i'm also envious! only 7kg? wow, how do u do it? i was at ikea ytd and went to weigh myself on the weighing scale. i think it must be broken! it says i'm 60kg now. 2 wks ago at the gynaes, i weigh 57kg, so how can i be 60kg now? that would mean i put on 3kg more in 2wks?! if so...i think my weight is going outta control. sigh.... oh well, heck it, will think abt how to lose it only after i give birth! :p

ya lor.. ridiculous hor? when i told my hb abt it, he also laughed, and he said 'aiya, all mums of coz love their own children more'... anyways, i dun have hard-feelings against her for suggesting that lah, juz a little shocked niah, u know what i mean? keke... but come to think of it, if my hubs complained to my mum, she's also tell him the same thing, why dun HE sleep on the sofa outside instead. HA!

I realise something.. My gynae's digital scale seems to read my weight a bit lower than those spring type of scale. B/c when I weighed myself at Ikea, I was 65+kg, but at gynae's I was only 65kg (Haha ONLY indeed).

Haha true lah. My MIL better.. b/c she also complains abt FIL being noisy when he snores. So she aws complains abt having to poke him awake to turn over so he stops snoring haha. She nvr ask me to sleep outside heehee. But she also nvr tell her own son to sleep outside lah :p

Leave all the cleaning up after reno to your hubby. You just use eye power can already. I did that when I did my reno... SO glad that it's over! The whole place was dusty and messy.

Haha I will leave the cleaning to my part-time helper. I booked her liao to come in twice that week after reno ends. Coz need to wipe cupboards, air them, clean floor etc.

HB also quite poor thing. He's been very stresed abt the reno. More b/c he insisted on buying more furniture &amp; re-organising the study. So he's been working on his study plans every nite for the past week or so.

And he needs to jaga the contractor during reno period. And paint the bedroom (plus the stupid mouldy toilet ceilings) on the weekends. Cannot expect him to clean up also lah. He also not enough leave.

With PT helper, she can do it on weekdays &amp; I will be able to move in &amp; enjoy my new bedroom much earlier. Plus I also gancheong to start washing stuff &amp; setting up BB room.

Physically prepared cos i dont know if i have the stamina to push and push, think need to do some exercises... hehe
Mentally prepared - okie been preparing since i know of my pregnancy but then still don't know wat to expect when bb is out.
Technically prepared - I don't know if i have the skills to be a mother! haha i think i still have phobia carrying a nb!! have not packed my stuff also. think i better get started to pack my bag and get bb's stuff ready soon too.

Although i yearn to see my bb in person, I do not wish bb to come now cos she's still so tiny. mayb early September won't be consider too early ba?

Huichern, wow u only gain 7kg? i already 11kg at wk30!! wonder how much more i will gain for the next 2 months. Then need to exercise very hard to get back my pre-pregnancy weight!

who says only boys will kick more? i think my gal very cho lor leh, wonder if she become tomboy anot. Hehe... now i know she's upside down.. and i can feel flying kicks every night before i sleep. Just this morning, she's been kicking non stop below my chest! wonder if it's due to the tea i drank that makes her so active hor..

i like pink a lot and have been buying a lot of pink stuff too that my hb was kinda of put off.. wonder if my gal will get sick of pink or likes it too hor.

hehe..yeah, well, dealing wif MIL, its all abt tact lah, knowing what can say and what cannot say. especially if u know they very 'sayang' and 'pamper' their sons. but to give my MIL some due credit, she's quite ok lah, not the very nasty sort, we still get along quite well. just that she does spoil her sons and grandchildren.

but my hb is ok lah, he does try to 'learn'. but when i first married him, i nearly went bonkers, especially after we got our own place. i realised he's very pampered by his mum, dunno how to do housework at all, very messy boy! i juz told him straight, you pampered by your mum, so was i, i grew up with maid somemore leh. so if i can learn to do housework, you also got to learn...we got to do together. i'm your wife, not the maid! :p

you got a part-time helper from agency is it? how much you're paying ah? let me know if good or not. i think i may need to get one when i'm doing confinement. else i doubt my poor hub can cope with helping out with baby and got to do all the hsework.

