if u were to compare the Shampoo &amp; Body Wash: “Calming” 17.5oz, she is selling at $30.30.. Watsons /guardian is selling at $49.90 for the same thing..

but its till ex. cos its less then 500ml lo.. J&amp;J is so much cheaper.. but for a start i dun mind paying more for my gal.. cos i believe that their skin is more delicate at birth. aft i finish then will prob switch to normal brands ba..
 
Hehe Ling, I was actually thinking of using J&amp;J, my favourite shampoo and body wash when i was young :D But not sure if it is suitable for newborns hehe.. haven heard of any raves or anything you see. So thought it would be good to follow what you ladies got since its my first bb :D

J&amp;J can be used for newborns but need to rinse off... Most other brands like kodomo also need rinsing. I find it a bit troublesome since bb is so small n fragile. CB is a no-rinse formula. very gentle too.. So i got 2 bots to use as a start first.

Wanted to get those plastic 5-tier drawer units first. so can keep bb's stuff in there after washin... her things are all still in wrapping n in either plastic or paper bags that are sitting at the corner of my room..

Please let me know if u happen to see those drawer units selling cheap.. Tinking of ALGO or Toyogo brand as recommended by Shelled.

Hi I just got a Algo 4-tier drawer its only 22.90 from Giant Sembawang Shopping Centre. you can see it on first floor too. Can purchase from there too. They have different design.

Me too. I am thinking of washing bb clothes and bb stuffs in order and get a 5 tier drawer units to keep but wonder will it be too early anot. that are sitting at the corner of my room..

Eh, I ate sashimi when BFing also lah. I only had to keep away from oysters cos I had oyster omelette once, then my boy broke into a slight rash. Brought him to the doc and doc said he probably allergic to the oysters I ate. So thru out the rest of our BF days, I didn't eat any shelled stuff like oysters, clams, etc.

my frens who gave birth eat sashimi oso.. i was looking forward to eating sashimi aft delivery! ask gynae no use la.. coz my gynae in 1st pl is nt agst eating sashimi during preg.. he said muz b clean source tat's all lo..

as for coconut, i oso heard cannot take too often... i drink only like 1 in a mth. v hard coz i love coconuts! esp e young ones.. when e flesh is v tender.. eard coconut best taken during last mth to prevent bb fr having "sticky eyes".. dunno hw true

I haven started washing.. Just tinking of doing it soon. Cos i intend to wash twice. Just to ensure the clothes are soft enough for bb to start wearing. We may also nv know if we would deliver early ma.. so just prepare first lo.. dun want everything to be last min. I tink 1 week before EDD abit too late right?

I dun wana get something too ex cos we wont be stayin her permanently. Our place now is just too small to fit those drawers from ikea i guess.. Am going to sembawang shopping centre later to have a look.

Due to the space constraints, if i can get the drawers soon n pack bb's stuffs in first.. i tink it would be better lo.. some of her stuffs are stacking behind and beside my door. My door now cannot fully open that kind liao.. there's still more on the way cos i haven collected my loots from jenifur yet.. (bbmall, walmart, california bb, desitin creamy n wet wipes..)a;; are still at her place...haha.....

CB hair n body wash is no rinse formula.. u just add alittle into bb's bath water then bath bb in it.. no need to rinse off with water aft that de.. just towel dry straight out from the bath lo..

With #1, I washed up all the new stuff by 32 weeks! I think back then I had read somewhere that should get ready by 32 weeks, so that was my "deadline" lor. Won't turn smelly if you keep properly after washing. Unless you tell me you going to leave the things lying around the house.

On the other hand, you imagine if jenifur hadn't gotten ready, then how?! Baby suddenly come early leh.

Ya lah, my hubs cannot be trusted when it comes to food testing.
For me that's what we did lah. Just eat and monitor if bb has any sort of allergic reaction. But it depends on how you prefer to do it lah. I also know of mommies who request for no alcohol or sesame oil during confinement because they feel it is not good for BF.
