washing baby clothes,
ok, i'm gonna start washing my baby clothes from tomorrow on. got to start somewhere! i'd start with the bedding sets first. but how to wash the cot bumper? or cot bumper don't need to wash?? i scared the foam spoil if its being washed in the washing machine. how do you gals wash it? or never wash??

are any of you interested in getting the wo hui du series of books/flash cards. there are 5 levels in all, and each level is retailing at $74. i've found a distributor who is willing to give us 15% discount (each level $62.90) if we buy in bulk.

ya... somedays i dun surf the forum at all, then it moves so fast, so i normally skim thru all the post (speed read) and usually take notice only if someone addresses to my nick
today i'm more 'free' so thats why more active and chatty.
hmm...regarding the bras, ok, i see see look look first ya? but i'm not very keen to buy bras without trying leh, coz me quite fussy, later if i dun like than wasted! but the padding looks thick! if include the breast pads, won't it be thicker? i scared later feel bery warm... will or not ah?

the supplier allows change after u buy.. but u gotta post it back to them..and pay for both way postage.....

got a (stoopid?) question here: hope experience mommies can help.

i'm not an experienced mommy since i'm having #1 only. but i think the tong doesn't need to be sterilised?? coz its for picking up the hot bottles and parts so that you dun burn your hand mah. if u sterilised that too, then use what to pick up the already sterilised bottles?! besides, the baby and milk won't come into direct contact with the tong, so i believe it doesn't need to be sterilised lah. just wash with the baby detergent can liao.

Talking about weight gain... I'm now 62kg going to be 63kg already. Am now at 32 weeks. which means i have gained 13kg liao.
Alot of ppl who saw me walking is asking me when am i gg on maternity leave as my tummy looks big plus my tummy is growing outwards so it makes me look more heavier.

Woah! Wait so longggg to see gynae ah????? 31 weeks head done and got a LETTER already... making me panic and scare also leh. I think i start to have rojak feelings. SOmehow i feel happy that in less than 10 weeks time we will deliver yet scared cos of the pain etc. OMG! My rojak-feeling-bowl getting bigger and bigger until going to become a POT liao..... My last visit my gynae also ask me to cut down on oily, sugary, fried food. STARCHY food is like those yellow noodles and what else??? Now i start to watch what i eat also.... end up i buy oat and wheat biscuits.. don't know okay or not...! LOL! You're much taller than me but i'm only 5kg lighter than you in terms of pre-pregnancy weight! GOSH!

Last night my baby also gave me 2 hard kicks until i shouted at night! Frightened my hb loh... then my hb went to talk to him and he never kick so hard liao... hahahaha.... later my baby thought i always complaint to my hb also ah... hahahaa.... sigh! i think my fil also knows i dont care liao... as long as i know what i do is correct that's it! hahaa... you are not teaching me bad loh... you are teaching me how to protect myself MORE. whahahahaaaa...... initially wanted to tell hb why not i start new job after CNY which is MAr.. i think he will cry leh... i never work more than one year... tough leh! all savings also gone liao le...... sigh, nvm i just try my best and see how.. settle one by one first! hahaa

my favourite color is PINK loh.... but i also cannot buy pink.... i bought some in blue only... and the rest are like neutral color!!!! Too many blue later i become so blue leh! Hahaha...

I am like you loh... getting up from bed is like old lady getting up... have to press on the bed or hold onto something... sometimes i accidentally press my hb's leg! And he kena frightened! Hahahaa..... night time i flip and flip like peng satay like that.... so hard to sleep.... my preparations also not really done... and last night my hb was telling me... i think time to pack your bag soon... i was like.. oh finaly you ask me to pack my bag ah! i thought he doesnt even feel gancheong! hahahahaaa... i think now he start to gan cheong liao... your SIL so good huh.... sponser you in getting something so expensive... good good! heee... my cousin's sil also sponser her baby cot all those... my SIL leh..... sponser me lots of curse! wahahahahahaaa..... BTW what's the difference with the S707 and S705.. cos some of my friends wanna get the S705 but since so many places OOS maybe i an help her check it out...

I realised NTUC sells it cheaper than at Kiddy Palace even though KP put there as offer! End up, i also went to buy the Pigeon wipes from NTUC...

Nowadays strollers are really costly yah! Spending $300+ on my Capella i already find it so expensive.. but on the market i still see strollers costing $400+ onwards! I have not seen the S707 before but i don't think it's to replace the S705,V2009 leh cos the V2009 just came out not long only!

FIVE nursing bras?! I only had 3 last time leh. After milk stabilise (and nehneh size change) then I buy a better-fitting nursing bras. You better don't buy 5 now lor. Who knows who size you will grow into when milk comes in!

I presume as long as you get ready all of bb's things before 36wks, should be ok lah. But after you move in to your new place, you'll have to unpack the boxes and all that, right? i said no.... i had contractions!!! and he was stunned... how can it be??
then i gotta explain to him BH. hahahha....

me also targeting to move by end of this month or early aug!! die die also wanna move.. haha.. will be doing confinement at my mum's place so most of the stuff already parked there. As for washing of bb clothes, etc, my mum will wash for me.. she says mayb this week if weather is gd.

ah ma design is fine with me actually, coz only wearing at home. comfort more impt for me for home wear.
so prefer no padding at all since will be using breast pads to prevent leakage already. i seriously dun think i'd be nursing outside at all. i already got some larger normal bras already for going out use, so that should be able to tong for a while when i do get bigger.

btw, the brochure of s705 printed as version 2008 leh.. even when i called up robinsons, they say s707 is version 2009 de.

naforye lighter and no "body-form", but washable =) but forgot the diff of canvas n nylon leh.. oops...

pls becareful ladies moving hse and cleaning. can easily hurt urself de.. my sis last time cleaned her hse and "Dong Le Tai Qi" and was hospitalised and bed-ridden. was in her last trim too.

But I think JL and OG both have nursing bras <$10 if you wanna try. Have to ask the mommies for a review though, not sure comfy or not.

But this HAS to be BEFORE AUGUST!! I have a feeling that this bb will come between 37-40wks, instead of dragging it on like #1.

I just bought mine from OG today. there's a 20% disc now ($12.90 b4 disc), which works out to be abt $10+ nia.
it's not really padded (just like 2 layers of cloth), but the cotton is soft & comfy, and it's non-wired. mine had lace but it's not those fashionable one - just functional. there's another type which is slightly more padded and i think it's $9.90 b4 disc, but they ran out of my size.
given tt it's not really padded, it's prolly not suitable to be worn under tight tops, but i thot it wld be good to wear at home or with loose clothing (since u'll oso put breast pads). u can check it out in their maternity section if u are interested (but i'm not sure when will the offer end)

i love pink too! my gal's stuffs r mostly in pink and her room is in pastel pink. she doesnt get sick of pink leh instead she is addicted to pink. anything other than pink or purple she refuse to wear!!!
