Hello mummies
I'm back!!!
Discharged from hospital on last Saturday.
Thanks everyone for your well-wishers last week.
Now log in just to let u know my latest update.

My gal is born on 26 Aug, at Mount A, by C-section with Epi.
Gynea Dr Adrian Woodworth
Birth weight 3.4kg
Length 50cm

Now doing the confinement.
Maybe due to i'm a first time mummy.
lots of things for me to learn.
That's why i always Feeling super tire and exhausted.

Anyway, glad that my C-section delivery was fast and smooth.
Will try to logged in again to share my delivery process with everyone.
Now i'm feeling very sleepy. Want to catch some sleep.

Read from the thread that all your appt. with Dr Wong is today? Hehe... very curious on the updates of your checkup. My next checkup would be on the 4 Sep, where if there is still no symptoms or whatsoever, Dr. might share with me more on what actions I can take. Really hoping that it can come naturally and deliver naturally. So now, my hubby has made a promised to "brisk walk" me daily for an hr. Haiz.. Really wonder if is it Dr Wong's personal opinion that 3 plus kg babies are big or is it that they are really big. As far as I know, my relatives has shared with me that my family has a history of big babies too, that is est. around 3.5kg babies... I even asked my hubby's sister about the weight of her 2 son's at birth.. they were both 3.6kg. There goes...

Ya lor. I thought so too.. Haiz.. Dunno why my gynae make me so gancheong say, must soon deliver, if not I'm going to have a difficult time delivering if my bb hits 3.5kg. But honestly, I already got a gut feel that my bb girl will hit at least 3.4kg if not 3.5kg by the time I deliver. She even sort of open the option of inducing to me lor, like seriously, is it necessary? hmm.. aiyah.. think I'll just watch what I eat and try to walk more la.. if still late, so be it. Let the bb decide when she wants to come out better.
Re: 1hr brisk walk
It was so long since I had a one hour brisk walk. Normally, I would only brisk walk for like 30 to 45mins, depending on how tired i would be after that. But last night, went walking with my hubby and he managed to push my session to an hr. Last night, I seriously felt my entire V like having "stitch" like that.. Also, can feel tightening of lower tummy while walking. But of course, the tightening of tummy went off once I reach home and sat down.. But the V area really hurt.. maybe it's trying to open? lolz. I can only continue my walking and see what the doctor say on this coming fri.. Wish me luck!

To sidetrack: iphone

Any mummies here using iphone or itouch? Recently, was mesmerise by the wonderful games and function in a iphone.. was thinking of getting one but found out that the price is damn expensive. Moreover, need to get a 2 yrs contract with singtel if I want to get an iphone. Can any mummies give feedback on the iphone or itouch if anyone is using them?

yup went to see Dr wong today... she commented my tummy is small leh but bb is average size lor. as of today at wk37 4d, bb is about 2.8kg. so she expects by due will be 3.2kg or so lor. bb is engaged already so i'm just waiting for the moment.. and she suggest some ways to 'naturally' induce bb if we want her to be early, such as walking, squatting, intercourse. u try lor..

iphone
yeah!! i'm using iphone!! if u want to get an iphone, it's best ur plan comes with data otherwise not very worth getting an iphone if u can only connect via wifi. cos any thing u touch can gets u connected to the internet if u use GPRS. i love the functions and the games... can surf net, check emails, FB, msn and many more.. but any pda phone works the same nowadays too. so far i'm a happy user of iphone and just change to 3GS when it first launch in SG. hope this helps..

TMC Visitors.

I just went to visit my gf there today, Slightly after 2pm to pass her some stuff and see her baby boy before going for my gynae appt. Since it was after 2pm... She told me that I could only be given 10mins. Fair enough. When I asked if my HB can follow me in also for 10mins. She said No. Thinking there were STRICT regulations... I asked my DH to wait for me outside the wards. Had to fill in another book upon reaching the outside of the wards and there would be someone who would use a pass to open the door for you. Don't you think the patients are like prisoners???

When I was in the room, My DH smsed me telling me he had seen 2 groups of 4 people going into the wards.... With their maid??? I think it is REALLY LAME that 4 people can go in.. Whereas my HB of ONE has to sit outside like an idiot!!!

If it's for the safety measures of H1N1... Then why are those people taking temperatures at the entrances of the hospital???

I would be taking a one bedded at TMC, but experiencing this today, I am really unhappy about the way things are done. Thinking of me having my privacy but, if my in laws were to come see me and they were to give this kind of stupid regulations to random UNLUCKY few... It SUCKS!!!

i also facet he same problems . im now 36 week. baby is 2.99kg. then my doctor said baby will go up to 3.5 kg, then he advise me to o for csection.. but i still want to try natural 1st. He said if can give birth early better , then ask me want to induce or not.. But after discussion with my familyh, better let baby be natare give birth, dont induce her...
what is your hight? im 1.55 so he said my baby is too big

Your princess is heavier than my prince leh. At least yours engaged liao.. mine still not engaged yet!!! Many of my friends ask me don't squat... but i have been squating to do my laundry! But my baby still haven't engaged. LOLS. I hope i don't have to induce by the time comes! Till now i also no 'feel' baby will come within these few days.. next week is 2nd wk of september liao... fast fast!

