yeah! the little things they do are such a precious memories!

shayna knows all the cheeky stuff... she'll extend her feet or hands to wards us and make us smell cos she likes it when we 'smell' and exclaim out loud "chou chou!!"

recently she make us smell her hair, cos now sick, never wash hair..

then that day she kept pushing her head towards my face and look at me... then i realise she wants me to smell her hair!!! now when we say "i want to smell" she'll choose which part of body and let us smell..

she saw my bro juggling also and tried.. of course its just hands waving around but she has fun doing that when we ask her to juggle..

Nat is so clever! For body parts, so far ovann can only identify his head ... But he can also identify curtains, fan, clock, air-con, lights by pointing to them when we ask him. It's really interesting to see him point point

I signed my gal up for right brilliance at toa payoh. It's also a right brain training thing. $400 a term. My friends recommended it and one friend's kids were featured on channel 8 before on them attending the class and demonstrating very advance reading and intellectual skills.

Vivien, think positively your baby still hv u. Lucky baby. Enjoy ur girl's birthday party n smile in every picture. Then show the pics to ur hb, he will know he misses the wonderful one yr party.

Baby 12 month Vaccination.
Any baby went already? Planning to do it the next weekend after 14 Aug the baby day out.

Actually I wanted to sign my boy with shichida but the distance is too far for me to travel up and down. LNT at Jurong East is very near my place so is more convenient to me.

good mrng ladies... im oh half day (aftnn) all of this week except thur - my girls' birthday... well.. cos my younger sis admitted to hosp..den mum needs to attend to her.

my girls tasted much of their lychee martini cake.. i realised i gave them too much in the evng.. n they had abit of cream in the day too! -.-" haha.

so sweet..so heartwarming n all to see our little ones picking up skills n all hor.. hehe... kyler really cute.. "bei ki" some more leh.. GOOD JOB! :)

both my girls like rather lazy (like mummy? haha!).. they can walk ard omoz 10 steps..but lazy to keep walking. they can identify whr's their head, ears, mouth, tongue, shake head when we said 'no', knod head when we said 'yes' (but not as much as compared to 'no'), dance when we ask them to dance..or make some rythem..shake their bumbum or watever, on aircon..pointing the remote high up to the aircon, put the phone (or toys) to their ears..n mumble "aeio", when we said 'wash hand' they will rub both hands tog, throw their soiled diapers in the bin, open-close hands when we sing 'twinkle star', said "mam mam", "dada", "papa" (ya..all daddy!!).. "ah bu", "mama" (very very random but dun tink they were addressing me!), "(w)ater", "aaaper" (apple), will clap, wave, fly-kiss, big-wide-smile, snuffle-face (funny face), pat on chest to say 'scared scared', still not very good at sucking water from straw.. they prefer to drink frm my cup or bottle..but often end up choking, fake cough, brush teeth (of cos not 'standard kind'), put hairband over their head (although no hair!...btw i wanted to buy them some hair clips the other day..even the smallest de couldn't hold!!!)................
but....... why they just refuse to correctly call me leh! grrrrr~

Dun think he will feel anything if in future being ask :dad,y u not in my 1st birthday photo.
His work come 1st above everything ,including family.[his own co, not working for others leh, can jus leave for family ma!!!]

Anyway, i told my gal , you still have your mummy..n ah ma ah gong etc...

My gal vy good in calling "daddy" lolx she will call me mama also but not as often as daddy..now when she cried for me she will said "nan nan nan" haha...other than that she also knows ball, cat,more(she mean no more)...

Jovia can clap, stand & walk 1-2steps so far..

But she dunno how to point, shake & nod head..can identify head & nose
 
errh.. why would u wana mix cheese and tofu? hehe. i find abit weird? duno.. s like.. cheese is cold, porridge is hot.. but i tink the nutrition factor is good? hehe.
 
i still cant find unsalted meesuah.. so guess will make-do with our regular meesuah on their actual birthday with kwey bong n nerng. they dun hfta finish the entire bowl rite? juz taste abit for yi si yi si?

btw..can they take pepper now? i wana add pepper..den move on to chili.. hoho.

anyways.. i oso wana go buy them new set of cutleries today..n bowls.. upgrade to bigger ones.

