(2009/08) August 2009 MTBs

oh.hahha, kiki, thanks

i thought is we reserve the front row, then we have to pay extra.

the last time when i took jetstar, we didnt' book for the front seat, and there was nobody in the front seat, and when i tried my luck to ask them if we can sit there, they said cannot.
sad.gif

coz we never pay extra.

babiesmeme
i bought quite many stuffs from gmarket already.
happy.gif

quite simple... just select your items and then add to shopping cart.
payment can be by credit card, paypal or internet transfer.

hi kiki,
if the price shows $8.00 + shipping fee $2.00, is that all i need to pay? how about the postage fee from singapore? will they let us know.
I so fascinated with their baby shoes hehe.

hihi jac,

my girls r standing up to bathe since few mths back... (actually i tink use tub save water..haha, but they started screaming when were in tub so i tried..n realised they wanted to stand..so kept the tub away liao). for me, i asked them to look high n quickly wash away shampoo...or simply run water down if no soap. but i tink my helper still carry them to wash hair like baby, then stand them up to pongpong.

i got them pillows mths back too.. smtimes they will sleep on it.. but mostly aft 1-2hrs of sleep, they're off the pillow liao... lud till duno whr. i din noe of any reason if it's good or not-so-good to sleep on pillow..or not.... anyone to share also? big thanks.

Jacq

my gal has been standing next to her tub to bathe. She hates bathing so I let her stand there. I wash her hair like we do, apply shampoo on her hair and splash water to rinse. She likes ah ma style bathing with tub and a scoop. I got a non slip mat to put on the floor so that she won't slip while bathing. Lately she has taken a fancy on the toy boat and has been going 'woo woo' and moving it like a car in the bath tub.

Sweetmama: budget airline different from usual airlines. Budget airlines, there is a safety factor if u wanna sit in the front or middle where emergency exits are. Pple sitting on those seats r required to open the emergrency doors. So no children, elderly, sick.. No bags can be kept there too coz needs to be clutter free.

If can get bassinet get lah. If ur girl cannot fit in, u can use it to hold ur bags. Haha.

hehe so cute... muz be your smell! wah seh.. hw she hug your bolster..so huge (for them).. muz be cuteness la! hehehe~

i got mid-sized pillow n bolster for them. they will smtimes lie on their side on the pillow n hug the bolster... hehe.. so cute to see that.. like koala.

but smtimes, the bolster is juz there to like... buffer or seperate them apart?!?
Keona oso likes to sleep face-downed most times...n even with her bumbum high up in the sky! Mattea on the other hand is more a 'flat-sleeper' from young. haha.

Fatbobo

hahaha, I saw your video of them
holding hands and going up the bed. So cute. Makes me wanna have twins. Hahaha.

Ya lo, the bolster so big but she
likes leh. Funny gal. Maybe it feels like lying on my/my hb's chest to sleep lor.

ya..prolly the sense of security!

hehe..thanks. my fren was saying i 'torture' them..kept n confine them in the small little room, they can oni walk few steps up n few steps down niah! lol~

they quite random de lar.. guess tues (n ystrday's) them was "holding hands".. the whole they, they kept on holding hands n walk ard.. last evng my parents n sis came over for dinr, they oso walked ard, n oso hold my dad's n sis's hand n walk them ard the hse!

oh, the push to help the sis up the bed really surprise me..i mean, so funny! hehe.

Shower Baby
Same as mashy, I shower my girl beside her tub on the rubber mat. Sometimes my girl stands sometimes she sits. Sometimes she wants to splash herself with the scoop so I bought 2 scoops. One for her to play, one for me to shower her. I train her to bend her head backward when I say, " 1, 2, 3". It means bend her head backward cos mommy is going to pour water onto her head.

baby S,

nono, not because of safety factor. as the front row has more space for the leg, so therefore if you want the seat in the front rows, you have to pay extra. $$. but even though that time the airline was not full, quite empty, there was no one in the front seat, the air stewardess did not allow us.

bath, my gal lovessss to bath...she can't quickly go into her bath tub. i washed her outside...she was trained to have water washed over her hair when she was 6 month old. so no problem having washing her hair. but she can't wait to go in to the bath tub and splash me. alamak...

fatbobo, your gal is soooo cute, holding hands.... hee

my son stand and sit at the same time la.. sometimes he stands to take all the shampoo and etc whatever is near him and throw whatever he can into our bath tub.

Bathtub really save water lor. and they can play water also. haha.. sometimes i scoop the water and splash him many times and he just loves it.

sweetmama

my boy also love to bath so much.
i always splash water from head to toe. haha.. he will freeze there and blink blink at me. hehe..or drink the water.

sometimes i not ready, he already walk or crawl over to the toilet liao le. if i put him outside and ask him wait he will make noise.

thanks sweetmama... ALL our little ones r cute!

guess juz dat they r together.. as like.. both same age, same size, doing same ting tog..makes it like.. hehe.. cute in a way la. but ya.. i tink alot of your bbs r super cute too.. hehe, like the way u all describe your little ones, the tings they do, the words they say.. hehe.

oh btw, i had a qtn in mind last evng.. (quite random actually.. but ya..suddenly rmbrd abt it..)... those with bb boys, any of u really went to the circumsize (duno hw to spell) procedure after all? i rmbrd long ago before we all popped.. we did discussed abt this topic for a brief. hehe.

kiki,

i deciding between gold coast & tokyo. not sure if it's too cold for gold coast cos i intend to travel end june/early july.....

fatbobo,

my boy circumsized already. the next day after he was borned. haha!

