would like to ask whether ur belly button normally is pop out then sometimes it will sink in... any idea y izzit so??

For my bellybutton, mine will pop in and then sink in too... but mine will pop out when my baby position himself in a manner whereby it's like boxing me. That's why i notice.. cos i think i could touch a little fist or maybe his elbow like that.. and it will pop out!

Yah loh. Mine is pop in pop out pop in pop out... now in later out liao... must be baby playing and poking my bellybutton from the inside... he's exactly like his father!! My hb always like to play with my bellybutton too, i don't know why! So baby poke it out, hubby poke back... they both poke and poke... and poor me, feel so ticklish.......

How come everyone is raving about Desitin? how about Dropolene? Must we straightaway apply nappy rash cream to baby as soon as we bring them home?

till now haven pop out leh...
the previous time i experience it, bout 1 min then pop back liao..

now this time 30mins plus liao still sink inside..

but of cos i still can feel his pulling, kicks..

jus feel insecure with tat sink belly button. hhaha

I think it's normal bah. Everyone's bellybutton is born different de... last time alot of myths say if expecting boyboy will pop out... but i dont think so... it's the shape of my bellybutton and how i carry the baby in my womb... so its like depends on our body shape.. something like that.... sometimes i feel ticklish when it pops out which means baby is poking from inside... at times dont know what movements he made inside make me have those tingling sensation at my bottom!!!!! wonder if anyone of you have that too or not...

I think you should just buy from mothercare lah. Cos ship over from BBmall can take a while, depending on how fast the spree organiser is. Just the shipping from USA to SG alone takes 2-3 wks already. I don't think we have that much time left!

Re: Bellybutton
You all hor... very cute leh. As long as BB is doing well, our bellybuttons are the least of our concerns! My bellybutton stuck out all the way since 2nd trimester with #1. Then for #2, until now also never stick out at all, but he's also a very good 2.6kg! So you all just concentrate on preparing for bb's arrival and don't think so much about your bellybuttons lah.

itsy> mine is 29th wk le. ur doc blur. keke. better remind her. cos if i not wrong, after 32wks, checkup will be once every 2wks instead of de usual 4wks. according to my gynae.

princessxiaomei> my doc got tell me edd still remains de same leh. even when de scan sometimes show otherwise. but she say nearer to de date, she will advise again.

keke. i oso dun mind bb popping out earlier. cos i cant wait to c him =p n my good frend getting married on 6th oct. she was at the same time happy for me n sad tat i cant attend her wedding. so contradicting =p

hehe. tat y i nv like to stay with pil. wanna faster move out to a place of my own. like tat nobody to kpkb me. actually dey wun, but i juz find it abit cramp. cos got to squeeze with bb all into 1room. cannot img de small space. think i will go crazy. good thing is no need do housewk. =p

i dun have much 0-3mths clothes. alot more of 3-6mths clothes, cos bb need to go infant care. one day need bring like 4sets of clothings there, not including the one he wear there. so i tot better buy more.

My friend's wedding is on the 5th october!! Hahaha.. this is the 3rd wedding venue (SAME VENUE) which i gonna missed AGAIN. That time was because it's too near my wedding date... i have no luck with that venue la... hahahaha...

i think our EDD is really an estimation... nearer to the date then maybe our gynae will tell us.. i'm gan cheong yet frightened at the same time... awwww.... but also cant wait for october to arrive asap...so that our confinement also end liao.. and i can start to roll up and down the bed with my tummy down!!! hohoho!!!

I have no choice, my flat is not ready yet... everything we do have to be very convenient for them and not myself... sometimes i feel that i hate them so much... but i just have to ignore... and bo chap... they dont even treat me like their DIL for one thing! Even when i am expecting their first grandchild, they also don't treat me like their own daughters. I cannot complaint to anyone... cos its really useless and waste of my time... in the past people all tell me things will change when they know i am pregnant.. PUI loh... it's still the same.. what's more my SIL treat me like shit too.. so i simply just avoid seeing her... i siam whenever i can... urgh! i dont mind squeezing with baby into 1 room... just that they are so what lah.. dont know how to describe also... pregnant xinku is me, then once baby out, they only want to play... when i was feeling so terrrible during 1st trimester, they totally never do anything... yet shout and scold me when it wasnt my fault!! 2nd trimester keep ask me ask my mum to cook tonics which they felt its her duty! sian loh! can't stand such people! Yet when talk abt confinement, they (in laws + their relatives!) felt that i married out liao shld stay w in laws to do confinement and cannot go back mum's place to do... what crap! testing my limits only! Luckily i got my own plan after that.... hahahaa.. i am not being evil, i am just doing what i think i should do since i am being treated in such a way.... hahahaa.....

pardon me for complaining so much. cos i am really very mad. i keep bottle up everything... bek chek! and worse is my own family didn't know anything about how they treat me!!! and still think i am the one shouldnt do this do that to them....! urgh! i'm the victim yet i seemed to be the BAD one in both sides. tamade!