): initially tot my mum can cm n cook them the meesuah on their bday.. but guess i will hfta do it nw myself le.

oh really? i din noe spinach cannot add with tofu! shit.. i tink much earlier when they started on porridge.. i mixed those! damn me!!!!! but they din like it.. so did not hv much.. n aft that, i chg recipe liao!

i heard the spinach and tofu thing dont go together when i read a recipe about making ur own tofu... but cannot remember why..

i tink food wise, my girls very very lag! day-in-day-out.. porridge niah..n same receipe some more!!!! they oni started trying yoghurt like 1 wk back! they dun eat much fruits! they hvnt really tried cooked egg yolk (oni once)! they oni had cheese like once or twice! they oni tried abit of bread like once! they hvnt tried pasta! they don't like spinach, so really not much greens oso! they drink little milk (oni abt 100-50ml per feed)! they don't drink alot of water (all go to clothes, bed, pillow, wherever else other than in their 'system'!)... don't think they can handle rice!

i oso every day porridge. but trying to come up with a menu.. so maid will not anyhow mix..:p for greens right? i give 2 serving every meal, she is a girl girl, i wanna her grow up eating healthy n more veges.. not like me, junk food all the way kekeke :p. greens got.. zuchinni, broocoli, xiaobauchye, caixin, kailan. french beans, aparagus right ?:p

CABBAGE <- can give? one bk say can cause digestive problems under 1 leh?

Toking abt yogurt i alr upgrade jovia to yoplait to 1yr+ liao she seems ok wif this than the one for abv 6mths de..mayb sweeter.

lol lately kyler keep saying pica still tryin to figure out wat he is talkin abt. Kyler as long porridge n cereal he eat watever i drop in but other food he not keen he like yogurt alot .. Milk he drink v little 1 day 3 time 120-180 ml sigh gave him bread he took 3 mouth dun 1 Liao beehoon also dun like used to be on with pasta now also dun like headache..

Cabbage was listed as 1 of the safe 1st foods for baby, but when i gave it to Ovann, he had loose stools and poo 3x that day. Normally he only poo once de. So from then on, i dun give him cabbage le. I remembered another mummy here also experience the same thing, so you might wanna take note.

My boy also eat porridge everyday, just that the menu is rotated between chicken, pork and fish. Tried pasta but he still dun quite like it .. will gag if i give him too much in 1 spoonful. So far he's ok with bread &amp; rice but he only took a few mouthful cos he wanted to eat our food.
 
ya.. talking abt yogurt hor.. my fren's bb oni 7mths... already taking the 1+ de leh!!! they claimed the PD said is ok leh! he has been on 1 cup a day for omoz 1mth liao i tink.

hehe.. "pica".. 'peekaboo'? oh..hokkien hokkien... 'smell leg'??? hahaha..

btw..i oso smtimes try to speak hokkien to my girls.. i wana let them hear more hookien than cantonese.. well..i like canto language.. but cos my MIL is cantonese.. then they speak more canto at hm.. I WAN MY GIRLS TO SPEAK MORE HOKKIEN! cos im hb hokkien, my parents hokkien.. our families hokkien.. lalala~
 
My gal luvs pasta..i make pasta source usually use pumpkin+carrot or tomato+sweet potato (orange color). then add mince meat or grilled cod fish. my girl can finished all. porride she dun really like...

Piggy, i thk kyler milk intake not vy little..i also gave 3 times a day..150x2 &amp; 180/200mlx1 for night feed. but wkday she drink more cos MIL give like 2times in a day then i gave mrng &amp; night feed.

RE: CABBAGE
could it be due to different kind of cabbage? there seems to be few kinds of cabbage in the supermarket.. normally i oni buy the one im familiar with de..the small small ball de niah.

so far, my girls oni take brocoli.. hvnt tried the others... chye xim, xiao bai cai.. all these, how to cook? oso chop up den cook in porridge?
 
oh.. i tink my girls' milk consumption not little afterall.. cm to tink of it.. though per intake is little.. but they r still waking up for night feeds.. so in total a day (24hr basis) prolly abt 900-1000ml bah. no wonder like owas hfta buy milk powder! -.-"

Shayna eats porridge everyday too. eats some adult foods when we are eating cos she wants to eat what we are eating..

occasionally i will put beehoon in with her porridge, so she can get used to the texture. she still eats it so i guess she is ok with it.

For leafy vege, i just chop finely and throw into the porridge when it's abt done.

Nowadays, whenever we at food court, ovann's eyes open big &amp; wide, and glitter in excitement whenever he sees us coming back with our food. Then he'll get all excited, kicking his legs, hands thumping the table. Its a funny sight

hehe.. will prolly try seperating them.. nowadays we oso cooking the lunch n dinner seperately liao.. ya, can imagine? previously we cook once..n let them hv for lunch, then balance for dinr... so not oni day-in-day-out same..lunch n dinr oso same!

Haha .. ovann also eat the same for lunch &amp; dinner but his menu got change daily lah. Maybe u can try to add in sweet potato or pumpkin into the porridge to give them a different flavour?

Speaking of language, we r only speaking eng &amp; mandarin to ovann. I'm dead sure he won't be able to speak hainanese since i only speak that to my sisters. Wat a waste!

I speak hokkien + mandarin to hubby &amp; my mum .. so maybe he'll pick it up after hearing us talking
