Anyone bought this item to clean baby's nose? Is it neccessary for us to get this? I think i saw this stuff is PIGEON brand. How do we actually use it and when do we have to use it? Anybody to 'enlighten me'? LOLS.

I understand how upset you can get. Partially the same issue for me here, Just that they don't really interfere with my privacy and offered to do my confinement for me. Just that she told my HB to tell me to bath the BB myself? And that my dog was kind of a threat to the baby's health. ( His 7 mth old niece and mine soon to come ) I can't and don't wanna move home during confinement because my Mom is a lame piece of **** who wanted me to PAY HER for looking after me during that one month, And she said that I cannot bring my clothes back to wash because I am " poured out water " So who will wash my clothes for me? My HB will have to bring bags of my clothes to the Self washing laundromat to wash... And SPEND MORE MONEY!!!
The HB sleeping with you part, Kinda lame... I only heard cannot go out during the one month because those "dirty things" will follow us or something ( Especially now going into 7 mth yea? ). So you have to talk to your HB to let his parents know what the both of you want to do and whatever consequences you both will bear it. My HB says he will bath BB everyday for me before he heads to the salon. ( Pray that BB don't perspire if not I will have to do it after he leaves home ) I have my fears that my MIL will think I am lazy too ( But I am NOT ) >.<

Precisely loh. Everything is just for their own CONVENIENCE i can say. It's always like that. I have gone through so much hell, buckets of tears, tons of heart attack with them. And i have not open my mouth to SHOUT or SHOOT back directly! YEARS already... i tolerate! I teared, i argued, i complaint..... all behind close door to my hb! I am still very filial and respect them. But yet people staying in the same house could say i am NOT RESPONSIBLE etc!!!! Even say i 没有家教!!!! ROAR! Close door already cannot sleep well with my MIL frequent banging on my door, twisting the door knobs, coming in when i never lock door...... she did that is to SEE if my hb is at home..... see one time not enough, must see at least 5 times within few hours! This morning, 7 times within 30 mins!
Nobody can help me except HDB and the contractors doing the entire house. >.<
I'm dying to shift out. So everything i think of that, i am happy. Making me MOOD SWING like shit. LOL!

Most of my clothes i wash myself, even with my big belly! Before i was pregnant, i even help to iron everybody's clothes, fold everybody's clothes!!! ( i did that even before i got ROM!!!!!!! willingly~) Now pregnant, my hb say don't do. PHEW! Haaaaa....

Precisely! I feel they seemed to come from ancient years like that..... the weather FREAKING hot... they think don't bathe ONE MONTH and live without any minimal cooling temperature is NOT PROBLEM. Basically they're not us, they say until SOUND so EASY. He could even tell me, "忍一个月就好了。没什么大不了。" And said my MIL last time also like that. How true, i cannot be bothered. LAst time police wear shorts, now police wear long pants. @_@ *rOLLmyEYES*
Usually he don't really interfere in my privacy but each time very near the important date, he will say and demand stupid things. I gone through so much.. really so much.. even life & death things before wedding, i also kena! I will never be able to forget loh. Not say i very un-forgiving or what. But it's really very ridiculous! -.-
Your case and my case similar. Problems are really created by these elders rather than ourselves. Don't know what their brain are made of! Seriously making us even more frustrated! Thinking we are in the modern generation... will harm their grandchild like that! Stupid thinking and stupid reasoning!

Usually we don't really go out like normal days during confinement period.. but i know i sure have to get out of the house for few hours. To go ICA and do birth cert, maybe i need to go back to gynae's clinic for what check up? Maybe i need to go back to mum's place just to do massage? ALso not go shoppingggg.... so if i step out and FIL kpkb... i act DEAF and ask hb to settle. I am not going to settle. I keep my COOL! I must try to keep my COOL! I don't want to get postnatal depression because of my ignorant & problematic FIL.

7th month - i am always scare one lor. That's why i insisted my hb to stay with me when i'm at ESH. That time when i was admitted to KKH, i was so scared and tramatized even it's BROAD DAYLIGHT leh! Last few days when my hb slept in the living room and i alone in the room, i was already scared and kept thinking there's ghost and monsters around! Wahahahahaaa......

bt i luv coconut leh...esp wif this kind of weather...if u dun like the taste, can juz haf at least 1-2times per wk? coz since u 38 weeks le, at most drink 3-4times if u gonna delivered exactly at 40wks...so that bb will be cleaner and less heat rashes...
And i haf passed the B strep test. Juz a lil yeast infection which are gao tim wif a single dose of medication inserted into the V...

cleaning of bb's nose...actually i find using the 'kiap kiap' thing easier...haha...actually it look something like the eye brow tweezer and we can actually pinched out the nose dirt. I had tried using the 'kiap kiap' and 'pump pump' bt personally find the tweezer like thing is better for extracting the dirt...
the oil u r refering to izzit the lu yi you?? some bb tend to haf colic or wind in the tummy after a milk feed coz might haf swallow air during the process...juz haf to pour a lil bit of the oil on ur palm, rub ur palm till they turned warm then gently rub on bb's tummy with an up to down motion...