So fast you gonna send baby to infant care? I also didnt get much of 0-3.. i think i only get about 7pcs of that... the rest are mixtures of 3-6, 6 mths... few pcs only... didnt buy much too...

Just back from Prenatal Class. Today's on BF-ing.
The teacher was saying.. no need to use nipple cream.. dun even need to use now for prevention of sore/dry nipples...
she say can just use the leftover milk after bb detached from the breast to rub on the nipple and air dry...
should be good enough...
and if the latching on is correct, there wont be any sore / dry / cracked nipples and hopefully we dun even need nipple cream at all..

Actually about my evil sil and my problem, since early mar until now we NEVER talk already. Cos that one time she shouted and scolded me at midnight for something i did not do and even continue saying very nasty things about me... so i super angry and cannot tolerate anymore, told hb that i am not going to talk to her from then till after confinement then say. She's been cursing me lots too eversince i ROM and held my customary. SO that issue, my hb is aware and i also told him i don't wish to see HER when i deliver!

But about my PILS... a little hard.. at times did mentioned but he is one super filial son... so i cannot say so much.. cos FIL always say "It's FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!" "want us to be so independent is for your own good!"... sometimes it's like asking us to go and die cos certain things really need their help but they act ignorant! So no point continuing conversation with them. Cos of PILS, hb and i quarrelled many times... so definitely cannot continue the topic regarding them already! That's why i am so pissed.... sigh! What to do.... nothing much can be done but to endure loh! BTW thanks for replying to me.

I think my flat should be ready by early next year. Renovation should take about 1-2 months? Just simple reno will do..... i already tolerate for more than 3 years staying with them after i ROM.... another few more months shouldn't be a problem! Haaa.... i can do it!!!

i browse back for the ways to collect. RELAX relax! i was looking at the areas.. thought could pass to milkyway but i think i will only see her tml and 14jul... cos our lessons ending le... i let you know again cos all the places are not near to me since i am not working...

yah loh. Eversince i ROM, i already 'shifted' to their flat.. hahahaa.. cos my family so big, i dont have much space...

hahaa... and since my hb has a room of his own, so i just happily shift in loh.. hehee... and though that time we are husband and wife by LAW, my PILS treat me as just a friend. Now by customary liao, i am being treated like a normal person. He leaves everything good for his own daughters and i have nothing. He knows my hb is so busy at work, and have been coming home at midnight, going to work early in the morning, and he knows i have been drinking HL milk and anlene milk.... now run out for a week already, he NEVER even offer to buy for me.. cos you know it's quite heavy for me to carry all the milk....(2 HL milks + 3 pack of anlene milk) noon time he buy lunch fr MIL, he never bother to ask if i want to eat.. at times my MIL see me open fridge close fridge thinkin i am hungry, she ask me to eat her leftovers. Got once she finished all the duck meat and cha siew, left the rice, she ask me to eat for her. Many times i never mentioned to my hb liao le.. cos he so stress n tired.. i dont wan to dig my own grave. SIGH.

I cannot rem which mummy mentioned bout getting glass bottle from hospital to store EBM. Just to let you know TMC no longer give out e glass bottle. I asked e NICU nurse today & they said it's bcuz of certain accident like glass bottle "burst" after numerous times of heating.

All I can tell you is Dropolene doesn't work for my children lah.. even though it's sales contribute to my salary *haha*.. I find tt Desitin works e best

I didn't use any nipple cream for my 1st pregnancy cuz duno got such thing mah.. Den 1st few wks suffer sore/cracked nipple in "silent". Got so bad till e BM I xpressed bcome "strawberry" flavour den had to throw e whole bottle away

It's yr own preference. I'm using it now & it really helps my cracked nipple to heal much faster.

Few times i was stuck at the bus door.. people from the front wanna alight, i walk to the back a little.. then later people at the back keep saying EXCUSE ME EXCUSE Me... then i am being pushed to the front again.. and i look like some transparent pregnant woman... and nobody offer to give me a seat or let me hold on to the handle first before they alight. -.- i even have people fighting seats with me on the train.....