Eh, my MIL said the same thing about my hubs' snoring. Pekchek lor. Why can't her precious non-pregnant son sleep in the living room instead?! MIL said "Cos he must go to work, so he need better sleep than you." WTF?!?! It's even more shocking because MIL is a woman and was pregnant before, so I don't understand how she can be so... insensitive towards pregnancy discomforts.

2wks gain 3kg is not exactly uncommon. I did that when I had #1. Explains how I put on 20kg in total!!

Yup yup. The ANEBODA is very good indeed. Big and deep drawers, can put everything inside!! But I advise down the road you have to buy some child lock cos my boy open/close the drawers until ball bearings dropped out. Now the drawers don't slide properly, therefore just throw away lah. I've shifted all the boys' things into the walk-in wardrobe to put with our clothes.

I just got back from my Gynae appt. Was 9-10am but I only managed to see W.K.Tan at 12+pm ~.~

Me and DH fell asleep outside XD.

You know what? At 31wks, My baby is head down! Which leaves me happy and scared! XD

She gave me a letter to keep in my bag and told me to keep it with me at all times in case of "emergency".

i dun wanna put on 20kg! pls dun scare me leh...i'm hoping can 'cap' at 15kg max. 20 kg how to shed after pregnancy?? me not tall like you leh. if i put on 20kg, gosh... i will lose all my 'image' :p and feel really lousy!

I also feel you are underweight, cos I am 1.68m and 81.3kg now! But my doc say everything good leh. My "ideal healthy weight" is supposed to be 63kg, as measured by GP, gynae AND gym personal trainer. I have no idea why my ideal weight is supposed to be so high lor!! They all tell me I cannot go under 60kg, otherwise will have health problems due to being underweight. My weight always makes me feel so fat lah!

your gynae said you're overweight? hmm.... i'm beginning to wonder if my gynae has been too 'kind' to me. he always tells me my weight is VERY good...so i juz happily eat eat and eat lor! now apparently i'm 60kg, standing at 164cm. so if you're overweight, then what am i? grrrrrrrrr...............

Me not very thin to begin with . Also i'm quite short 1.54cm i think. Now i'm already 55kg liao. :p

Don't envy lah, hopefully my weight won't suddenly increase haha. But i felt heavy already. As long as bb healthy can liao.

Ya ya ya! My MIL always say I must give in my hubs because he is working, and that is what a wife is "supposed to do". Please lor, what era already?!

20kg can be lost quite easily, actually. Once bb pop out, 3 days later I lost almost half of it liao. Then the next 5kg was gradually over the next 4-5 mths doing BF. Then the remainder 5kg... I think my body kept it as a souvenir and refuse to lose it!

I even went to gym and all lor. Just DIE DIE refuse to go under 70kg. Pre-preg I was 68kg.

I am not really all that tall lor! And you are also not that short what. How much weight you put on in total by now? The last few weeks hor, weight gain is usually fast &amp; furious one lor! My gynae wants to cap me at 10kg, but she had to extend the cap to 12kg cos I already gain total 8kg by now. She says hard to stay under 10kg liao, seeing how I'm 34wks and bb will grow bigger and faster in the coming weeks.

Yah, i'm 1.68m. Or so I'm told. Hmmm come to think of it, I think all the times you saw me I was wearing heels. So yah, you were misled into thinking that I am much taller, seeing how my heels are mostly at least 3 inches tall. HEE HEE.

my pre-pregnancy weight was 48kg, now if really 60kg, it means i've put on 12kg already lor. i've got about another 2 more months to due date, so hoping to cap at 15kg, you think accomplishable or not? haha... :p

Looking at all your weight gain, i think i put on too much. My sis tell me that i don't look fat, but not sure why i put on so much. Guess must be the water rentention.
I ask my gynac about my weight gain the last checkup, he laughed and said he is more worried of how heavy is my baby inside. He told me i can eat anything i want. He hope i have a better weight baby this time. He told me if baby grow at this rate, i should be able to get a 2.8 to 3 kg baby.

People don't even know I'm pregnant when I'm behind my desk and when I stand up they get a shock saying they don't even know I am pregnant till I stood up.