Sweetmama: yeah gotta top up but for those in the front, if u dun meet that criteria they'll ask u to move one. Cos i took b4 and one young lady and older lady came in. They were suppose to sit there, they paid for it. But cabin crew wouldnt allow the older lady to sit there and said safety will be compromised and said she'll have to sit at a normal seat and the airline will refund the difference wor..

bobo
my husband refuse to let my boy be circumsized. @_@

haiz! my boy was screaming for 1hr in the middle of the night... even when newborn time he also dont cry like that one...
suspect that he was in pain when he pee. maybe UTI so got to collect urine... siong man!

kiki,

u mean yr boy cried yday is it? are you toilet-training him thats y he's holding his bladder cos no diaper on?

Zen

if u go japan in June or July, better dun go Tokyo. Hokkaido still ok. Coz during that time, it'll rain almost everyday.

Gold coast will be nice. Not very cold. Just a jacket. And if u feel cold, just stand in the sun. The sun is
scorching.

mashy,

i thot it'll be hot during then in tokyo? i went in 08 also end june the weather was nice, cooling but sunny.

for australia is supposed to be winter rite? it won't be too cold ah? if it's cooling, maybe i'll go australia instead. i dun like hot weather. s'pore is alreadi v hot.

Zen

June is tokyo's summer. They call it 梅雨 season coz it's also their rainy season. That time I went in summer kept raining, then typhoon. Everyday soaked.

Gold coast is cool. Other places will prob be cold. I went in June before too. Nice weather. Love it. It's a great place for kids.

mashy,

thanks!

tats a good piece of news. my boy will be 23mths around then. will there be any nice place for him to play? or still too young?

Zen

I think he will love dream world and sea world. And if u dun get sea sick easily can go whale watching. In gold coast, u can rent an apartment for all your cooking etc if u want.

I wanna go there again with the kids and hope to see the great barrier reef at cairns.

Ladies, my gal love to bath jus that she dun like me to wash her hair so I was thinking whether to wash her hair standing up... Hmm maybe I will try if it's work..
Pillow: my gal sop on my pillow those soft soft type during her nap but also a while she will move away so I wonder if buy bb pillow for her also too small.. Heee

Pillows: before going to infant care he do not need pillow after which the teacher ask for one he has Been wanting to sleep with it. I got a infant bolster long enough for him to hug between his legs and arms, we call it his "baby" and he show it to us haha

Zen

I went free and easy with the entrance tix and transfers to the 3 worlds included. Then I signed up local package for whale watching. It's pretty easy to get around. I didn't try the last time but I think u can rent a car.

mummies.. i ask u all ah..

i am going to HK next week.. shayna usually hates hoodies, hats and clothing that restrict her movement.. (she even hates clips) i was just wondering, if the weather is cold enough, u think she'll leave the clothing on just becos she's cold?

Babys

she'll prob agree to wear the clothes. And depending on her may agree to wear the hat. My gal let us wear those stuff coz she felt cold I think. Usually she won't allow. My boy on the other hand when he was younger, refused to wear a hat even though it was freezing. So I suggest u just bring along.

Are u bringing a stroller? Perhaps u can bring along a blanket and clip at the sides to keep her warm. Daiso sells the blanket clips for strollers.

Good Morning Mummies!

Mashy,
Do you think I should skip Dreamworld & go Movieworld instead since he'll be too young to take any rides? Or should just go all 3 worlds since we're already there?

BabyS,
Ethan hates wearing long pants in S'pore. But when we were in Japan, we forced him to wear cos it's cold. He resisted but when we're out, he forgot abt it or he din insist to remove. Maybe it's due to the cold. but he still refused to put on his jacket unless it's really v cold. He's a stubborn fellow.

morning ladies...

BabyS,
my boi tt time even cold he still refuse to wear anything on his head leh.. cos he still botak so scare no protection i jus cover the stroller at least his head not so expose haha..

Zen

skip dreamworld? I think u meant skip movieworld? Hehehe. There may be rides for him but I will prob expect that he can't take most rides. Unless u dun mind going there just to take photo or u and your hb take turns to take rides. Perhaps u can check what rides are suitable for him? When I went there, I still didn't have kids then. Hehehe.

mashy: yeah yeah i have those clips from daiso... so useful cos shayna keeps kicking off ehr blankie..

yeah will bring a hat for her.. (but its just a normal one that someone gave, those cotton kinds with a super huge flower kind? dont wanna buy another one cos dunno if she will wear.. if she will wear i go HK and buy.. haha..

Piggy, wah, kyler so strong ah.. not cold ah..

Zen: wah, ethan's quite strong too.. shayna will let us put on a jacket for her in SG if a bit cold.. but this time the jacket is thicker, hope she'll allow..