Yup, your info is right. #1 sometimes also don't engage until labor starts. There's no guarantee for any pregnancy/delivery at all! No 2 pregnancies are the same, and I'm sure mama to 6Js can vouch for that!

But if natural delivery is to happen, engagement has to happen sometime, so eventually this boy will have to be engaged!

I've been eating food lor. Normal human food. But I don't eat a lot mah, although I still indulge in the occasional dessert when I feel like it. All God's grace lah. I ask him to make me slim slim after I have this baby.

OMG! MY IN-LAWS HAVE MY HOUSE KEYS LORRRR. They just got it recently saying that in case i go give birth at night, they can come over and babysit Joshua. But... i just keep feeling uneasy about them having my keys.

keys.. at most.. worse come to worse dun give them the grille gate keys... HDB only give 3 sets of original.. each for u and ur hubby, then 1 spare... door lock can change and usually not the grille gate one..
1 time my hubby took both keys out and lock me indoors but he was already far far away from hm before we both realise, lucky got spare backup set... else i dun need to go out for appt liao... lol

no heart at all.. still stare at tummy wor... got aunties even want to "get set, ready, go" when the train door open.. i dun even dare to take bus home le.. sianz...

Yup, i totally agree with you. That's why i have been keeping silence all the way till now i really have to blast out.. in one way or another! Indeed when we move out, people will learn to appreaciate things more! And my hb will never become the burger meat........

and if i am to write out the whole story of everything, i think i would need 3 days 3 nights to say out everything! It's really not easy!! Especially when i am expecting now, already have difficulties in sleeping..... and when you finally sleep, people come banging your door 3 times in ONE HOUR to wake you up for NOTHING!

aiyah... i agree with girly.. jia jia you ben nan nian de jin... now i just pray hard hard that i can move out smoothly, earliest by end of this month or early aug!! Was told recently that we are not allowed to move out cos of pregnancy lor.. blame it on those 3 gu 6 po or my mil who is super superstitious... but heng hb stood by moving out!! so now i pray that there will not be anymore hiccups in this month... otherwie sure going to affect my mood and even bb lor.. already told hb that i might suffer depression if there is any more stance from my mil. kekeke

Back move - no way can u get it back. I made the mistake and now I live in tremble and fear that they may pop by anytime. Most times, they come without notice. Scary. I always complain to hubby about this but there is nothing we can do. If we change lock, it will definitely put a strain on our rship with them.

Yah. No need take back liao. Last weekend i went out with my hubs and forgot to bring my keys. Then last minute he need to go back office, so Joshua and I came home, realise no keys, so went to my PILs' shophouse to take the their set. Then my MIL from Saturday til Tuesday, everyday call to remind me to pass her back the keys, machiam so ganchiong like that. Dunno for what lor! I think really can forget about the keys coming back liao.

On the bright side, my in-laws usually will give notice before coming over. They know I am very particular about these things, and they respect my privacy. When they come over, they only stay in the living room & kitchen area. Never once do they step foot into my bedroom or walk-in wardrobe, unless there is good reason for them to. Like when #1 was newborn and sleeping in my room, then they go in and see him for a while. I think at least I'm quite lucky that way. But same like you, I also feel jumpy about them suddenly coming over lor.

But in my case hor, really cannot don't give key leh. later I really late night go labour how? Then who knows how long labour will be?? Later very long labor, then Joshua how?? Cannot be wake him up and bring him go hospital with me to give birth, right??

i already decided NEVER EVER to keys to my mil lor.. keke.. she did ask for it when she know we bought our place, saying she can come as and when she like! But she come for wat when we are not around?? so me and hb already decide not to give our keys to either side to be fair lor..

she also mentioned she wanna come and stay for awhile after we moved since we have an extra room (but that was b4 my pregnancy mah).. now we have decided to convert the room to a baby's room.. so no more room left already.. hahaha... but recently she was toying with the idea of renting out her place and moving in with us!!! but i just pretend i nv hear her.. think she say say only lah.. our new place is really very small no place for her, sil and her many many things..

Update on my gynae visit today..
i've put on another 2kg!! arrggghhh. so total it's 11kg already

bb is average wt at 1.5kg at 30wks. and her head is down.. hopefully it stays down lor.. only 2 more months and i've not gotten anything ready!! *panic*
