Ovann has been sleeping all over the place in his cot recently. I put him on the bed nicely, parallel to the length of the cot, den i went to brush my teeth. When i came out, which was like 3mins later, he is sleeping parellel to the width of the cot, and his whole body is at the extreme right side of the cot. And alot of times, his legs will be hanging out from the cot:

There is 2 medical hall at Jurong west think is ST 51 where they sell cheaper milk powder. Friso is $32.50 if I'm not wrong. Cheaper than the jumbo at West coast.

It was already stuck there lor ... so many times i have to go & rescue him and each time he will still put his leg there & stick out.

Strange but Ovann have not stick out his arms once ... it was always his legs. *shakes head*

Cos Friso price had increased leh. NTUC selling at $34. So jumbo also increase price. Now Econ still selling at $29.90? Which Econ hah?

huh? got increase price meh? cos since kyler born til now it was alway $34 leh n all this while i buy from jumbo also $29.80 only this mth they increase wor.. i heard from my neighbour JW ext also got medicine shop sellin $29.90 wor.. the econ at West coast.

My hb brought the last tin fm jumbo at $29.80.
 
my gal last nite 1st time fell down from the bed. her daddy tot she can only flip cannot flip back so left her on our bed and attend to #1(she just know how to flip back when her daddy was outstationed last week). accident happened. cry so bady. head a bit red but ok now. lucky my flooring is parquet.

just ask for samples for all the companies regardless of whether u wanna let your kid drink or not. After that, u can exchange with another mother or sell it off.

Juz sharing when I do enquiry with the school for their Music @ Jumpstart.
Was told there will be a Preview Session by Seimpi School of Music.

If any of mummies interested to attend, kindly call the school to reserve a place. They allow parents to bring along the children.

31 Jan at 11am in Seimpi Funan Digital Life Mall
Preview Session at Hougang in Feb2010, date not fixed yet, will inform me again.
 
Got a qn, when would bm be no longer beneficial for the baby ?
Someone was telling me by the time they are abt 10 mths to a year, taking bm is not beneficial for the baby anymore.
Is this true or is bm good for the baby throughout.... ?

my girl could flip from back to tummy since she was 3.5months old but til now turning 5 months next week still have not learnt to flip from tummy to back...hmmm...
 
Dolcevita: my mum also said the same thing to persuade me to stop breastfeeding. She said my milk no longer nutritious for the baby, may as well let them drink formula milk , got more nutrients inside.
 
My MIL that time, even said that time baby cough, is becoz i ate cooling food, like cabbage and beansprouts and orange. so baby drink the breastmilk, and kenna cough.
Aiya...these old pple wan to find fault with u, they can say anythg they like.

Would love to meet up as well. Weekend will be best but it seems like some of the mummies would prefer to have it on a weekday instead.

If it is a weekday, i am only available on certain days as i am now trying to clear my 2 months maternity leave.

TMC lactation consultant say it is the best to give BM till 2 years leh, chiam me 2 weeks only no supply liao.. how i wish i could give my boy bm even just for 2 months.. =(

My boy today 5 months liao, still cannot flip, either way also cannot, and he doesnt seem to want to flip also, i am wondering if he will skip that sia..
 
SL, if she has phlgem then better not. Actually the FM isn't their main milk drink, they normally take the oat milk which I told u about previously. But Oat milk is kinda blend, so I put in 1 small scoop of FM to sweeten a little. So doesn't matter what kind of FM since its only so little.

Dolce, if you can make it to 2 yrs of bf that would be really ideal

I think BM is valuable no matter at what age. Its just that after 1 yr old, the toddler takes 3 meals a day, and drinks a lot less milk, so BM doesn't supply all the nutritional needs. But still there are antibodies which is great.

Wah ... just now my neighbour cooking kong bah ... smells so nice leh. Thinking of cooking it this weekend. Was wondering if i can use slow cooker to cook it? Cos hubby likes the kong bah nuah nuah de.

my gynae was telling me min 3mths, ideal 6mths, max 9m. Reason is as what mich said.

my supply also dropping, now each day is just nice, like playing catch up! I'm just hanging on till 6mths. Now the fm all used up already, not going to get another one till he turns 6m and takes follow-on formula. Still one mth and a wk to go.
