I hear you all let baby eat Yogurt , do NTUC sell baby yogurt ? or you all get those favour yogurt from NTUC ?


Cereal :

Nestle like very sweet , any cereal have abit of sweet but not as sweet as cereal ? Healthy times like no taste . Aiyo headache sia

wah the mama shop near my house dunno y sell the fitti premium, pet pet at only $10 wor super cheap..but only manage to grab 1 pack L n XL:x
 
Haizzz... Wanna complain abt my maid here... She just ask me for permission to buy Hp! From day 1 when I interview her at the agency I already tell her stictly no hp allow! Today she tell her after 2 more month she will her loan with the agency (getting full month pay) she want to buy a hp. I ask her why she need the hp, she say at night she cannot sleep can communicate with her family via SMS! I tell her I let u rest early so that day time u not tired... I also know day time taking care of the bb is tiring that is why I let u rest early! U boring cannot sleep u do hse work loh!
I ask her why u wanna spend the money where not as if I dun allow u to call home! I allow her to use the hse phone when her family call, also let her call home using the card. She tell me something diff to say over phone! Woh lau! Treat her good she dun know good!

was reading abt SIL & MIL, yday my hubby's stupid god sis say very loud infront of so many ppl to my baby tat the food she cook is nice mummy cook de not nice rite tats y baby don like to eat hor. was so upset wif wat she say lo. N when im feedin baby she keep givin my gal drink peach tea la n eat grape so angry till i went inside rm n scold her wif all the "wonderful" languages. But luckily she nv gif my gal eat crab if not i so burst infront of her de lo

shall we jus appoint 1 or 2 mummies for each area? If not u will have too many package to pack m sort? Jus my suggestion la.. Den maybe can have a spreadsheet let the mummies indicate wher they wan to collect fr wil tt be easier?

diarrhoea> juz chk the medication given by doc. it's lacto-forte. wonder if he dun haf diarrhoea, it's ok to give him one a day?

Haiz... I m damm fed up within... I cannot scold her or tell her off cos she is the main caregiver to my gal during the day when I m at work... I most cannot endure is she can say at night she boring cannot sleep wanna SMS communicate with her family... I every night let her rest abt 8 plus! Dun need to take care of bb at night. Treat her good she say she boring! I ask her, got see b4 maid work until late late then sleep. Sometimes we try to be nice but they dun know how to appreciate! Force us to be the nasty mdm then they happy.

i agree..dun be nice to them..no point one, give yourself more headache only..previous maid we also let her rest bout 9pm to rest n read..i even buy webcam to let her see her son
but she complain to agency say we ill treat her..so agency came spot check..maid was reading in her room n i was washing in the kitchen! Pissed me off so back she goes even though she still owe money

sandy and sharon, do you gals get another maid to replace or wat other arrangement u did for taking care of your child?

I got the maid mainly for babysitting my gal. I am thinking of infant care but seems like most are packed and on waiting list. This is not the 1st time I have such thoughts cos previously we went on a short holiday, road trip, bring the maid along. She come back like wanna die... she can still tell me things like she not enough rest cos traveling!

About a while ago I tried to find out where are the infant care around my place. I have been trying to endure till bb 18mth so that she can go to childcare. But looking at the rate she is behaving, I am worried I will burst b4 b4 my gal turn 18 month...

Thinking of backup plan now...

for the nestle cereal, i'll mix.. they have 2 types 1 with FM the other w/out... i buy both den add abit of the w/out FM into those with FM 1... to dilute the sweetness of the cereal...

i also use cereal w/o premixed FM from nestle and mixed with other brand like HT or HB cereals(both also no premixed of FM)

and i use my own FM for the cereals...

try mamil. I tried mamil over the weekend when my friso finished before the new batch arrive. The texture is similar and my gal did't have probs switching.

after my gal recover from illness, I give her some red dates porridge. I wonder if that helps to put some weight back. Prev for my son, I didn't know so never bu back the body. And he hardly puts on weight.

For your Ryan, u may wanna start on dong cong cao and croc meat now that he has recovered. Suppsed to be good for lungs.

piggytoh, my maid and bb will be at my mum place during the day. My maid not scared of my mum cos my mum is a stroke patient so she cant really speak... she can only take care of herself. Cant help in baby sitting.

u do not have any other means of support currently.. unless u quietly source for a new/replacement maid and send her back packing when the new maid arrives.. i dun like maids who think we will die without them.. i sent one home after being in my house for a day and told me she wanna go back phili.. well her wish is my command.. sent her back to agent and within 1 wk the agent sent her back to phil.. i dunno how much she is gonna owes the agent in phil but i dun care.. i survived one mth maidless with a 10mth old baby n a 3yr old toddler. not easy. but lucky i got family s upport during this period n engage in part time helper to clean the house once weekly..

yes, i am oso thinking of putting my girl in childcare once she reaches 18mths.. half day if the new maid is alright. full day if the new maid cannot makes it.. will place deposit for childcare soon.. just to chop a place kekekkekee

wat i do is i go ard my hse lookin for infant care n i manage to found 1 wif vacancy if anything at least i know wat to do.
For me i actuali prefer putting baby in infant care rather than wif maid cos i think my gal will at least learn something ther n b independent ba s she won b havin all the attention not like now. but pro is worry she will fall sick easily tats y till now i nv enrol her.

sharon, glad that Ryan is off nebulizer. You might want to bring him to TCM for tuina 1st to strengthen his body. At present before 1 yr old, think only red dates (for iron), douqizi (for eyes). My TCM physician does not suggest anything for bb till after 1. Then is to boil soup with cong cao not washed it to "bu" lung. She claimed cong cao wash liao, the nutritious value will be less than half, so to drink the soup but don't take the bottom.

Also to make beef essence for bb to drink now.
