Fenugreek - Order on 1st Dec, arriving estimate end Dec. Please state your interest cause if not many ppl want, I just order 20 bottles. If more ppl want, then maybe I can order more bottles.

yes, can take fenugreek n dop concurrently. my gynae said it's very safe. can get from pharmacy but not sure if u need a prescription for it.

i dun use de pigeon storage bottles to warm de milk. i use dem purely for storing purposes so i can store de exact amt of his feed for him to bring to sch, so de teacher dun need measure n pour here n there

My baby used to have one bottle of FM every night now changed to BM cos she started sleeping till 4.30am, so I have enuf milk to pump (I usually pump once a day at around 11.30pm, lazy). Now she's refusing the bottle. Tried everything, different ppl feeding, changed teat etc etc. Argh, driving me nuts and I'm worried cos what happens when I go back to work?
I know it happens around this age but...

i'm reluctant to take medication medication to produce BM. as it is, taking fenugreek, i find that i'm smelling alittle funny. not loving it! :/

from 200ml a day to 800ml a day. so whats the pumping interval like? every how many hours u gals pump and pump for how long? when u take fenugreek, u said u took 6 tablets, at how many hrs apart may i ask? i'm wondering if i'm taking it too many hrs apart or not, thats why its like not working. i'm taking 6-7hrs apart.

actually i've a friend, her bb also poo once every 3 days, seems like ok leh..her bb is very healthy. so maybe nothings wrong...don't worry too much. if u're concerned, check with your PD.
i'm not sure if pooing 3-4 days considered constipated or not. but seems like for my gal's case, it doesn't affect her at all. she takes 75% or more in fact of FM (coz i really don't know how much BM she gets when latching) and her poo is 2-3 times a day. there are days when she will poo once only..but thats normally when her intake fluctuates to take in lesser milk. eg. usually her total daily intake is 750ml, somedays (don't ask me why, but according to PD its normal) it can drop to abt 550ml. almost like taking 1 or 2 feeds lesser!

wah...u got 'system' for doing things with your boy.lol. sometimes when my gal is awake for long hrs during the day, i don't know what to do with her. then i'd try my best to quickly pat her to sleep. somedays i can see that she is super alert, doesn't want to sleep at all...but i still like 'force' her to sleep coz else i can't do other things...or don't know what to do with her. i'm such a bad mom hor? haiz...

so your boy looks like michelle's boy? keke.. actually i think alot of babies look alike! like that time ling was saying her gal looks like mine. and i was telling mamato6js, her boy looks like my gal..also high forehead and the shape of the eyes.

I pump at regular 6 hr interval and I take two tablets at my first and last session. Each session about 15-20 mins (dual pump). I think, for me, it's the mentality that helps, not so much of the Fernugreek. Initially, I was pumping at regular 2-3 hr interval plus latching. Very stressful because I had needed to provide for 2 babies and yet my bm was insufficient. Then, I wanted to give up bfeeding and that was when my supply gradually increased.
Actually, i don't think fernugreek works for me because I was taking it initially but saw no improvement. Now, I am taking them again because I didn't want to waste my bottle. I only started taking after the supply went up.

i'm taking 3caps each time leh...9caps/day!! sian... sometimes i can pump over 1hr and still yield the amt pathetic amt. not even 50ml. actually i gave up pumping already, i'm just latching nowadays.

Yes, actually I am contemplating if I should stop bfeeding soon. But a bit wasted now that I finally have milk. I definitely won't want to continue once I go back to work next year.
I tell you what is pathetic - initially, I had to hand squeeze to get milk out (because the pump couldn't seem to "extract" anything) and can't even get 20ml per session.

bb sleeping: omg my girl had difficulty falling asleep just now. after bathing and stuff, thought she would fall aslp. in the end, her eyes look kinda puffy and i had to sling her to slp >.< she was awake from 4-9+pm. she just woke up awhile and i managed to coax her back to dreamland phew!
gathering: so nice to see everyone! i ish not efficient eh.. haven upload pics :x haha
swimming costumes: die the stretch marks decided to come hunt me only 7weeks after the birth of my girl!!! cant wear bikini le

actually my gynae said they prescribe doperidine together with fenugreek. but yeah, i also smell funny. pee smells funny too. i complained to my gynae n she said i must have taken a lot haha.
it's up to u whether u wanna try dop lor. i din even know abt it until i complained to my gynae abt milk supply. then when she told me abt it, i asked her why isn't it prescribed more readily. she told me they do, but i nvr say i got supply prob. hiaz..

shit.. i'm having this stupid lump on my breast now that cant be cleared with pumping.. grrr...
i pumped on it for 30min...still bery hard...

ahhh..finally after i switched to right and back to left, the blocked ducts are clearing.. yayy!!
Use just one side..coz wanted to pump only one side.. the other side has been just latched.. but surprised to see almost 30ml came out from the latched side.. wahhaha....
now the blocked ducts are gone gone gone!!
looks like nobody's online now....

think 1/3 of my wishes fulfilled.. 2nd nite of 6hrs uninterrupted slp!! Yeah but woke up with hard boobs.. Just latched and now pumping... If I don't wake up in the mid of nite to pump, will it affect my supply???
Birthday wishes 2 and 3: wish she'll slp earlier and longer, and for my supply to go up, up and up!!
