hehe.. april.. it was Keona.. hehe.. i was like.. wow! still struggling with Mattea at the wall.. den suddenly Keona came frm no where n walked straight into 'F'! haha..but haiya.. prolly juz coincident lor.

actually oso quite keen to sign up.. as like.. i tink it's fun for the little ones to meet frens regularly.. n drain their energy oso. LOL~ if i were to sign this up, i wld go for the 4pm i guess. oh btw..though the distance, but i like the space there for now, not so crowded, and ample parking.

but anyways, i will wait till aft we go for the playdays trial den c hw. :)

kiki: huh? he doesnt like meat? i've only heard of methods of how u can make kids eat meat, but never heard of any methods to make kids eat meat...

my boy hates meat too! He will chew and chew for hours then spit it out. Sometimes he'll just put his finger in his mouth to dig it out.

my hubby drove us there yday, he dunno how to find the entrance of the place. so he alight me at the side gate near the mountbatten mrt. then i realise from my place there is a straight bus there. GUG @ mountbatten is veri spacious not crowded tat wat i like too.

for you kind of far u r at west! tat y i nvr go for trial at playdays....i think 4pm better timing yday nvr had my lunch so hungry nearly become guilty if i fall together with edric, tink back i laugh at myself..lol

abt the teacher I did chat with Debbie yday and i do ask if the teacher are sporean malays, and she say they are.

where u buy he ABC pasta? i oni bought pasta star but still in the kitchen cabinet.. havent let javier try.. so far oni let him try baby marcaroni..

my boy too.. likes veggie and fruits but not meat and fish.. i believe is the texture loh so i use my own chopper and chop till really fine and mix inside his porridge..

that day i gave javier a small pc of prawn, after 10mins still in his mouth.. haha... but tink the difference is my boy is sucking it not chewing it.. hee..
 
babyja: i realise hor, not many places sell ABC pasta leh.. NTUC and a few other supermarts dont have it.. they have that range of pasta but not ABC..

the supermart near my place have, u want me to help u buy and i pass it to u during bash? Anyone else wants me to help buy? i think its only 70cents per pack.

I have the pasta star too but dont like the texture leh. When the outside is soft enough, the inside is hard. when the inside is hard enough, the outside is too mushy! shayna didnt like it when i made it for her once..
 
NTUC @ Punggol Plaza is selling it too. Saw it while I was there over the weekend.
But its more expensive, think abt $2+ but maybe its a bigger pack ?
Ive only cooked half of The smurf shaped pasta I bought for Nat. So think a pack can last pretty long.
I can help to buy too if anyone needs to
 
babyja: ang mor supermart is in hougang ave 8.. I think the sauce can be frozen.. but it really takes a very short while to make it. i took less than 10 mins to complete the whole thing (the time consuming one is the boiling of pasta).

dolce: huh??? so expensive?? but then again, mine is the small pack, the one u saw maybe big packet..

I saw those bott tomato paste at organic shop too safe for them to eat .. Sian my boi only like porridge n cereal I try givin him pasta he took few mouth den dun wan Liao he is ok with meat but dunno y he dun like other food even bread he also took few mouth Nia sigh~

Shayna loves eating anything. Now when we go out she'll eat our noodles, our rice.. whatever we eat, she wants to eat too..

She doesnt seem to like cereal now. Gave her the multi grain and fruits one from baby's day out and she gave a frown when i first gave to her. Like "mummy? I thought we moved on already? how come move back to cereal?" hahah

wat kind of cereal r u all gvg the little ones? im gvg the nestle de...cerelac or smting.. i tink my girls getting very very bored with it le. like piggy's kyler.. my girls dun like bread oso leh. wat else i can gv for breakfast? can they take freshmilk already now? those cornflakes or watever cocopops tingy.. can mah? but with wat milk?

i was clearing my cupboards found more cereals.. the healthy times..

so i tot good time to intro breakfast w the cereals oso.. he oso gav "why are we on cereals again?" haha..

nowadays he kip pointing at things ler.. he always stretch his hand out, want mi to hold his hand n walk together.. so cute...

he has been disturbing mi since the SYOG torch relay when his daddy is busy and always not at home in the wee hrs.. he will wake up n ask for milk.. cry so loudly unless i start to prepare his milk..

BUT!! these 2 nites his daddy is back, n he sleep thru out.. he only needs a few pats in the nite n he went back to sleep.. wah lao!!
 
