Now i feel like sleeping. 4 days of lunch i had porridge until my colleague ask me why i kept eating porridge. Thinking i am mad. -.-

I have no appetite to eat lor. And now i eat already i feel like throwing up.

But still can't.

The feeling is so terrible.

I shouldn't have start to work yet. I was not working for 6months and now i start to work. URGH! Wrong timing!

is it stated in the scan the size of the baby? i saw a 6.2mm but not sure whether it's the yolk sac or baby size.
 
hi princess, ya EDD can change.. i heard (nt sure if correct) tat LMP is used to as an estimate only.. once gynae can measure size of ur baby then can better predict EDD..

for e.g. if 2 person have same LMP but 1 has a longer cycle than e other (e.g. 35 days compared to 28 days)

then on Xth week, person with regular cycle, bb will be X week old.. but person with longer cycle, bb may be younger than X weeks..

tiffy... same here, i start to have "sensitive" nose. my office toilet got some detergent smell, when i get pregnant i start to buay tahan that smell and feel like puking

cho, freesia... think later in pregnancy, u will start to test urine to make sure blood sugar level is not too high. i started to have urine test (pee on a test stick) since 2nd appt with gynae. my friend was tested with high blood sugar level at later stage of pregnancy, so she gotta use a device to test her blood (by poking her finger) for every meal time and eat less carbohydrate food

coping with MS
one way i use is to keep swallowing saliva...

many of u talk about vscan... hmm me a bit sua ku.. what is this for?? i didnt have vscan during the last pregnancy

i'm sinful, i just had mac lunch - twister fries, cold coke... tsk tsk
 
yeh, my gynae iniatially told me my EDD is 26 sep based on my LMP (i.e. 22 Dec). but when she measured the baby's size, she told me EDD is 29 sep (+ or - 1 week).
 
princessxiaomei... EDD is just an estimate... 1 month before EDD, my gynae told me, "any time from now u can give birth"... i felt like carrying a time bomb at last month of pregnancy haha

My cycle is 28-29day cycle. So i also no idea. So far, last visit gynae said mine is 18Sept. So not sure if will change. Keke.

24 not very young le... this year is moomoo year.. i have a family of moomoo.. LOL!

Aee.. the gynae jus told me the black dot in the last scan has grown to this.. (pointing to a bigger black patch which i guess is the sac). Then he measured the white patch inside the black patch and said bb is 4.9mm.

I was supposed to be 6w5d during my last scan but scan indicated 6w3d. So based on scan, i should be 8w1d today. Count from LMP.

Since my scan indicated bb is "younger" i was wondering if bb is of the right size loh..

hi bryest, my EDD is btw 19-26 Sept. By LMP I'm 7 wks, but measuring bb size I'm only 6 wks, so WK Tan gave me a range.

Actually it doesn't matter. When is time to pop, it'll pop. whether pop on wk 35 or wk 37, let bb choose. we just have to be prepared by then.

I'll see WK Tan again on 17 Feb. Will take a cab there and reach b4 9am, chop chop and off I go!

Re: How Many Weeks

No need to worry so much abt LMP. LMP is basically just a tool to agar agar how long ur preg is. When the gynae scans & sizes the BB, the actual no of weeks will be used.

For eg, if according to LMP, u r 7 weeks. Then when u went to gynae, the size says 6weeks 1 day. From then on, the EDD & gestational age will be following the 6 week 1 day, not the LMP which is mostly useless liao.

Dun worry too much abt the size of BB. BB growth rate slows or rises from time to time. As long as ur gynae says that the BB is growing well, it is ok. Just like there's a range of pple's height, BB also got range one mah. Dun need to be exactly the same size to be healthy lor.

yah gave birth at 23 plus, everything blur blur. somemore my frds all still partying and hvg fun, nobody to talk to and ask for advice. plus had post natal blues everyday cry and cry! those were the days!

I understand this is optional. My gynae told me it's usu done in 4th mth, unless u go for OSCAR which must be done in 3rd mth. Then they will shun bian take the blood tet so that u dun have to take blood twice.

This one I'm not so sure. As i undrestand, it is every visit to the gynae.

No lah. Actually all these I shared with u gals bcoz I also v confused mah. Then I ask some of the other MTBs, ask gynae, then I rem the answers & share with u all lor. I know what it feels like to be so confused so I try to help out heehee.

Haha dun worry, I'm sure the BB is ok. U already went for scan b4 right? Oh but I forgot ur 2nd appt is at how many weeks? Did u see heartbeat yet?

Heehee boob growth will come. Actually recently I've been thinking, maybe boobs shdn't grow too much. Like some of the MTBs here shared, grow too much will sag when they shrink back. Not good wor! hahaha

OSCAR is the test they use now to check for Downs Syndrome. They use blood test to test dunno what free beta hcg & PAPP-A, then measure BB's neck thickness, measure BB's size & age, then use mum's age to calculate the risk of DS BB.

But this is a STATISTICAL tool. Doesn't mean that high risk = DS BB. If high risk, they will recommend tests such as amniotecis (er. dunno how to spell) or CVS that will tell u more accuratrely.

Hehe. My besties all call me xiaomei too. I cannot blend in with people who are younger than me or same age as me. I don't know why. But i think maybe my mentality different as them. They are all enjoying life, whereby i already got married, waiting for flat etc... they still patoh-ing, drinking, studying.... -.- so they find me too "OLD" for them. SIGH. And that's how i got my nickname as PRINCESSXIAOMEI. :) I like princess mah.... hahahaha....

What job ah.. admin.. but look more like contruction! I also no idea. Today is 4th day at work... i actually saw blood on day2. Luckily it stop after 3times. i panick and cry. i have nobody to talk to. i totally scare like siao! Plus my hb not in SG! paranoid lor!

I patoh too early. That's why i married early. I marry the guy whom i patoh and is my first love. Everybody cursing me scolding me when i ROM in 21. But i hack care. I saved my own money to ROM, and saved my money to hold my customary. totally never get a single cent from in laws or parents. Neither does in laws want to pay a single cent too. So i very mad with them but who cares. His son loves me dotes on me can liao. RIGHT!

Though i start family young, but i am struggling a little. Hard life but happy! :)

And i don't have a stable and proper job. No career also. LOL!

that's why i say after i shift into my new flat next year, i will be able to start my career. :) Then save money, few years later i will study my bachelor in ECH. :) HOOOOOO!

Yeah I heard coconut too liang also. Since u spotting, I advise u avoid for a while until u become more stable?
