not sure..cos i just stopped birth control pills in Nov last year. So i think I don't really know my cycle although I suspect conception took place between 23 Dec and 25 Dec....thinking of going to a gynae at the end of e mth..I did not do a blood test to confirm pregnancy

it was becoz the gynae saw no prgoress in the growth of sac. When he measured my sac, it was 4 weeks but im suppose to be at my 5th week already or more and he suspected it has stopped growing. So he wanted me to go for a blood test to see my HCG level whether it drops to re-confirm.
to both of our surprise, My HCG level went up to 4000.( 6 to 7 weeks ) Meaning its growing, but slowly..so doctor arranged to me next week and V scan the sac again.
What im trying to say is my HCG level and my V scan report doesn't tally.
Anyway, i'm just praying for my next visit and hoping the sac will grow bigger.

I think my regular meals contribute to my weight increase these past few wks. Last time I did not eat so well like I do now. And sometimes after dinner, I go to sleep since I feel more tired easily nowadays. Compared to last time I usually slept late.
Also, I think you're right --- lack of exercise. Nowadays I take care not to walk so much as I'm afraid will have spotting. Luckily after Tues, no more spotting. I pray hard that there won't be spotting anymore!

As for twins, mine no family history. But I've a fren who also has no family history too and she conceived twins. So to me, even if no family history, as long as egg splits in two it is possible to have twins.

Yeah, I think if no spotting, can do exercise, can walk etc. But if got spotting, tnen need to have more bed rest & not walk so much.
BFP = Big Fat Positive (means tested positive)
CD = Cycle Day (CD1 is the first day of your period)
AF = Aunt Flo (Flow) aka period

ur HCG level is supposed to increased by double every 48 - 72hrs to indicate that the pregnancy is progessing. taking on HCG test is not a good way to deduce.

oh no, I think some of us here also starting to feel nauseous so for your case it's likely to be MS. Take care not to walk too much, I think that will help. 1st tri our body is working really hard so we cannot exert ourselves at all.
Dun worry ok, just keep up good thoughts and rest well to ensure stress doesn't kick in.
It's really great that we have this thread and so many friends to encourage us. Furthermore our timing also about the same so we can learn together.

Hui Chern, i just yet to let my boss know about my pregnancy, will let the office know after once things are more firm.. frankly, having just start my new job, i am really worry that my company will find reason to get rid of me...

Hi Ling! gd to see u here...congrats : )I am actually only thinking of seeing gynae in early Feb cos I thought if I didn't test so early, I also would not know...haha...then go later can see more things like heartbeat also. little the gynae can do for me now since its so early

maybe im more on the cautious type ba.. when i was preg in may last yr, i went to see the a GP when i was abt 5 weeks preg just to confirm the preg. she did a v scan but canot see anything.. she told me it could be etopic cos by 5 weeks should at least see the sac but she couldnt locate any.. she told me to see a gynae immediately tt day.. i cried buckets lo..
went to see gynae at glen e.. they manage to locate the super small sac measurin 0.37 cm.. phew!!
but of course.. its still up to u la..

If u want to se the sac early to rule our ectipic preg, like ling said, u can see the doc abt 4 weeks. But hor, the last time when I went at 4wk+, she cudn't see any sac. So depending on devt of the BB, may not be able to see anything.

Babylet, my gynae say i am estimated to be about 4 wks as of last sat when i visited him... he did a ultrasound n give me a pic of my bblet, that is all, no blood test, nothing...
as my C is very long, i calculated my EDD is 4 sept based on babyzone, but will confirm more details at my next visit...
so many of u manage to hear ur BB heartbeat, i am still in anticipation...

I think the blood test wun b so early. At least, my gynae said not so early. So dun worry abt it. I think now is urine test, weight, blood pressure & scan only.
When is ur next appt? If it's next week or later, u shd be able to see heartbeat liao. I din hear, just saw it pulsing on the ultrasound.

Havent been able to sleep well since i know i was preggy.. sigh...
Just dun feel comfortable at the abdomen area. feels weird.. hehe..
ANd daytime will have some cramps or sharp pain.. heard its normal.. yup...
Anyone also feeling this way? hee..
oh..and i watched "In The Womb" with HB last nite.. it was cool man.. i mean its amazing to see how the BB is developing..
and what to expect in which week... its rather informative.. hee... those who've yet to watch show watch....
Now HB also know whats going on in my tummy.. hehe..

Wah... so many MTBs here... the posts are moving so fast until I lost track...
I'm so excited to go for my first appt also to see BB heartbeat.. but my gynae can only see me on the 30th Jan... I went to a GP to confirm my pregnancy...
I should be 5 weeks now according to LMP... but still need confirmation from gynae... I got my positive HPT 5 days before my menses due... manage to get a very very faint line... hehe...
Havnt really told my family yet... but i already told my colleagues!!! (haha.. so can laze a bit at work..)
