yar my in-laws and friends say better not to move furniture like bed etc even reno also.. that's why we putting everything on hold. I am still stuck in this ugly bright yellow room with my nephew's drawings!! >.<

A lot of the gals here went for 1h &amp; they reaped the benefits. But I prefer longer massages - I used to go for massages also 1.5h before I got preggie. Anyway 1.5h $50, also very affordable.

I think I shd make another appt soon haha.

I'll bbl... rushing off to see my gynae again.. me n hubby is actually tinking of taggin along with my 'side' family to Genting this coming sun.. But yest aftnoon, i had a pain in my tummy which lasted approx 10-15 mins.. had it again just now for abt a couple of mins.. duno how to explain the pain.. it feels like cramping/ contraction pain.. duno la.. msged my gynae then he ask me to see him before the trip..

so you were the last to came into lesson ar.. i tot u look familar from the FB pics lor.. haha.. i'm seated at the left corner facing Mrs Wong. And my silly husband keeps making comments when when the video on breastfeeding was on and when Mrs Wong was teaching. So irritating leh.. keep making me luff from the jokes he making. Can hardly concentrate well. Lucky he says he slpy halfway thru the lesson.. hehe.. but i must say her lessons were very informative. Like cannot rub tummy in a circular motion as it will cause early labour and we have to rest after every half an hr walk. Can only walk non-stop after 37 wks.. etc..

i was there on the first and 2nd day cos hb wanted to get some cheap deal on the 2nd day. Super crowded but i jsut braved the crowds with hb protecting us. hehe

i think the massage for the hands that Mrs Wong taught is very useful to help me reduce numbness/pain on my fingers. Felt very gd after hb massage for me.

currently i went weekly one is indian hot oil pre natal massage..

i oso very urge for foot reflex.. duno can go anot :p

I went for foot reflex a few times liao. Shiok! But depends on whther u r comfortable lor.
 
i wonder if foot reflex got the same "theory" for massage not.

my hairstylist mention before that there are certain points that will affect the baby, thats why he against giving me massage while washing hair etc

just make sure the person know u preggie lo.. hehe

Shd be bah. I aws tell the reflexologist that I preggie, so I guess they adjust accordingly lor. My gynae also said massage ok when I asked her in first tri. But I "ren" until 6 mths then go.

hw are u ladies so far? so long nv logged on to the forum le.. I am in 28 weeks n 5 days now and experiencing some leg aches too.

Ytd slept halfway wanted to turn to other side but like dunno sprained my right side of tummy n it went hurting with sharp pain for abt 5 mins.. gave me a scare cos I thot i made myself into early labour man.. The pain was diff from any other pain i had last time. So now i try to turn very slow motion-ly.

Also started my Childbirth class last Friday.. my mummy went with me to Mt A.. it was like packed with ppl lo.

You girls all engaging massaging services ar.. so shiok.. i dun thk i hv the extra budget to go for it. So far wat hv u all bought for baby? I got princess two wardrobes which i find quite useful.. and its not ex.. then bought a whole series of Pigeon Stuff.. but need to go down to the Pigeon Agent side to get the breast pump parts. Grateful my parents brought back lots of hand-me-downs from Bro in Perth. So Princess got lots n lots of clothes.. no need to spend much on tt.

Read tt u all going to meet up once more.. when ?? i also lazy to go read archive.. =)
 
im soo sleepy now... itink i take a short nap first b4 heading for foot reflex.... whole day hands and arms dumpness frozen pains cant get to sleep much.

Initially tot of getting combi.. but feedback not as good.. those good combi costs like 600 bucks.. i'm budgeting.. so cannot.

Hi MarieE, did read about birthplans.. may be discussing with gynae nearer to edd. Not really sure how it works though.. there are so many types of births! Hypnobirthing, doulas etc Have no idea what they are :p

ling> de session is good. last time after sitting on the floor for 30mins i get backache n very hard to stand. n when i do stand. i feel de pain in de lower back n butt. but yesterday after massage, no such prob. de massage cost 38bucks for 1hr or 50bucks for 1.5hrs. pre-natal massage.

U might want to consider a sofa bed from IKEA or any furnitura store. Was looking at that option as well.