C-sec with Epi + 3 days stay = $3183, for NORMAL 1-bed
Mine is slightly customised bill due to staying in Premier Ward, so it's:
C-sec with Epi + 2 days stay = $2135
Premier Ward charges (Accomodation) = $546
Total = $2861
So even if I had stayed 3 days, my total would still have only come up to $3349 for Premier Ward. So it's still somewhat correct?

What exactly do you mean by "ala carte" billing?? If you referring to itemised billing, like stating VE how much, pads how much, this kind of thing hor, last time when I stay TMC 2-bedded also have itemised billing leh. That's how I found out they charged me $20+ to shave my pubic area! That's why I told mommies better to go BW before delivery.
I think the maternity package price only includes room rate + medical procedure fees (ie: in my case, cost of C-sec).
So late you just come back from dimsum feast?!

Mine is slightly customised bill due to staying in Premier Ward, so it's:
C-sec with Epi + 2 days stay = $2135
Premier Ward charges (Accomodation) = $546
Total = $2861
So even if I had stayed 3 days, my total would still have only come up to $3349 for Premier Ward. So it's still somewhat correct?

Yah, my total gynae fee for the whole hospitalisation is $2400. Maybe cheaper cos she's the gynae for the Katong branch of Thomson Women's Clinic? So got "friend friend" price for delivering in TMC?

What exactly do you mean by "ala carte" billing?? If you referring to itemised billing, like stating VE how much, pads how much, this kind of thing hor, last time when I stay TMC 2-bedded also have itemised billing leh. That's how I found out they charged me $20+ to shave my pubic area! That's why I told mommies better to go BW before delivery.
I think the maternity package price only includes room rate + medical procedure fees (ie: in my case, cost of C-sec).
So late you just come back from dimsum feast?!

i oso forgot e massage moves tat mrs wong taught us.. only remember e "i love u", cupping of e hands to "scoop" e wind from chest downwards n walking of e fingers fr left to rite (i tink) to "break" e air bubbles..

wah ur Fil really one kind one hor. but its weird cos usually its the MIL v v troublesome n fussy one but ur case is ur FIL? why would he wanna meddle into so much of his son's family affair? i think he got nothing better else to do is it? go ask him to join the senior citizen club in CC lah and take his mind off all these nitty gritty stuffs which he shouldnt even have a hand lor. so petty leh. and abt ur hub cat sleep with you cos u r dirty? tell him then might as well quarantine u and everybody move out for time being cos u r dirty woman for the whole mth. morning mummies...i'll be delivering nxt fri at TMC..scheduled c-sect...will be taking 1 bedded..this is my 2nd delivery..1st was emerg c-sec as i stop dialating at 3cm..this time rnd doc advice me nt to try VBAC as baby is bigger this time...

oic.. i also going to c-sec cos my 1st one was emerg c-sec too cos dialted until 4cm then stop liao. So this time round, the gyane advised me to opt for c-sec. I choosing 8days before my EDD date and haven told my gynae but wondering the date I chosen too near to EDD date.

moojenn, it's ok to choose a date 8 days before..even if the baby wanna come out earlier they still wont charge u as emerg c-sect coz u already plan to c-sect...anyway which date did u choose? which hosp r u gg?

Are you not suppose to drink Black Chicken Herbal soup at this point? Because my MIL made it yesterday and I drank it and felt awful after. Hot, my belly hurt but I managed to rest a little and even went for my walk.
But before I went to sleep it started again 12mn, soooo hot, thirsty and when I woke up at 1.30am again because it was sooo hot and I had to drink lotsa water before finally falling asleep again.

If you find your Braxton Hicks painful then maybe you're doing too much? Try having a sit or lie down on your side (not your back). If that doesn’t work try gently moving around a bit or relax in a warm bath. It's also possible you could be a bit dehydrated, so drink plenty of water.

my gynea haven advise me whether my will be C-section or Natural yet
. my bb head is down but not down enuf yet and gynea is yet to do VE on me. my next gynea appt is next monday..
the last Gynea visit last wed, she say i still got alot of water bb still able to move around, tat all. oso my bb weight still ok..
so am not sure wat bb weight then mus go for c-section?
