Hi mummies,can these be get from Singapore? tessellen bumper mat and LG prime bumper mat. Still hesitate which one to get? hahaha any feedback....

u need the neubulizer set permanently? I think can be rent because my fren rent 1 set for sometime when her boy was very sick then. When recover just return back.

I work some days in office, some day from home.
yah... Still on full BM, so when I'm in office, he dont drink milk at all cos he reject the milk bottle.

i would go for LG prime. i got the parklon one. can withstand my boy's falls. he likes the bright pictures on it too. tat day i tot him rabbit n home. than he keep pointing at them =p

babiesmeme : my son also under the care of nanny....really have to open n close 1 eye and bear with the nanny.
2 mths back,my boy vomitted after we fed him the night feed. in his vomit, i saw purple -color grape skin. At one glance, i can see it is grapes. Then, we told the nanny not to feed my son grapes, becoz maybe his system still cannot eat grapes. Then the nanny said...ok, but she still denied that she feed the whole grapes with skin. She insisted she peel the skin out.

Then last nite, my son vomiitted again, then again..same, purple skin grapes. Then i am so pissed out ....( as i m typing this,i am still angry at her). I took a picture with my hp, with the grapes skin, and asked my husb to tell that auntie off. ( we enagegd her as nanny becoz she is my MIL's frenz and a long family frenz with my husb's family, so my husb trust her very much).
Then my husb this morning went to tell the auntie DUN EVER GIVE GRAPES again( i usually dun go with them to drop off my son in mornings), then the nanny told my husb "ok" that's all. She din denied she gave the grapes with skin , becoz if she do that,i can show her the picture in my hp.
I can't wait to sack her...but my MIL keeps on wanting her to take care, even before i deliver.
iniytially charged us 700...then after 6 mths, raised the price to 750 becoz she said..fish expensive. WTH lor..i suan my husb " ehh...she is your family frenz for so long, still so calculative over 50 bucks".
 
yen2008> i nv like family related pple to take care of my boy. i still think ifc is the safest, even though the attention not as much n more prone to illness cos of the big bulk of children. but he gets to interact with more pple there

kiki, jia you Ray is the same as your Kiiron refuse bottles but takes to drinking from straw. I only let him drink water from Straw but direct latch when bfding.
 
michelle: IFC is gd but me and my husb may not be able to pick up our boy before 7pm. Nanny-wise, more flexi, can pick up aft 8pm.
In any case, I am lookin ard at bukit batok central , will put my son in childcare once he reach 17-18mths. hopefully, by then i have found another job.

when I'm with my boy, I just latch direct. No need to wash bottles mah.

Initially was still trying to force him to take bottles but now gave up already.
managed to convince myself that wont need to weane him off bottle. kekeke!
Whenever I see other baby taking bottle, I'm so envy leh... Now my mum will spoon feed him if I'm not around.

same for my boy leh...ever since few weeks ago after his first teeth appear...he seem to refuse the bottle totally, only wanted to latch leh...duno why...FM or EBM in bottle he also dun wan will cry when try to push the teat in...even wait til he sleepy close eyes, i change to teat bottle, he also cry n refuse..

with mag mag cup, he will jsut bite the white thingy...wah now got to spoon feed him milk n water...very cham leh..how har?

some say cos he older liao, prefer to latch only..then like that how to wean off??? i v stress leh...night still wake up every 1-3hrly cry cry n so latch...
are ur babies like taht too...any idea how??? u all intend to bf and latch til how old ah??? i scared he go hungry, so bo bian got to latch lor...then bring go out also very difficult leh..need to latch..some places like park no facilities to latch..argh...

yesterday i went still have.. the fitti price now $14.25 so i take pampers coz got 20% then calculate by pc, cheaper than fitti..
 
jeni, when i go out i jus use nursing cover and latch him anywhere leh... i think ethan wasn't 100% latch after i went back to work so he is still ok with bottles..

yi yen2008, mine is 7.30pm but we always pick up before 7.00pm. my bb got rashes when he took biscuits and i stop my nanny from giving him and he is ok. Then after a while, he got bad rashes again around his diaper area. I told her not to give him biscuits especially the xiao man tou again and bb is ok. So i suspect she did not listen in the first place.

ya.. if can get cheaper, tink will switch to pampers leh.. all the long i like after i tried the samples but too ex.. and not so thick like fitti.. but if for the price for wat i pay for fitti last time, still worth it lah.. coz cheap and good ma..
 
Janice, my boy wasn't even 100% latch from birth lor..all the way was both....or rather from 3m onwards then know how to latch lor..so was bottle first.then latch n bottle...

u all think can give straw already,? but he still choking on stage 2 mag mag leh...

ya pampers price is very good liao...n quite good to use too.

too bad i've alr stocked quite a few packs at home otherwise can go get more!! my wardrobe now full of diapers...

half day for ifc on sat. but i dun bring him there.

Hi ladies,
Does your baby get angry easily now? My girl wants me to put her down on the floor but I carry her and she goes "making her fingers into fists and shake her arms" showing me she is angry". I imitate her, one arm holds her and the hand form into fist and shake. She seems to realize I m teasing her and she whines. 10 months baby is getting more n more interesting...

if you don't like the way your nanny handles your bb, it might be better/safer to put in ifc. who knows what your nanny will do to the bb again !

I agree better change nanny if u dun like the way they handle.. My friend engage 1 nanny highly recommended by friend after 1-2 mth she request more pay my friend bargain a bit.. N now dunno wat she do to the BB the BB Jena shaking syndrome under go operation now half blind n a bit retarded... They report to police but no evidence.. So I hope u gals do monitor ur nanny if really uncomfortable pls put it at IFC which I tink will be alot better.

I bought stage 3 magmag (straw top)
he is ok with drinking water, but if it's milk, he will suck but milk will leak from his mouth. I saw him fly spit the milk out even!

yes. my boy is getting very playful. he can identify want will make us laugh and he will keep repeating that action!

nanny
my nephew was with nanny for 5 years. he can identify ALL the logo of the starhub channels from 2 yrs old lor.

It's really not easy taking care of babies.
When my mum went overseas 2 weeks back, I'm looking after my boy. He's like scream crying at least 1 hr per day in his playpen. I cant watch him every second, so confine him while I do my work.

ya lo my friend case reported in the news many time but till now they cant do anything to the nanny.. so sad.. at least ifc is more profession no doubt easier to catch germs there but i rather bb sick den hurt/die... n we pay the nanny still mus gave in to them..sigh...
 
kiki, your mother must be super patient... sometimes I have to feed Isaac with a spoon cos he dun want his milk from the bottle, and its takes super long and spill all over the place.

babiesmeme/yen, agree that if u feel unhappy with what the nanny does behind your back, really got to rethink. I had a nanny last time for a few months for my older one, and she had all kinds of "advice" like breastmilk is not nutritious and babies should eat this or that... I took my girl out after 2 months and quit my job. Think ifc better, at least they wun do funny things cos they will record everything for you.
