birthday party.
how are ur preparations?
wanna get a balloon sculpture initially.. but due to budget constraints.. decided to do w/o it. but the quotes i received so far..
1) kidzpartyonline - $110 for 1 hr

My bubba is 9 months old, and this week has been extremely fussy to feed. He used to love his cereals and porridge but now would not even open his mouth to feed. I'm a FTWM, and I realised that in desperation, my helper and mum have been feeding him milk with cereals with a syringe. I'm not sure if that's creating a very bad habit. Strangely he will open his mouth to feed on cheese and yoghurt. I recognise it could be teething and he does have teeth coming out, but this has been 2 weeks.
My helper and mum are very worried that if they go according to my instructions of "if you don't want to feed, I'm going to clear the lunch/dinner/breakfast/snack" away. They are worried that he will cry whole day and wake up in the night. He already barely sleep through the night.
What should I do?

smurfy, ballon sculpturing is not too difficult, just need to pick up the balloons and a pump, you can get a book to learn to do the sculpturing. The trick is to stretch the balloon before pumping and do not fill up the whole balloon. Fill up about 3 quarter and then start to do the sculpturing.
You can prepare the balloons before hand then give to the kids during the party or get a relative to do it. I used to do that during church fundraising and also for children's day.

my hubby is passport expire in sep10 he did not even notice. if not in time, then he stay home with baby, i bring my elder along with me. if in time we bring baby along. follow friends by coach. tink shd be ok.

Agree that it's not easy to cope if age gap is too small, but no choice cos i'm not young anymore ... can't afford to wait longer. Like wat piggy said, just do it 1 shot and it'll be alittle easier once they are slightly bigger.

Baby Max, try other food and yes he may be teething. Some babies have not problem with food during teething and other reject food and takes more milk.
My boy rejects the same food for 2 meals straight and he has different food for 3 days. Before I repeat the food again. He hates baby cereals so have been taking cheerios cereals instead, our food without seasoning.

Pegsfur, I agreed with you that was our plan initially for baby #2 and we started TTC when Kai turned but was not successful til 4 years later. Kai was really fast, just one try and we got pregnant and Ray took 4 years. So it is good to try early, as we do not know how long it takes.
We even when to Dr for testing and results were both of us are perfectly fine just have to keep trying. Everything is in God's timing that we can't rush.

2)All images taken would be returned in CD (high-resolution)
3)Basic touch up would be done.
4)There must be min. of 4 confirmed slots in a day.
5)Photoshoot is mainly for our baby, immediate family portrait can be included, meaning parents n Aug09 baby.
( Family portrait with extended family, such as grandparents, ah yee, ah gu etc, would require top up of $200. )
6)Top up would also be required if sibling of Aug09 baby is also having their shoot together. Charges would be $50/child.
7)Note that makeup is not included.( if required, we have makeup services @ $100 )
8)Deposit of $50 would be required to confirm the slot, with the balance to be paid by cash on day of photoshoot.

i don't think it's due to teething - been like that for quite a while - i so so tired. one night get interrupted sleep like 3-4 times not including milk feed and nowadays he drink half a bottle, then went back to sleep.

any recommendation for hotels in HK with harbour view? i saw intercontinental and fell in love with the harbour view, but book via hotel website is like SGD800 per night x 2 rooms...craxy har.
will definitely go for venetian at Macau!

I remembered that time the timing was fixed at 2 or 3pm cos some of us cannot make it early. The 2nd timing is too late as most want bb to rest & sleep liao. That's the reason why someone suggested to book 2 sessions so that we can have an in-between timing