My gal also decided that she doesn't like bread anymore. Even when I put jam on it. She hates cereals and mushy stuff. Dun like porridge anymore too. But she'll eat up rice (adult type) and slurp up noodles. And she gained so much more weight after that too.

I also need sugg on breakfast. Not been giving her anything other than milk ever since she refused bread.

I gave Kyler happy bellies actually I dun mind breakfast cereal cos nutrient level is gd plus Kyler dun like milk so I can add to his cereal but other adult food he only took few mouth he dun 1 la .. Maybe u can consider mash potato add cheese ,salmon n milk?

if I just give cereal my boy also dont like. have to add in cut fruits.

bread
my boy take a few bites only. think its too dry already, difficult to swallow.
today I throw the bread into his milk and then give him the soggy version with spoon. he took one whole slice... strange... I find it quite gross... haha!
 
bahahahhahahaha.. kiki.. i tink dat's yiarky too! my lil sis oso has this weird taste.. she likes soggy stuffs.. like she will dump in 2 pcs of digestive biscults into her milo or coffee..n let the entire ting melt in! yiarkz!!!!!

hmmmm~ i tink yur boy will grow up to soak his bread into a nice warm cup of kopi-O in future! LOL~
 
mashy, I have been feeding Isaac with adult-type cornflakes soaked in milk, pancakes, waffles... whatever the girls are eating, he also wants.

bobo, can soak the cornflakes in milk to soften first.

I also give "swee kuah" without the "cai po", "chee chong fan" without the sweet sauce, beehoon soup but he dont drink the soup...
depends on what I'm having for breakfast, if its suitable for him, then I will spare him some, if not then he will have to take cereal/bread

I'm easy with his food nowadays, big boy already mah.

mashy, I think if they dun want breakfast, can just feed more lunch or dinner and it still works out. Unless u want to make eggless pancakes? There are some recipes out there. Oh, I saw that cedele depot has eggless ice cream now.

i've been skipping breakfast. So she just drinks milk. Anyway she's eating well so I'm ok with it. She's gaining weight so I'm fine. She's now 8.9kg.

re bread: Shayna likes bread, cakes too.. then again i havent found anything she doesnt like.. thank GOD! but right now its still milk for breakfast cos my mum is really busy with her in the morning and on sunday mornings we're rushing off to church, so milk is the easiest..

kiki: same, i also easy with whatever she's eating. As long as not too high in salt/ sugar/ fats etc..

oh i wanted to give plain cornflakes but i notice cornflakes has alot of vitamins etc. Wondering if its too much for children their age.. if not i will love to give corn flakes or honey stars! (honeystars doesnt have real honey right?)

anyone knows wat the recommended portion?
My boy loves yolk, he will finish up his porridge if there is egg yolk! But if feed everyday..will it be too much?

my mum will use egg yolk, put abit water, add toufu n meat n steam...ryan loves it cos I'm trying to intro more meat into his diet

freshmilk is fine...I buy the Meiji fresh milk fir Ryan to try
he loves it! But I warm up before I feed him
I read that alot of breastfed baby like Meiji fresh milk...tried n it's so true
but he got abit of rashes on his cheek...dunno if it's due to the milk
checked with PD, she also say no problem to drink fresh milk now but just not so nutritious cos baby FM got alot of other stuff added

I'm desperately trying to beef Isaac up with avacados and anything else he wants to eat :p he's no where compared to the 2 girls at the same age!!

sharon, the steamed egg yolk with meat and tofu sounds delicious. Thanks for the idea. I think its ok for kids to eat 1 egg a day. Or you could give him half a day.

he misses daddy so much after the SYOG event.. now he will stick to daddy more.. but i was the main caregiver during those days.. maybe i scold him more so he tinks daddy is better.. haha..

n he can calls daddy n mami clearly now..

he loves his shoes.. tis morning i took his shoes to kip into his bag cos he was wearing his sleepsuit (covered toes) he tot i am gonna wear his shoes for him, sat on the floor and wait for mi.. after awhile he realised the shoes wasnt meant for wearing yet, he stand up n look for daddy..

hmmm~ k.. thnx for the ideas... will try meiji milk on them. oh, i rmbr nw my girls like cakes too, esp the lychee martini cake..hehe. n the other time i gave bao (without the char siew)..they're orite too. (funny leh, bao eat, bread dun wan.. aeh..actually i oso leh!! hahaha.) nw i suddenly hv idea can give those wah-go-kueh (the colourful steam cup kueh)...will try plain chee cheong fun oso. lalala~