Now your baby engaged liao, you can breathe very well?? Any discomfort you felt at the bottom?? LOLS

enxuan> haha. i no need walk long, oredi got tat feeling below. really scare bb will drop out anytime. so now i dare not walk fast. slow walk is ok. cos i still like to go shopping. but now really feel tired on the soles.

good for you wor... I think yours is about the right size at the right time.. haha.. for me was that, baby was 2.6kg at 37 weeks, then at 39weeks, she was like 3.175kg. lol..
still contemplating whether should i get iphone or itouch, but won't be soon la.. I love the games... better than my ds lite and psp.

Not sure if it's like half squat or full squat? Any mummies can advise? hehe...

I'm 1.62cm tall. Not very tall also la. the thing about pregnancy, which I've realised, is that they are very unpredictable. Who knows, maybe your bb might want to come out earlier? hehe... Will keep talking to bb, entice her to come out earlier!

Pamelia, ya, TMC is very strict. Even stricter than KKH. Alot of 'security' to go through. I had a difficult time trying to visit my friend. In the end, I was escorted by the security guard to the ward and was given only 5 mins. But was talking with my friend and got carried away. In the end, I stayed for 30 mins. Ha, ha....

Went down to the Taka Baby Fair. Feel that they have quite good deals. Was looking at the Maclaren XT Techno and they were selling at $398. That's the best offer I have found. In addition, the Bumbo seat and the tray are going for quite a good price. Bought that because it helps with baby's sitting posture.

shelled, your confinement over liao arh? That's really fast wor! Good to know that you are managing well with two boys all by yourself =)

That is certainly one part that I don't miss about being pregnant all the kaypoh strangers speculating about my bb's gender, EDD, etc. Then the kind of pleased look they have when they guess correctly. And the arguments (supported by inaccurate old wives' tales) when they guess wrongly. URGH indeed.

I don't have bad skin even though both my kids are boys lor. No logic one leh.

Hello!!!

Ok, i've not gone through the archives, not a super mummy yet, simply caught off guard!!! Definitely not expecting to deliver on my 37th week!

Jus a quick update, i've given birth on 27th Aug, via emergency C-sect with epi after my stubborn cervix refused to open more than 1cm for 1 day 1 night (Shelled, this i win you hands down).

Wgt: 3.325kg
Lth: 48cm

Still trying to cope, so will update my birth story again..

Congrats to those who had popped too!

that's why i refuse to tell anyone (other than my husband and #1) abt #2's gender. and then can listen to them offer their speculations abt whether #2 is a boy/girl and why. just over the weekend, my MIL was saying my stomach is pointed, number #2 is a boy etc. shall tell her the gender only after i've given birth.

i didnt pop on friday 28aug, i am already inside the delivery theatre getting ready but my gynae decided to cancel the operation as i am having fever and blood infection. he didn wanna take the risk. So he reschedule the c section to 01 SEPT but this morning i went to c my gynae to check the usual vagina discharge i had whether izzit water leak or jus normal discharge and he confirm my water leak. so i wemt for my c section today instead

Paisay miss the post, been busy

Update of my Gynea visit today.. kinda sad...:

-my bb head has been always down but not down enuf, mean Not engage.
-Am in 40week preggie,Overdue 3days..BB weight 3.3kilos.
-Water level have increase! amazing last mon was 7, today at level 8. tat a good news.
- Im dilated 0.5cm
- during VE, Dr wong decide to help me a little to expand my cevix, damn painful and i been bleeding the whole day & contraction pain...Hope my bleeding stop by tomorrow.
- Due to bb not engage & bb weight, Dr Wong have give us the option for c-section. as Dr wong worry tat after induce bb may not able to come out?!! SOBZZZ..
- Happy news, my breast has start producing milk/colostrum,, damn painful when DR wong Squeeze my breast and there alot of water come out, she say dun waste and apply back to my nipple, and say your bb so lucky, haven come out mummy already got milk.

Hubby has been persuading me since.. to go for c-section to cut the story short and for the safety of bb & me.. and dun wish me to go thru all suffering and at the end.. still need c-section...

I Am Totally blank in my mind now.... Tis situation come to sudden to me.... all this while i tot my bb head down mean bb engage...

Will back to visit Dr Wong again on Friady. to see the progress

.. CRY**** so sad..... im total speechlesss and oso lost....

DR wong only say u can try induce first and go by virginal birth.. but if bb still cant come out. next will be c-section..

so hubby mark her words if the end still cant come out,c-section, so hubby think why not straight away go for c-section lor...
