min talktime plan..

telco war - kaoz tt stoooopid singtel is so disgusting! nv gave me vouchers when i called... now they desperate liao. i have been with them for 10 yrs leh! nv got voucher only 1 early upgrade last year... my starhub line is a lower end plan they also yi si yi si entertain me with $50 voucher... so now i upgrade my starhub n downgrade singtel... but singtel line is better but i really cannot tahan their cust svc!

something really stupid/malu/disgusting happened yesterday.
hubs and i went foot reflex and jacob was sleeping in his sling. so i tot finally i can massage my sore feet. while soaking our legs, he woke up so i fed him ebm which he took. then to my surprise, he quai quai sit on my lap and play with himself while my feet were massaged but i couldnt really enjoy cos scared he cranky want me to carry but he was good. then i smelled something and realised he pooed. was happy cos he has not pooed for 3 days. then he continued playing.
after a while, i felt something warm on my tummy and realised jacob wet my clothes! so must be the diaper leaked. but he was ok, nv fuss so i asked for a towel in case he cold while the massage continued. nearing the end, he fussed and i had to rushed to the nursing room with hubs to change him. and to our biggest surprise and disgust and amazement, it was shit that leaked and not urine.... and his crotch and stomach area was all soaked with shit!!! damn gross (and comical...) tt i decided to throw away the romper. while we were "scolding" him, he smile.... silly boy leh! we were really at a loss cos dunno how to clean him man... and i was down to my last TWO pieces of wet wipes and forgot to bring a change of clothes.. so hubs grabbed toilet paper and we cleaned him, wrapped him in blanket, tucked in sling and rushed home to give him a wash up. my nails also kena stained by his shit lor... should have taken a pix but was so pissed/amused/pek chek tt we din take!
and i had to throw away the towel borrowed from the shop cos i think its quite dirty liao.. so paiseh man!
