sorry to interrupt. I am a June mother and have received quite a few branded baby clothes which I am looking to let go at very cheap prices.
Brand new baby clothes from Ralph Lauren, Zara, Guess, Carters, etc for sale at very cheap prices. Received most of them as gifts (tags still intact) and wanna let go cuz my gal has too many clothes. Then it's prob not so serious that u have to panic. Just follow ur doc's advice on salt intake & medication. Hopefully after a week, the BP will go down. I heard it's common for preggie mums to have some increased BP.
 
Hi Mummies!

Long time no post cos I shifted in mid June and only got internet last week! Was so super sian not being able to read the forum.

You guys make me so kan chiong! I haven't packed yet, baby clothes are not ready and I haven't even bought the cot!! The midwife wants to visit me next week and the new place looks so bare and dirty. STRESS!!

About walking and inducing labour. For the whole pregnancy, I have been walking my dog for 7km daily and everything was alright. After I shifted, I spent more than 12 hours a day on my feet for 2 weeks unpacking and cleaning and what not. Knew that my uterus was tightening on and off but I just passed it off as BH's contractions till I went to see the gynae. Alamak, I had preterm contractions that were effacing my cervix. Luckily with no funneling. They didn't even hurt at all. My uterus just felt tight! Was told to keep life off the fast lane till 34 weeks. So now I'm living in a mess and have a valid excuse not to do anything... hahah.. poor HB.

Wish I could join you guys for the outing. Would be fun to see how round everyone is

Yeah lor! Can you believe it?! I shifted twice in a time span of 4 months lor. What to do? Couldn't find the 'right' apartment in the beginning lor. Nice to 'see' you guys again..

WAHAHA.. that was a good one. My silly dog is a hunting dog and he YEARNS for long daily walks. Feel a bit sorry for him recently as he is reduced to retrieving sticks. At least he can run and I can stay put right? hehheh..

I'm in Germany, guess you forgot! Gynae didn't order bedrest but I told hub that it's better if I do nothing from now on (evil laugh).

You must be getting excited about the impending DDay! If your baby boy is already 2.6kg at 34 weeks, he must be at a nice hefty weight at 38 to 40 weeks!

Oh yes, very excited about D-day! And when it's actually gonna be. I'm surprised you actually went thru the old posts and found out my bb is already 2.6kg already. SO sweet of you to remember (unlike me). I'm ashamed of myself.

maybe u'd like to go kiddy palace to check the cot mobile out instead. there like got more variety. was juz there earlier and i saw some nice ones for less then $40. and there was this winnie the pooh one, with nightlight, looks so cute, but more ex at $79.90. if u have kiddy palace card maybe got discount? i'm not too sure if its a nett item though.

Thought it's not a MUST to put the musical mobile but i understand how you feel....... cos i think i am like you... we wish to put one musical mobile at the cot yet it's so expensive... would rather spend that amount on something which we need more right.... cuddles!!!!!

LOL! i always ask alot of rubbish questions and very curious one..... hahaa.. but really leh.... how come last time women can go through labour w/out any pain relief and like so easy.. .can give birth like 10 kids!!!! and my mum 5 kids.... woah... hahaa.... maybe it's the way we think??????? we must not let our mind control us leh..... very dangerous hor...... :)

Hahaa.... i also heard about taking hot drinks will help with milk supply... :) dont know why i like those wholemeal bread or grains bread instead of white bread..... i can still take these kind right??? :)

i will pray very hard to have a smooth, painless, easy, fast delivery for myself... and most important i really must have positive mindset... keep thinking of my baby and not pain pain.... heeee...

i didnt really take much prenatal pills cos i have problem in swallowing pills... now i just keep trying to swallow loh.... not easy leh.... hard for me... LOL! the iron pills is quite important... for your blood... i cant really remember the exact purpose of iron pills but i know is vital for us.. LOL! .

Hmm.. so can drink hot milo and bread or biscuits for morning during confinement i can settle one meal a day liao.... then got to settle the other 2 meals... :) heeeee....... i saw those like packets ah... oats milk or what.. that one also can take anot??? hahaa....

But i heard taking hot drink during breastfeeding will increase milk supply one leh... this one i will try and see true or not when the time comes... hahahaa....

I used to drink milo every morning with soda biscuits and 2 soft-boiled eggs for breakfast daily during 1st confinement. AND milo plus 4 slices of wholemeal bread spread with butter daily during 2nd confinement. wholemeal more nutritious though doesn't taste as gd as white bread. can toast it to make it tastier...

oh by the way can share ur blog again?? wanna ask u bt keep 4getting.

You mean to start taking baby coconuts? Can lah. In fact some of the mommies here say cannot take too early? So start now should be quite safe lah. In fact, nowadays so warm, take coconuts is very cooling and nice! I had 2 yesterday cos too warm, I cannot take it. Drink already whole body feel cooled down and very shiok!

no problem lah. Can always blame it on the pregnancy hormones.. HA. Nah, was stuck in my mind like.. WOAH 2.6kg! They say the last few weeks, babies gain about 200g per week. So if your baby boy hits the 40 week mark, he should be around 3.8kg?! Nice weight! It's obviously quite common here for babies to be over 4kg. Heard of one case.. 5.5kg!! ALAMAK! Must be all the bratwurst!

My 1st gynae is SUPER ANTI epidural as he said there's alot of side effect. He even said tere was a case in MT. A where a mummy become paralyzed after using epidural. I duno if it' true or he's just scaring us. But I dun tink he will use such a thing to scare us lor.

Like cloudme mentioned, there are other options like the gas / injection. Those worked just as gd as epidural &amp; has lesser side effect</font>

Don't scare me lah. 3.8kg sounds like a large one to push out! This will be my first vaginal delivery (if all goes well) so I'm hoping everything goes smoothly. I think 5.5kg is classified as macrosomia already, not considered "normal" anymore.

erm...no loyalty hamper. bt then it doesn't really matter what the hamper consist of lor...bt think the hospital has done a nice job by letting the patient feels appreciated of their presence once again...

yupz.. he has to be till hits 2kg lor. But I tink it shouldn't be long &amp; he will be joining us @ home. Though there will still be lots of follow up after his discharge but it doesn't matter as long as he's healthy &amp; home with me.

yea.. i tink cos the epidural space where the needle is inserted is very very near the spine.. so its dangerous lo.. a little movement can caused serious injury or probs n like what u mentioned; paralysis...
